Thank you Hotel Adler. As someone who travels a lot and spend many nights in hotels, I am always astounded when I come across a hotel that positively surprises me on all fronts. The service and quality of everything you do was nothing short of the best. I can truly say it was my best hotel night in years. Thanks again for taking such good care of a global traveller. Great overnight stay - lovely hotel, friendly, clean, good facilities including a super pool. Only issue is that we booked a half board package through hotels.com. Our evening meal was booked at a restaurant a 20 minute walk away. This turned out to be an uphill walk through vineyards to a fort at the top of the town. Our meal was in the cafe - wooden tables, plastic chairs, no atmosphere and only one other couple who were about to leave. Apparently there was a restaurant downstairs but that was laid up for an event the following day. So we returned to the hotel and requested to be seated in their restaurant which duly happened and we had a very enjoyable meal.
