Nice pool area! Wish they provided breakfast, but overall a very nice stay!

I loved the bar and dining area. The staff were excellent! My room was clean!

The pool was in dire need of cleaning. The beds and pillows were average. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.

We had a great experience at this property. Check-in was a breeze we even was able to check in early worth no extra charges. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Light musk smell in the room i believe from the carpet but the room and bathroom was very clean. This property is in walking distance to Walmart, restaraunts, shops, and gas station. Very safe and quiet area. They have free parking, a gym, pool (under maintenance for a few weeks), a outdoor sitting area, and a bistro and full service bar. The bistro food was absolutely amazing. Jean is an amazing chef and bartender. He was so friendly and the food was sooooo good. We had the fries and cheesecake which were phenomenal. Another customer got the ribs and those looked amazing. I forgot to take a picture of the food but i did get a picture of the empty plates.

Rooms are nice. Pool, dining option at bar or table. So you have option to eat there instead of finding a restaurant. Walmart is right behind this hotel which helps with last minute things you need. I like this hotel with Jacksonville cruise port close.

Overall was great. Only negative the hotel bar closed early and opened late. But definitely would stay again.

I had booked a one night stay at this hotel, I looked at various different locations and compared them and based on the reviews I felt this was a decent deal with the included amenities. I specifically wanted to go to a hotel that offered a pool but more importantly a hot tub and a fire place. This was my husbands birthday weekend so I wanted to do something nice. The check in service was great, very friendly staff, the lobby looked very nice and promising with a nice little bistro as well. When we got to our room, it was nice and clean. The only issue I experienced was the bathroom vent not working, I did not bring up this issue because it felt pointless after everything else. We were excited to go to the pool area and enjoy our evening in the hot tub for a few hours. When we got outside the pool area was empty. We went to the hot tub and tried turning it on but it wasn’t working. We called up to the front desk and were assisted by staff but not much could be done except an apology and to wait it out till it might start working and heating up. After a while we gave up and wanted to warm up by the fire pit….guess what wasn’t working either…..we called up at the front desk again and staff tried to assist but they also weren’t able to assist and we were told to just wait and see if it comes on eventually…it didn’t. We let the front desk know we were going upstairs and were offered two water bottles to make up for it…..really upsetting honestly. Would not book again.

The staff was very nice and welcoming. The room was very clean.

The bathroom was in need of repair. The shower glass door wasn’t entirely clean. Garbage bags were not in the receptacles, the toilet paper and shower handles were both broken. The ceiling showed signs of water damage as well.

Shower had hair in the shower and on the bathroom walls. Parking lot needed repair. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, lodging ok, but in comparison I’ve stayed is much better Courtyard properties.

Hole in the hotel room wall, scratches and marks all over the walls, and toilet paper holder broken. Just not typical of a Marriott standard hotel and very disappinting.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The room was great and we got a fantastic night's rest.

The only reason I don't give this trip 5 full stars is because the hotel was dealing with the new TV system and my set kept getting out of sync and I had to keep rebooting the TV. But the service was excellent throughout. There were some slight issues at the cafe/ bar with supplies as well. I would stay there again.

Beautiful room w/friendly staff. I was in town for just one night but wish I could've enjoyed the room longer. Room had tub, microwave and refrigerator, which i always love. And, I could veg out watching Netflix, a feature I wish more hotel chains had available. I could walk to a restaurant across the street and to Walmart! If I return to FL, I will definitely choose this Courtyard.

Wonderful. Berry clean everyone was nice. Only thing the ac wouldn’t go down lower than 72 and didn’t really blow hard.

Very nice clean room

The TV never did work right and the bottom drawer of the unit wasn't working right. Little oversights that people don't check on.

Air conditioning needs work. It never got below 78 degrees

We had a difficult time with the air conditioning. It was very cold in our room and we didn’t understand how to raise the temperature.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. It is in a nice quiet area. Great one night stay.

I missed my flight so I never stayed here. I asked for a refund and they denied me stating that I had checked in and stayed when I clearly did not. These people lied to deny me a refund and they’ll do the same to you and not think twice about it.

The gentleman that was at the desk and checked us in was the nicest, warmest, front desk person I have ever meet in all my many times of staying in hotels. The hotel was amazing and clean but the gentleman at the desk when we checked in set the standard for why this was a great stay.

Staff friendly and helpful

This will be my go to place whenever I travel to Jacksonville hands down one of my best hotel experiences. Geoffrey is a great receptionist. He was friendly, detailed, & knowledgeable of all our accommodations.

Check in was good, very friendly, asked about getting service next day. He said no problem. Got to our room, we had been told it was a handicap room, no problem. We had no towels in the bathroom, tried to call downstairs, phone did not work, went down stairs, at this point I’m well able to do that, but maybe someone else wouldn’t. When I went to the desk, it was like it was no problem just handed me 2 towels, I’m saying, I need every towel. At that point the guy that checked me in said about wanting service next day, yes thank you, that was the second time we talked about it. Went out to dinner. Later on turned on the tv only 4 channels it had streaming but it kept saying no internet, so couldn’t sign in. Phone still didn’t work so called the hotel from my cell phone. The guy at the front desk said he could have some one call, but they couldn’t because the phone in the room didn’t work. I said forget it, please fix tomorrow when they service the room, we would be gone all day. Next morning I reminded them at the desk about the tv they said they we’re in between setting up the system, nothing they could do. I told them we would be gone all day, she checked to see about the service on the room. 3 times it had been checked in the computer. Came back in the evening, no service. We came to see the 49er game. They won. But this was our memory of the hotel.

I booked my stay in Courtyard by Marriot and paid for it!. When I get there, they told me that Hotels.com overbooked the hotel so they made a reservation to another Hotel near by. Overall my stay was fine but after traveling 25.5 hours finding out that my booking wasn't properly done is a major disappointment. If you are providing this service, you need to make sure the bookings are done properly!

Nice hotel and staff. Location was odd as it was open on all four sides to noise, traffic, and people. This may not impact everyone but, for me, it was a little noisy and it didn’t allow for quiet spaces/areas on the grounds. On the positive, it is close to food and shopping because of the location on the edge of a Walmart parking lot. If you can tolerate the commotion it has that

Location location location. Places I needed to go within miles of each other. I would stay there again if I need to go back to Jacksonville.

Great location. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Love the darkening window covers. Always pleasant and clean.

It was easy to access a bank, shopping, food, etc all around the hotel.

Hotels dot com allowed for the option of breakfast included in booking or not. We chose to pay more on booking so to have breakfast included. When we showed to breakfast the next morning of our booking, we found that the new owner elected to have a cook to order restaurant handle the hotel’s breakfast. Their menu was a pay accordingly. So, looks like we paid twice for breakfast for two people. Oh well.

The breakfast area was very neat and accessible. I found the pricing to be quite high however. $11 seems quite pricey for a breakfast sandwich. It was tasty nonetheless but not sustainable for a long stay. The check in and check out process was amazing. The staff super pleasant and helpful. They were efficient and the area very neat and tidy. The room was neat. The tv and air conditioning worked well. The room overall was tidy. We ran out of toilet paper on the last day which was disappointing on a weekend stay. It would seem that an extra roll should have been provided before we checked in.

The hotel was clean and staff was incredible. The kitchen staff helped to make a Starbucks drink that is not on their menu.
