Needs a lot of renovation. Clean room but no facilities. No room cleaning offered. Good proximity to restaurants and pubs. No room fridge.

Not bad for a single room but the shower handle was broken. While having my shower the water couldn’t leave the drain was so slow.

The room wasn’t clean and it’s very dated. Staff were fine. Driving into the hotel is quite tight and the car park is not well maintained. You don’t have to pay for parking if you’re a guest.

We were in basement. The room was basic. The bedside light keap coming on .we had to disconnect it . The shower was ok but shower head kept slipping down eventually I use sticking plasers to hole it up. Also shower tray was incline to fill up as water did not go down the drain quickly. Stairs were not cleaned for the two days we were there.

I don't really know where to begin with this review as this was possibly the worst hotel I have ever seen. The hotel is absolutely AWFUL - do not book this accommodation. It's more frequently used as emergeny accommodation by the council, than as a hotel. The hotel and it's surrounding building is in a truly shocking state, so much so that we didn't even want to check in. Discarded chairs, biked and piles of rubbish everywhere. The room was equally as poor and just wasn't somewhere you would feel safe staying in. We were not offered a refund through Hotels.com or by the hotel directly so had to take the hit and quickly find somewhere else for 2 nights, which was quite a challenge and extremely expensive. I urge you to read the other reviews thoroughly (I wish I had done this myself). The photos are incredibly misleading and the 4 star classification is an absolute travesty. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
