A very traditional German hotel, which was an interesting experience in itself. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The host made an effort to assist when the room became quite warm during the heatwave, which was appreciated. Breakfast was decent and had a reasonable selection. Overall, a satisfactory stay and good value for a short visit.

The hotel is conveniently located in the town centre, with parking available in the town square, with 2 x EV charging points. The hotel was not dissimilar to a lot of older hotels with dated decor, and everything worked. However, there was no internet and no water, etc in the room. The room rate was quite acceptable, but we were charged EUR 14 per head for breakfast, which was borderline extortionate for the spread provided.

Forvirrende ind- og udtjekning, gratis parkering blev anvist, men resulterede i en bøde. Intet fra fotogalleriet levede op til virkeligheden. Værelset lå i et baghus over en garage. For at komme til restauranten skulle vi gennem en uhygiejnisk beerstube og bagindgang. Restaurantlokalerne var gamle og virkede bedagede, nussede ligesom de effekter, der stod rundt omkring i vindueskarme mv. Maden var (trods dyrest på kortet) ikke pengene værd. Kødet tørt og overstegt. Serveringen/betjeningen var helt ubeskrivelig dårlig. Ingen imødekommenhed overhovedet. Vinen blev “sjasket” i glassene, så dele af den endte i sovsen (som i filmen: Same procedure as ladt year, James”). Servitricen gad ikke mere den aften. Vi var til besvær. Morgenmaden acceptabel. Hotellet er i den billige ende, men vi har aldrig på lignende steder oplevet noget lignende. Absolut ikke anbefalelsesværdigt
