Enjoyed one night here. Hotel is easy to find if arriving by car as it is located just off an A road outside of Milton Keynes and has plenty of free parking. Considering it is near a busy road I found it very peaceful and quiet at night. The hotel has a luxury boutique type feel to it and the room was furnished to a good standard. The staff very helpful and professional. I ate at the hotel restaurant which I found very enjoyable and the food was to an excellent standard, if not a little pricy, but I wouldn't have found anything cheaper in the area that was as good as this to be honest so I was happy to pay it. I also ate breakfast here which was also very good and worth the extra £8. The hotel also has lots of outdoor seating and backs onto a golf course which would be good to use when the weather is nicer. I would stay here again for sure, no complaints.

Considering the price we paid, we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. The rooms were big and the bed comfortable and there was plenty of free parking. The staff were polite and attentive. The breakfast was very nice. Plenty of choice. Everything fresh and hot. Gluten free options were clearly labelled. Location is good. Just about a 8 min drive to centre and good links to London. Wembley was about 1 hour away.

Came for a big family meal and the food and service were great. All of the communal facilities were nice and really flexible for a big group. The main drawback for us was that despite advertising electric vehicle charging on-site, it doesn't say anywhere that this is operated by BP Pulse, and you'll need a card (which you have to pay an £8 monthly fee to get), which meant we couldn't use it. Having planned to charge on arrival, we could have been really stuck and there was nothing that the reception staff could do to help. The room was comfortable but a bit run-down, and ours looking out at the car park meant we weren't able to open the blinds at all without being fully visible to everyone outside. We were also located at the very beginning of the hallway, and the soundproofing isn't great so we heard every time someone opened a door outside.

I stay here every time I come to Milton Keynes and really like it. It’s always very comfortable and welcoming. I do wish that they would get their car charger fixed though!

Everything was really good. I didn’t dine here but in all respects the staff were helpful and very polite. The EV chargers on site did not work and looked as though they hadn’t for a while. That needs urgent attention.

Only booked as wanted to use car charger which was listed on the website and hotels.com. Turned up, didn't work, tried everything and staff just said nothing they can do as on their land but now owned. Only reason i stayed here was for a charger. Wish i stayed elsewhere. Hotel ok but this was a sore point especially as i contacted the day before and they didn't tell me they had issues. Even though when i checked out i expressed my disappointment and was told by a man he was sorry and he had asked about these problems before but would ask again. Doesn't help me now though!

Absolutely wonderful hotel - for the price you really cannot fault it. Clean, comfortable, food was nice, staff were very friendly. The shower was absolutely wonderful. Quiet rooms. Nice little studio gym. It's also just a little bit out of MK so it's nice and peaceful too.

The hotel is really nicely, the venue itself is located in a nice area and the venue is clean and tidy. The only downside that is a big negative point is the cleaness of the rooms, that was not done ,they just replaced the towels and done the bed, the carpwt wasn't vacuum, basin and toilet wasn't clean at all. Also for a 4 star hotel i was expecting a fridge in the room.

Room had an awful dirty smell which did not go despite having the window open all day and night. Long black hair fell out of a towel when opened and was also in the bathroom. Room did not feel it had been cleaned Bedding did not feel or smell fresh

Hotel and room were clean and well presented. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately the shower drain was partially blocked and drained very slowly. There was evidence of people frequently smoking in the room indicated by thread bare carpet under the bedroom window and cigarette butts on the roof outside. Hairdryer was clogged with dust and was wired into the desk making it difficult to use. Despite being told at check in that they were having issues with the terrestrial TV channels but Netflix was still working I couldn't get the Netflix app to open on the TV. Bed was comfortable and the A/C was very appreciated in the muggy weather. Would stay again for future events at Silverstone.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is ideal, it’s quiet yet only a short drive away from central Milton Keynes. Everything was very clean, the service from all staff was excellent, the room was very comfortable with all amenities you could need and plenty of free parking. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Location good. Easy to find. Staff friendly on reception desk. Problem with room. Had no heating. Reported on 2 day but was told been fixed when it wasn’t. Moved us to another room. Problem with the 2nd room. Air conditioning broke, leaking water above 2 electric sockets. No communication back from staff. Rooms needs to be checked for good maintenance before renting out.

Sadly the stay here wasn’t what I expected. The room was still a mess from the previous guest. We were promptly moved to another room where the tv didn’t work. They had made us aware of some TVs only working on Netflix but this one didn’t work at all. A fair gesture of free breakfast was accepted but still not good for a hotel of its name. But overall a good nights rest.

Comfy hotel perfect for a couple of nights. Free parking and friendly staff. The bed was a bit smaller than expected but still comfortable. Only real complaint is that the room doors are noisy when being closed, so when people leave early or come in late, the noise of the doors wakes you up.

It is a very attractive looking hotel and the main reception and bar area are lovely but on my arrival the receptionist didn't even smile at me and answered my questions with one word answers and just handed me the key and sat down - really unfriendly, especially as I was on my own and it is a big deal travelling on your own. The bedroom was clean but the mattress was about 4 inches smaller than the bed base and there was absolutely nothing in the room to welcome you or tell you what time things were, Wi-Fi password etc. It was only when I happened to turn the tv on later on that I found a whole menu of options and info! The restaurant was pleasant and the staff were friendly in there and the breakfast was good.

Was working in Milton Keynes and booked the Mercure for one night as a fast ball. On arrival was impressed with the reception area. It was bery inviting. Went to book on and the receptionist (Ann-Marie) was lovely and polite. Got my key card and went to my room. The room was clean, fresh and airy. Went down for food and opted to eat in the bar area rather than the restaurant just for ease. Food was superb and very well priced. Retired after eating. The bed was comfy and had a good night sleep. The next morning was so impressed with everything and all the staff I had encountered booked another night. Was working in Milton Keynes and booked the Mercure for one night as a fast ball. On arrival was impressed with the reception area. It was bery inviting. Went to book on and the receptionist (Ann-Marie) was lovely and polite. Got my key card and went to my room. The room was clean, fresh and airy. Went down for food and opted to eat in the bar area rather than the restaurant just for ease. Food was superb and very well priced. Retired after eating. The bed was comfy and had a good night sleep. The next morning was so impressed with everything and all the staff I had encountered booked another night. Great service from Mel on reception and the bar staff. Some rooms need a general fix up but overall it is a clean and friendly hotel. Stayed a few times and I can’t say we’ve had any bad issues. See you again soon.

Fantastic staff, breakfast was really good with freshly cooked food. The chef has been there 31 years, he’s a credit to the hotel, reception staff very friendly aswell as chambermaids all very professional and an enjoyable comfortable stay

Service in restaurant slack - had to go up to concierge to get menus, order something a number of times (even when empty). Salt and pepper - buy more sets for your tables! Things continually running out at breakfast without staff anticipating it (coffee machine, milk, butter, coffee mugs, plates etc). No coffee in room (or only decaff) so had to go down to reception first thing in morning to go get some (last thing you feel like when staying in a hotel). Lamps in rooms - one not working one side, reading light not working other side. Etc. Just badly run and badly managed, and no apologies at any point at all for the shortcomings. Clueless

A good base to visit Bletchley Park or the golf course next door. Easy to get to, albeit a little out of town, but fine if driving or taking a cab. Hotel a little dated, but very clean and comfortable. Staff are excellent, very friendly and effective. A very good breakfast with plenty of choice and good quality. All in all a great value stay and would return.

Considering the price we paid, we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. The rooms were big and the bed comfortable and there was plenty of free parking. The staff were polite and attentive. The breakfast was very nice. Plenty of choice. Everything fresh and hot. Gluten free options were clearly labelled. Location is good. Just about a 8 min drive to centre and good links to London. Wembley was about 1 hour away.

Great room, clean and spacious for our needs. Stayed there while attending a wedding at the Abbey Hill golf club. 10 minutes from Milton Keynes shopping and food outlets. Golf club has footgolf and crazy golf for those who want to entertain the family too.

We found Mercure Milton Keyes well appointed and a good price. The rooms are tasteful decorated and a good size, including the bathroom. We did not use the restaurant aside from breakfast and we enjoyed the buffet. We were there for a performance at The Stables and it was only 13 mins away so will stay again in the future.

This was our second stay at this hotel and we were very disappointed. I had prepaid for the room, but they went to charge me again until I mentioned it was paid. I booked a bottle of wine to be put in our room for my husband's birthday the following day - it was written in a book on reception but no wine was there when we got back to the room the next day. When i enquired at reception I was told to ask the bar staff, blank looks. Breakfast was a big disappointment- we were not late down but the selection was very depleted, and not refilled. The scrambled egg was runny slop and there were never any bowls fruit / yoghurt. The coffee machine was temperamental and not much choice. When i went to check out, the young man on reception was busy on his mobile phone. He glanced up briefly for me to tell him the room number, put the payment through for bits charged to the room, then went back to his phone!!!! no conversation whatsoever as to how our stay was. To be honest, we will not be returning any time soon, very disappointed.

We love love loved this hotel! Stayed the night before a festival at the bowl and it was a great price, especially considering there was a big event happening. The member of staff who checked us in was really friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were really clean and spacious, and we were so thankful for the brilliant air con as we were there during a heatwave. At midnight I went to use the water fountain to fill up mine and my partner's water bottles but it was broken, so the reception staff kindly filled them up for us from the bar. It was the perfect rest we needed before our long day the next day. Probably the best hotel I've stayed at in the UK, and we will definitely be staying again for the festival next year.

The hotel was so clean. The lady at reception went above and beyond to help us with tax’s etc. The breakfast was excellent and the chef at the hot food station checked to see if everything was ok and was very attentive. Would recommend stay here.

Reception staff welcoming and pleasant, they changed my room quickly without a fuss, as I had been put in a double instead of twin. Dining room staff at evening meal were helpful and attentive, meal was nice albeit a bit pricey. At breakfast the coffee machine broke during service, only basic flask coffee available. Be mindful there are no lifts. Helpful Receptionist (Monique) tried to change rooms, to no avail. August booking and no fridges in rooms (only in rooms with a jacuzzi has a fridge!). Had to request toilet rolls and clean towels and were handed to us at the door. One of the 'clean' towels was badly stained all over. Also first night 'grease' like stains on sheet. We noticed that the cleaning staffs' toilet brush (a used one) was in too close a proximity to the room teas. There are no toilet brushes in the rooms. An accomodating breakfast chef. Breakfast very nice although there was a dead 'fly ant' in my coffee. I have to assume it was from the coffee machine piping. The duty restaurant manager did not apologise or appeared concerned!! The main let down was housekeeping; we returned from the festival in the late evening and room had not been attended to and the bed remained unmade - so disappointing. In fairness when addressed to the hotel, they actioned the house keeping matter immediately. Would I stay here again??
