The man on reception was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and roomy. The shower in the bathroom was really nice, a nice strength and heat. Had a hot breakfast which was excellent, well cooked, good choice and a very nice pancake maker too. Would definitely stay again, was impressed with everything. Plus the car parking was at a reduced rate when staying at the hotel.

If you're planning to stay here, do not eat in the restaurant. We ordered pizzas which turned up stodgy and undercooked. Other people were sending food back uncooked in the middle. The staff were doing their best but there clearly weren't enough of them and they didn’t appear trained. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Checked in around 21:00. No dramas, helpful staff. Payment for parking (discounted to £10 for hotel guests) made at a machine opposite. Plenty of parking available when we stayed, despite it not being a particularly large car park. Room was tiny for a family with the sofa bed out (smaller than a Premier Inn, for example), but we only stayed a few hours. Breakfast started at 04:00, so we were able to grab something, but it was very much just a croissant in a paper bag, so not ideal.

This was a quick overnight before leaving from East Midlands early the next morning. The receptionist was very helpful and the VERY early morning breakfast was most welcome. Two things: the hard floors (not the carpets) had been cleaned with something sticky which made walking on them squeaky and unpleasant; secondly, although clean, the room smelt as if it needed a good clean.

Our stay was okay, the room was very cold and took a while to heat up and as we arrived late we would have appreciated an ambient temperature. We were in room 222 and there were blood stains beneath the shower on the floor? The breakfast was good. The leather seats in the lounge have seen better days there was a chuck of leather and foam stuffing out of one if them. The staff seemed nice.

I am a Holiday Inn fan but I was disappointed by how this hotel is starting to look shabby and there was a distinct smell of drains in the room ( I pointed this out to the staff who were very apologetic)

The coldest hotel room I’ve ever entered. Yes the heating kicked in within 5-10 minutes but you also don’t expect to experience that when you arrive It was okay because we could go to the bar for 30 minutes but it would have been an issue had I got there late and needed to go straight to bed. Staff were helpful and brought an additional heater and the hotel is clean and quiet.

Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Close to the airport with a free regular shuttle bus. Just check your airport parking isn’t the other side of the terminal like mine was! We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. Will definitely be returning- a wonderful start to the holiday.

Perfect no frills hotel for an early morning flight. Breakfast started at 4am and was a pretty decent continental style - fresh croissants, yogurt, cereral, fruit, etc. Staff was super friendly. There's a bus that goes to the airport right outside, or you can walk (took me maybe 15/20 minutes). Would stay again.

A good stay for the price when you just need somewhere to sleep and in a convenient location. On arrival we found the gentleman on reception rather odd, not much personality or any customer pleasantries. The bar area looked ok for a drink, but having sat down in the restaurant for something to eat we ended up leaving and going elsewhere as it was so basic and depressing. The room however (twin on 2nd floor) was fine, and good value £80 per night). The beds were slightly hard for us, but fine. Great to have air con. Like most hotels the room was not set up practically for women to do their make up and hair 🙄. The water pressure was quite low in the bathroom (good job I didn’t need to wash my hair!), Great to have an iron and ironing board in the room. Breakfast was included and was ‘ok’. But overall it was fine for a cheap place to lay our heads, so long as you have no expectations.

A good stay for the price when you just need somewhere to sleep and in a convenient location. On arrival we found the gentleman on reception rather odd, not much personality or any customer pleasantries. The bar area looked ok for a drink, but having sat down in the restaurant for something to eat we ended up leaving and going elsewhere as it was so basic and depressing. The room however (twin on 2nd floor) was fine, and good value £80 per night). The beds were slightly hard for us, but fine. Great to have air con. Like most hotels the room was not set up practically for women to do their make up and hair 🙄. Staff very friendly. Hotel clean. Only one thing not understood. 4 people arriving but only 3 towel in room.its 3rd hotel (same brand hotel) and only 3 towels in bathroom.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking with a discounted rate. Evening menu was OK and the food and drink prices were fair. Room rate was good and included breakfast and the breakfast was tasty. Would use again in the future.
