The room was small but comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The view of Semmering and the valley below was beautiful. If travelling by train, ask about access to the regional RUFbus for a low-cost/free shuttle to the hotel and other destinations in the region.

The hotel is very old-fashioned and in need of renovation. The pictures on the website look much better than the reality. Unfortunately, the wellness area was quite disappointing – there was an unpleasant smell, so we stayed only briefly and did not return. On the positive side, the hotel is located very close to the ski lift and offers a 50% discount on the ski pass, which is a great benefit. The scrambled eggs and coffee were excellent
