Komplett renoviertes, modernes Apartment mit Blick auf die Downtown Mall

So, this was the first trip my wife and I were able to take in more than four years where it’s just the two of us trying to getaway from a busy and hectic life raising two young kids. And this property let us down from the moment we showed up. The unit had not been cleaned prior to arrival. We were greeted by trash bags upon opening the front door, used towels hanging on racks in the bathroom, and the only bed was unmade. There was no hair dryer contrary to what the listing told us. There was expired food in the pantry. Oh yea, AND THE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT WAS BROKEN. On a weekend where the high temps were in the mid to high 80s. The HVAC company apparently whiffed on their ability to fix the A/C a few days prior to our arrival, and it’s clear no one followed up to confirm what the status of the A/C was before guests showed up. If they knew it was still broken and didn’t warn us ahead of time and allowed us to be blindsided by an 80 degree apartment greeting us as we walked in, that’s an even worse mistake. It couldn’t be any clearer that our experience was not a priority. As I’m writing this, I still haven’t even heard from the owner. Not a “Hey, so sorry that happened,” or “Is there anything we can do to try and make up for the inconvenience?..” Even though they had no issue contacting me to sign a renters agreement.I know there are great reviews about this place and maybe we just showed up during the perfect storm, but I’ve never had a vacation ruined so quickly.

The space was sparkling clean and just the perfect location for a girls weekend. Could not be closer to shops and restaurants. It’s a little busy at night, so bring earplugs for a perfect night’s sleep.
