A good over nighter, bus stops are close by, and not far from the airport. Staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are on the larger side and the bathrooms are well furnished.

Made very welcome and Eias enthusiastically explained the new owner is in the process of updating everything. The room was clean and comfortable, Gatwick airport conveniently close by and there’s a little Sainsbury’s just over the road. Hopefully a new sign will go up soon so it’s easier to find. Would stay again. Thanks.

The property was conducive to stay and it’s exactly as in the picture. Staff’s service was great, parking was accessible.

I picked this hotel because i thought it was fairly close to the train station, it's not. It's about a 25 minute walk. The hotel is clean and quiet. The beds are comfortable, and the bathroom is very clean. We were on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator, but the concierge carried my suitcase up the 3 flights. The staff is very polite and helpful. I didn't realize there was a breakfast available, it is very basic though. If you want more, there is a Sainsbury's Express across the street. This is a good place to rest your head.

We checked in at 10 PM. At 10:20 PM, we were informed there was no hot water due to a broken water heater. Why weren't we notified immediately so we could have chosen a different hotel? Why wait until 20 minutes after check-in to tell us, especially when the front desk was just a short walk from our room? Furthermore, the towel rack in our room was broken, and both the armchair and the electric kettle were so dirty I didn't dare to use them. We ended up leaving the hotel before 9 AM the next morning. We are extremely disappointed with our stay.

Does exactly what it needs to do, clean, but not in the best shape, all the windows are holding on by one or 0 hinges, the sign letters are mostly missing(while not a big deal, kinda shows they dont put much if any effort into repairs)

The heating wasn’t working

My husband & I had to travel from the other end of the country to visit an elderly relative in the nearby hospital, and needed a reasonably-priced last-minute room for 2 nights. This fitted the bill perfectly, and I knew we'd made the right choice when I spoke to the Manager. What a lovely guy: friendly, honest, helpful, straightforward, and so easy to deal with. Many hotel managers could take a lesson from him. The hotel has only recently been bought by the present owners and needs refurbishment, but we knew that before we went, and the price of the rooms reflects it anyway. The beds were very comfortable, the room spacious, there was a fridge and a large TV, and it was a nice surprise to find a bath - so many hotels only have showers. There's free WIFI & parking, which is very helpful. Everything in the room was clean, even if not in the best condition (as already explained), but it didn't bother us in the slightest. Having previously stayed at the Premier Inn just along the road, which was much more expensive and no better in terms of sleep quality (and FAR less friendly!), we'd much sooner return to the London Gatwick Inn when we visit Horley/Salfords again. Warning! The hotel is not very easy to find due to the house numbers in the road being hard to spot and the hotel signage being quite small as you approach, so look out for the Sainsbury's Local/Petrol Station: the hotel is right opposite. Turn in where you see the No Stopping/Clearway road sign.

Stay away from this property at all cost! We had a late nite check in and our room was not cleaned at all before we got there. As soon as we walked in the room it had a weird small to it. Lets start with the bathroom. The glass cup on the bathroom sink still had crusty toothpaste spit inside and dripping the sides of the cup. The toilet had urine and pubic hairs on the seat. The toilet base was filthy with urine, dirt, hair and animal droppings. The floor around the sink and toilet was filthy. The window above the tub had clusters of mold and dirt all over. There was mold all around the tub and walls.The overhead shower didnt work at all. The tub spout spit out enough water for a birdbath. The towels were dirty and had moldy smell to them. In the livingroom and bedroom the carpet was dirty, sticky and had an unexplainable odor. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. They advertise that they serve breakfast, however zero breakfast was offered. We tried several times to reach the on site staff however no one responded. Needless to say, It was a horrible overnight stay. I would highly recommend that expedia remove this property from their listings.

I had a very comfortable one night stay here on way to the airport. The room was clean, and staff are super friendly and accommodating, I even got an upgrade to a nicer room.

My stay was great, the room was clean and the service was fantastic. They are in the process of modernizing the rooms so work is ongoing in areas.

The room was big with a comfortable bed and a good shower. Everything was very clean and staff very helpful. I’d definitely stay again.

Deluxe room included a living room area with a comfy sofa, much appreciated. Could use an additional chair for 3-4 person seating. Beds were clean and comfortable. Need to deal with bathroom mould issues and minor window maintenance. Overall, good stay close to Gatwick for the price.

Had a great stay at Gatwick Inn Hotel! Check-in was quick and easy, and I was really impressed by Eias at reception. He was super helpful with my (very big!) bags, gave me great recommendations for restaurants in the area, and genuinely went the extra mile to make me feel welcome. He even refused a tip, which says a lot about how seriously he takes good service. Really appreciated the warm and friendly experience — would definitely recommend staying here. The London Gatwick Inn was a disappointment. The reception area was okay but the room was run down and in a poor state. The desk was broken and taped together to stop it falling apart, the tv remote was dirty (I had to wipe it down myself), the bathroom toilet paper roll was broken and so the toilet paper was on the floor, there was mould in the bathroom and the chairs were dirty. It was close to Gatwick (only an 8 min bus ride away) but I would not recommend it. The management needs to do some simple TLC to ensure it looks presentable for guests.

the staff where very helpful, the room was so spacious even with a large king size bed and two singles bed there was loads of room to move about if you had a big family

Our flight landed earlier than check-in time and we were super lucky that our room was ready for us. They were so gracious and accommodating to allow us to go in early! Our room was larger than expected (for 7 people instead of 5) so we were very comfortable. We are so grateful to have found this place and will absolutely want to go back if we return to London! (They are 5min by car from the Gatwick Airport, about 20min by bus on line 400; and then a little more than 1h from London. We ate at a nice fish and chips restaurant nearby and there were other restaurants within walkable distance. Convenient location too!)

To be fair our room was clean. Noise from reception was a problem for us, as we were woken up a couple of times during the night. Our room was classed as deluxe but was on the small side and had a cracked sink. Outside the view to the garden was not nice. Seemed to be a dumping ground for old items.

Nice room but I couldn't work out how to use the shower as some of the fittings didn't seem to be working. The lamp above the bed wasn't workin. It was also very noisy in the night with people loudly going up and down stairs and in the reception area and cars going back and forth from the hotel gravel forecourt. The chap on the reception was very nice and welcoming on arrival but no-one was on duty during the night.

Wasnt sure what to expect after mixed reciews but we have a quadruple room. Was very good size Bayhroom was clean. Sheets all seemed clean and comfy beds. Taxi was £20 to airport at 3am

Great stay. Very spacious room. Staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. Eias went over and beyond in ensuring my laptops was returned after forgetting it at the hotel.

Eias was so kind & attentive during my check-in and throughout my stay. He even ordered me a taxi early the next morning back to the airport. I highly recommend this property! Thank you again, Eias🥰✈️

This is exactly what I expected for the money I paid - I had a single room with the shared bathroom which was fine. Would’ve liked to have had an extra hand towel for when I went to the bathroom & a hairdryer in the room would’ve been good. The member of staff who greeted me was excellent - friendly & helpful. Showed me to my room & carried my bag. Answered any questions I had & checked me in with no issues at all. The room was exactly what I needed for a 1 night stay. If you are looking for a cheaper hotel room, I would recommend this hotel.

Very convenient for Gatwick airport.

If you are staying here for one night, you will be fine! There is a bus that takes you to the airport so you don't have to waste a billion quid on a cab. There is a gas station with snacks and convenience items across the street. It is a convenient place to sleep if you have an early flight out of Gatwick, and the hotel manager is quite a cool dude.

As a place to stay before a flight, it's fine, though it is quite a walk from Horley if you want to go out there for dinner. The bus stop for the bus to the airport is a couple of minutes away. Incredibly friendly receptionist.

Basic stay , no onsite dining , friendly staff, near airport

Place has obviously seen better days, but when looking for a cheap bed for the night (allowing for parking cost) near Redhill / Reigate / Crawley/Gatwick you could do worse. Overall good value for money, inclusive breakfast basic, but what we wanted (Corn Flakes, toast and jam and tea/coffee) Get feeling they are trying to improve / update etc, so perhaps will be better next time!

Served it's purpose for an overnight stay for a flight . Rooms are dated but relatively clean . Breakfast was pathetic , but there is a Sainsbury's across the road .
