The property was very nice and clean, however, we were disappointed as none of the pools were open, we were looking forward to using the pools, the availability of food nearby wasn’t that great. There were not many restaurants in the hotel or near the hotel. Most pizzerias were closed or under construction.

We stayed here for one night. It’s a very large resort hotel so we didn’t do much since we were passing though in between other destinations and plans. The pool was basic and the large one was closed for some reason when I tried to take my kids. I did not go to the beach which looked nice. The biggest bummer was their buffet dinner (30 euro per adult). It was not good at all. Food did not seem fresh and reminded me of cafeteria food. The rooms were clean and comfortable though. Very loud at night with music.

I have to say I have seldom felt this comfortable and welcome when abroad. The staff were absolutely brilliant and that started when we walked into reception and continued till we drove out to the airport. I am gluten intolerant once I told staff this they were amazing. Every meal I was taken around the buffet and told what I could and couldn’t eat. Gluten free bread was on my table when I arrived and if I decided on a pasta option gluten free pasta was prepared with ten minutes. We are retired and this trip was to celebrate my wife’s significant birthday. I asked if they could make cake, not a problem it was delicious as well as being gluten free, the warmth of the staff was great. Entertainment was shall we say dynamic? Every night a guy and/or a lady turned up with speakers and computers and depending who was sitting around determined how much fun it was, most nights it was enjoyable. The pools were roped off, it was April, I dipped my toe in and was glad they were. There was though plenty of pool furniture available for use. I don’t speak much Italian, Reception and some restaurant staff spoke good English, couple that with a translate app we had no real problems communicating in or out of the hotel and even made friends with a family from Milan who spoke little English. To sum up a complete success and wouldn’t hesitate to return

Hver aften havde de hyret en sanger til at stå midt i deres gang, og det larmede forfærdeligt, da det hele var fliser, så folk lukkede branddøren for at skærme af for lyden. Der var ligeledes højlydt fest på hotellet om aftenen, som også støjede. Service i receptionen var dårlig og uhøvlig, og værelset var kun gjort delvist rent. Positiv: Ich habe ein Zimmer mit Balkon und renoviertem Bad bekommen, da ich vorher eine Mail geschrieben habe und freundlich danach fragte. Normalerweise kostet dies 120€ extra. Ich hatte Frühstück, Lunch und Abendessen und habe wirklich immer etwas gefunden. Innerhalb der Woche gab es sogar frisch gepressten Orangensaft beim Frühstück. Wasser und Wein waren ebenfalls inklusive. Der Privatstrand ist toll und die Liegen dort sind kostenfrei. Negativ: Außer an der Rezeption sprach niemand des Personals englisch. Mitarbeiter wirkten lustlos und unmotiviert. Eine Massage konnte ich nicht buchen, da nie jemand vor Ort war. (telefonisch wäre ich vielleicht nicht verstanden worden). In der Umgebung gibt es eine Zugstation, die 25 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt ist. Ansonsten gibt es keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in direkter Umgebung. Öffentlicher Strand recht schmutzig. Laute Musik vom Hotel aus fast jeden Tag zu hören von daher schwierig einzuschlafen.

The hotel is in good location, but needs modernization. Most of the staff were very nice and made our stay at hotel but more comfortable. As my wife is a vegan she found it very difficult to get vegan food. More needs to be done in this area. The staff tried their best to help us but the language barrier made it a challenge. One of the reason we chose Saracens hotel is that on the website, we were lead to believe we would have use the swimming pool, spa facilities , sauna, jacuzzi. But nothing was open.

If you want a quiet holiday, this is not for you! Lots of large groups of holiday makers, loud music at both sides of the site. No options for eating unless you opt for full board (only one bar snack available, toasted sandwich) and limited bar options (the bar near reception closes at 5pm). But staff are helpful and welcoming, and premises kept very clean.

This hotel was where we stayed the night before our 6am flight home, so we were mainly there for proximity to the airport. It's still 16 minutes drive from the airport but the closest I could find. The staff were really helpful in lining up the shuttle to/from the airport, but the shuttle is pretty expensive, at 55 Euros at 4:30am. (35 Euros during the day.) The room was clean and we ate both lunch and dinner in the hotel dining room. The food is reasonably priced and decent. Breakfast was included in our room but since we left at 4:30am, they provided us with a packed breakfast to take with us. My only wish was that there had been a way to walk out the back of the hotel down to the beach. I gather that it may be less safe to walk on the beach at night, but we would have gone down there during the afternoon if we'd been able to get through there.

Personnel tres gentil, mais l'hôtel est en decomposition odeur de moisissure et les toilettes senteur d'urine prononcé et mal propre surtout ceux du buffets, odeur d'urine dans notre chambre et trace sales et de rouille partout sur le balcon et tout l'hôtel pour moi c'est un 2 etoiles, tres déçue

It is an okay hotel, definitely not 4 star as claimed. The room we were given was fairly basic, the furniture were old and out-dated, and needs upgrading. There was no kettle or any facility to have tea/coffee in the room. Beds were really hard and creaking, but we had two double beds in our room instead of one double bed, maybe suitable for family. Bathroom was okay, the cistern was constantly leaking, and the shower head had probably been there for ages, as we can see black discoloration, which could be harbouring Legionella, and can cause serious infection. Rooms were cleaned every day, fresh towels supplied. The pools were dirty and over crowded. Beach towels costs 2.50 Euro. One of my main complaints is that the drinking water supply was very limited, particularly in that hot weather it is important to drink plenty to avoid dehydration. Water was only available in the dinning area, with restricted access. The staff did not allow to fill up the water bottle. What a shame! Water is a basic human need and the hotel does not seem to care. Food was good, but became a bit repetitive, which is expected. Local white and red wines were for free, they were okay. The best part was the private beach, which was well staffed and the water was clean. We had a designated sun lounger so there was no hassle. The nearest train station was only 10 mins walk, and have easy train access to Palermo central. We used a taxi service of the hotel's contact, which was really expensive.

This is a nice hotel, with very attentive staff, and big rooms. The beach is beautiful and the mountains in the backdrop are stunning. Outstanding sunsets. Close to airport and Palermo. Food is buffet and so hard to get excited about.

If you book from a third party site, make sure they give you the right type of room. Breakfast options were limited. Air conditioning only went down to 22 degrees (hardly cooled the room). Room had tatty wallpaper in places. Too noisy to sit out and enjoy the balcony. The staff were very pleasant and polite. We will not be booking here again.

Tutto molto bello e buono ma la camera non è all'altezza. Purtroppo la camera 200 era di un hotel 2 stelle senza balcone e senza avere il modo di stendere i costumi e i teli bagnati. Stesi nel bagno 2 metri x 2 . Per andare dall'altra parte del letto dovevo saltare sopra il letto.

Paid for a room facing sea, got a room with an admittedly good side view. No hot water in the morning so had to skip the shower and shave. Corridors funnel noise in to the room due to tiles on the floor. School tours book this hotel but the staff try to segregate them. In summary it was OK but I would have booked elsewhere had I known in advance.

It is an okay hotel, definitely not 4 star as claimed. The room we were given was fairly basic, the furniture were old and out-dated, and needs upgrading. There was no kettle or any facility to have tea/coffee in the room. Beds were really hard and creaking, but we had two double beds in our room instead of one double bed, maybe suitable for family. Bathroom was okay, the cistern was constantly leaking, and the shower head had probably been there for ages, as we can see black discoloration, which could be harbouring Legionella, and can cause serious infection. Rooms were cleaned every day, fresh towels supplied. The pools were dirty and over crowded. Beach towels costs 2.50 Euro. One of my main complaints is that the drinking water supply was very limited, particularly in that hot weather it is important to drink plenty to avoid dehydration. Everything was great, up until we needed a taxi to the train station. The desk lady just kind of pointed the right outside and said you can catch a taxi over there. But the night before, the other lady at the desk said it would be no problem to call you a taxi. So there you go. Then the taxi guy I got us to the train station gouged us around $40.00

I have to say I have seldom felt this comfortable and welcome when abroad. The staff were absolutely brilliant and that started when we walked into reception and continued till we drove out to the airport. I am gluten intolerant once I told staff this they were amazing. Every meal I was taken around the buffet and told what I could and couldn’t eat. Gluten free bread was on my table when I arrived and if I decided on a pasta option gluten free pasta was prepared with ten minutes. We are retired and this trip was to celebrate my wife’s significant birthday. I asked if they could make cake, not a problem it was delicious as well as being gluten free, the warmth of the staff was great. Entertainment was shall we say dynamic? Every night a guy and/or a lady turned up with speakers and computers and depending who was sitting around determined how much fun it was, most nights it was enjoyable. The pools were roped off, it was April, I dipped my toe in and was glad they were. There was though plenty of pool furniture available for use. I don’t speak much Italian, Reception and some restaurant staff spoke good English, couple that with a translate app we had no real problems communicating in or out of the hotel and even made friends with a family from Milan who spoke little English. To sum up a complete success and wouldn’t hesitate to return

Vi havde booket dem ud fra det faktum, at de havde pool og børnepool, samt en legeplads. Poolen var helt lukket, børnebassin var ikke rengjort og legepladsen var halvt nedlagt og delvis i stykker, og slet ikke sikker. Hver aften havde de hyret en sanger til at stå midt i deres gang, og det larmede forfærdeligt, da det hele var fliser, så folk lukkede branddøren for at skærme af for lyden. This hotel was where we stayed the night before our 6am flight home, so we were mainly there for proximity to the airport. It's still 16 minutes drive from the airport but the closest I could find. The staff were really helpful in lining up the shuttle to/from the airport, but the shuttle is pretty expensive, at 55 Euros at 4:30am. (35 Euros during the day.) The room was clean and we ate both lunch and dinner in the hotel dining room. The food is reasonably priced and decent. Breakfast was included in our room but since we left at 4:30am, they provided us with a packed breakfast to take with us. My only wish was that there had been a way to walk out the back of the hotel down to the beach. I gather that it may be less safe to walk on the beach at night, but we would have gone down there during the afternoon if we'd been able to get through there.

What a great hotel!! The staff is excellent and so helpful, from the staff at the reception desk to the servers at the buffet. It is a fun and friendly atmosphere of large and small groups. The decor is eclectic with a strong sense of design. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Beautiful views of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The property was very nice and clean, however, we were disappointed as none of the pools were open, we were looking forward to using the pools, the availability of food nearby wasn’t that great. There were not many restaurants in the hotel or near the hotel. Most pizzerias were closed or under construction.

The prop was not well maintained. Inside it was clean but not welcoming. The gardens and exterior of the building was run down. Bars and dining was limited. Staff in the pizzeria was very friendly and the pizza was good. Unfortunately the atmosphere at the hotel was cold. Nice beach, don’t try to be there at sunset, you get locked out.

Positiv: Ich habe ein Zimmer mit Balkon und renoviertem Bad bekommen, da ich vorher eine Mail geschrieben habe und freundlich danach fragte. Normalerweise kostet dies 120€ extra. Ich hatte Frühstück, Lunch und Abendessen und habe wirklich immer etwas gefunden. Innerhalb der Woche gab es sogar frisch gepressten Orangensaft beim Frühstück. Wasser und Wein waren ebenfalls inklusive. Der Privatstrand ist toll und die Liegen dort sind kostenfrei. Negativ: Außer an der Rezeption sprach niemand des Personals englisch. Mitarbeiter wirkten lustlos und unmotiviert. Eine Massage konnte ich nicht buchen, da nie jemand vor Ort war. (telefonisch wäre ich vielleicht nicht verstanden worden). In der Umgebung gibt es eine Zugstation, die 25 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt ist. Ansonsten gibt es keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in direkter Umgebung. Öffentlicher Strand recht schmutzig. Laute Musik vom Hotel aus fast jeden Tag zu hören von daher schwierig einzuschlafen.

It is what it says it is - a conference hotel. We stayed there one night because it is convenient (10 min drive) to Palermo airport but it was completely rammed with conference goers. The hotel reception and service staff simply could not cope with the volume. Bedroom was an odd layout and very plasticky but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Located next to a nice looking beach but we felt this was more a transitory stop than a longer term destination. Couple of nice restaurants nearby.

We stayed here for one night. It’s a very large resort hotel so we didn’t do much since we were passing though in between other destinations and plans. The pool was basic and the large one was closed for some reason when I tried to take my kids. I did not go to the beach which looked nice. The biggest bummer was their buffet dinner (30 euro per adult). It was not good at all. Food did not seem fresh and reminded me of cafeteria food. The rooms were clean and comfortable though. Very loud at night with music.

This hotel was where we stayed the night before our 6am flight home, so we were mainly there for proximity to the airport. It's still 16 minutes drive from the airport but the closest I could find. The staff were really helpful in lining up the shuttle to/from the airport, but the shuttle is pretty expensive, at 55 Euros at 4:30am. (35 Euros during the day.) The room was clean and we ate both lunch and dinner in the hotel dining room. The food is reasonably priced and decent. Breakfast was included in our room but since we left at 4:30am, they provided us with a packed breakfast to take with us. My only wish was that there had been a way to walk out the back of the hotel down to the beach. I gather that it may be less safe to walk on the beach at night, but we would have gone down there during the afternoon if we'd been able to get through there.

What a great hotel!! The staff is excellent and so helpful, from the staff at the reception desk to the servers at the buffet. It is a fun and friendly atmosphere of large and small groups. The decor is eclectic with a strong sense of design. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Beautiful views of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

I returned to the Saracen for the second time with my family. I strongly recommend for family with kids, great fun with the animator team both on the beach with music, exercises and in the evening with dancs and entertainment. The food was different and lots of variety however often it was not very warm and not much fresh fruits in the morning.

Except for little unstable WiFi everything was great! We loved this hotel and it is close to the nature. The restaurant offered nice breakfast buffet and dinner options. Very good car parking in the hotel garage as well.

We had a wonderful time. We traveled with the in-laws and teenagers. The property had a little something for everyone with the multiple pools and private beach access. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in the Palermo area and wanting to enjoy time in the sun.
