Woodlands Hall

We decided on this hotel as we were in the area for a karting event for my son and had to be up early for it. On check in the lady said there was entertainment on until midnight and our room was right above it. I said seone should have let us know this on booking as I would have have cancelled being up so early. She said I am sorry. On entering the room, I had booked a twin room as it said 2 doubles. They were extra large singles and really uncomfortable..the shower room was ok. But the bath was big enough for a 4 year old and the cold water tap didn't work so had to use the shower to fill it. The room was so warm too. I have to say this totally ruined our stay as we only got 5 hours sleep. Never again

The hotel was beautiful and the Bedrooms were so spacious and beautifully decorated.Breakfast was cooked fresh to order. Really enjoyed our stay .

Excellent staff, beautiful building and decor, everything was very clean and well maintained - our room was absolutely wonderful! We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both were delicious! Service in the bar was super friendly and the cocktails were very tasty! The only thing I would say is that the soundproofing between our room and the bar wasn’t great, so we could hear everything. It didn’t bother us at all as we had earplugs, and it quietened down from about 10:30pm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and felt it was very good value.

Could do with better showers in the bathroom

From the minute we arrived, we was welcomed by amazing staff. The place is beautiful and the hotel room was perfect. Bar manager Will did an amazing job and polite. The food was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend and will definitely be back in the new year.
