This was a lovely but basic hotel. Slightly rustic, but charming and very good value. Fire pit, table tennis and small play equipment in the garden. Hotel was basic, older decor but very well maintained. We had a nice view from our room. Checking in through a machine was a fun experience. Free Parking. We would definitely stay again.

There are a few things worth noting before you book this place. It says breakfast is available but it is only for weekends. There is no breakfast on weekdays. We had a bit of a struggle because of this especially travelling with a kid. The room size was big but it has a strange bathroom set up. The WC and shower are different which is useful but the door of shower is made of glass which means anyone in the room can see you inside which is odd especially when travelling with families and having young children. I understand you get basis what u pay but this is completely odd.

The room was spacious and clean. We arrived after hours so no staff was present. The digital check-in was a bit uncomfortable as it would require a PIN for credit cards, not usual for US cards and was not We were a bit anxious about the check-in. Otherwise the stay was comfortable.

There was a stable directly behind the hotel, and the smell of manure was overwhelming throughout the property. The room was unbearably hot. The hotel claimed to offer EV charging, but there were no chargers. The beds were uncomfortable, and the pillows were terrible. We booked two nights but left after one because we simply didn’t want to stay any longer. We cannot recommend this hotel.
