The location and the food are the only redeeming qualities for this hotel. It’s very convenient if you’re going to Sea World/Aquatica, it’s basically across the freeway. We had dinner and breakfast (no continental breakfast) and they were both great. And that’s about where the goodness ended. The room was spacious, but disgusting. Stains on the pillow cases, even the spare ones in the closet had stains. The couch had stains. There was leftover trash, random used straws in random places, used toothpicks on the headboard. No conditioner in the shower, the toilet paper looked like it had been clawed at, the light switch is coming off the wall. And we wanted to wind down in the hot tub after walking around all day at Sea World, but it was freezing. Chris was cool at check-in, but the guy who checked us out barely even looked at me, didn’t ask how the stay was, just took the card and said, “Receipt will be emailed”, and didn’t even look up. This place is extremely understaffed too. Very, very disappointed in our stay here, especially for how much it cost.

First custodial. On second day we asked why nobody cleaned the room and were told that it was to be done every other day. On day 3 the cleaning person came after my daughter had already taken out trash. The cleaning person made the bed and dropped off a pile of towels. That is all. Did not even wipe out the bathroom sink. The worst part was the shower. I need to have a handicap shower as I am unsteady on my feet. That is what the reservation said. It was ridiculous. One end with a seat and small safety bar had no faucet or sprayer. The end with the shower head had one vertical bar for getting in. It was so shiny I had to put my hand over the shower curtain to be able to grip it. The bottom of the tub was slick as glass. We asked about changing rooms and got a big no. They told us they had a shower chair but it wouldn't be sturdy enough for me. I weigh 175. I went 2 days with just a wash rag bath. The lobby reeked of petroleum distillate, likely carpet cleaner. The desk clerks were really good at acting friendly while actually doing nothing for us. I hate that.This was the worst hotel stay I have ever had.

I will not stay here ever again. I choose to stay at this hotel based on reviews as well as wanting to create content for my tik tok as I review hotels and restaurants all around the US. The staff were good Chris was nice upon meeting and very helpful however the property itself lacked so much. Let’s start with the smell terrible not sure if it was mold or something in the vents but as soon as you walk The halls you’re hit with that sour smell. The room was clean however the toilet was clogged. We called front desk for repair and the next morning they did repair it. The bistro messed up our entire order and tried to place blame on my daughter for getting the wrong bag however that was the bags the kitchen person assured her belonged to us. Then came the complaints of noise which coincidentally felt like ok let’s label them as problematic because they have complaints of the property and food so we’ll say they are a problem to the other guest. Regardless we had two neurodivergent children with us why put us on the fourth floor knowing some kids cannot help making noise or walking hard. I will never stay here again.

Pool manager yelled at and scolded my 8yr old son on his birthday trip. Asked to speak to the manager and he proceeded to cuss. I would never recommend anyone with kids ever stay at this hotel. Upper management has still not returned my calls and is dodging my booking company to issue me a refund
