I was very upset to learn that the pool was not available for use. I booked this property specifically for the pool. My son was playing in a tournament & we were looking for some down time in the pool, after the games.

Pros: Nice, safe property, OK breakfast. Cons: They make you pay $16 for their plentiful parking which does not seem necessary.

What I did not like was the fact that they are charging 15 dollars a day for parking. 😡

The pool was closed, and they changed for parking

The location was off the beaten path so it was not a lot of foot traffic. It seems strange that they charge for parking. Especially considering that they have a huge parking lot. With more than enough parking spaces.

Property is nice. It is in a business center so it is not busy at night or on weekends. They charge for parking for the hotel and local businesses, which is insane bc it is an open parking lot with tons of parking, just another grab for money.

Room was good. Clean. 4 sets of towels is appreciated. Breakfast was a good selection and stocked welll. The hallway carpet on the room floor could use a regular vacuuming. Not very clean. Parking lot had a lot of trash. Not sure why so many people can’t dispose of it properly. Charging for parking at $15 a day is a sham.

Called before booking to make sure pool would be open. Was assured it was open until 10:30. Arrived at 9:00 and was told it was closed. Doesn’t reopen until 5:00 pm!

I stay here because it’s safe, and its location is conveniently located to things like Yankee stadium, the Bronx Zoo, and Stew Leonard’s..all great experiences for the kids. The rooms are always clean. However, if anyone else is checking in or out at the same time as you, you can be sure the wait takes some time. The pool has a new rule that it is no longer open until 5pm and stays open only until 9. If you have kids, especially young ones, finding things to do until that time is challenging. Then you have to go to the front desk to sign a paper and ask them to unlock the pool door while in your bathing suit…super uncomfortable and inconvenient. The pool was so foggy you couldn’t see to the bottom and pretty cold for an indoor pool. Lastly, there is a parking fee on top of already paying for the room. Just an additional $15 but to me is ridiculous considering there is a large parking lot with plenty of spots to spare. Not sure I’ll stay again.

Check-in was fast, easy, staff is respectful, friendly. I've stayed in this hotel many times, with very little to no complaints. My room being filthy, has never been one of them, I stay here because my room has always been reasonably clean, outdated but clean. I was given a dingy, dark, dirty room. It smelled horrible, the carpet had huge stains everywhere. I called and was given another room, it was in way better condition, they apologized, but upon closer look, it still had issues. They changed all the lighting to daylight and the rooms are darker and dont feel cozy. Beds were uncomfortable and food was just ok. Parking used to be free, it is now to my surprise $15 per day. After this experience, I will now be staying elsewhere. I value cleanliness over most anything, i can overlook an uncomfortable bed, but the room and common areas must be clean, otherwise, is the bed/pillows/linens really clean?

There was a smell in the room, I am not sure if it was the carpet or lack of use. The bathroom was spotless however. Breakfast was good, and the reception area. I liked that it had a bar

Friendly staff. Great breakfast in the morning. Was questionable if bedding had “clean” sheets. Odor as soon as you come off elevator was awful.

We booked three rooms. The hotel smelled mildewy. There was hair and two bathrooms out of the three rooms we booked one room took extra long wasn’t ready at 3:30 when we checked in so we had to wait for that one but when we checked into that room, I don’t know what they were taking long to clean because it was not clean. It was red stuff on one of the towels on the bed. There was red stuff and hair all over the shower do not think I Will be staying here again

Very Nice, very Clean, Safe Location, Friendly Staff, and Good Breakfast.

They were stains on the Chase chair, the floor and the bed wa just covers thrown on on a rush. I kept my socks and shoes on at all times and used a beach towel to lay on in bed. This was absolutely gross. Ice machines on all levels were broke went down to the lobby where they filled the ice bucket halfway I could’ve stayed a much inferior hotel For much much less.

Breakfast excellent, room cleanliness poor.

Room was clean and comfortable with a very spacious bathroom. Hotel decor is updated/contemporary, and breakfast was great; diferent options were available each of the 3 days we stayed, and it was kept well stocked for the entire breakfast duration. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our only difficulty was the $240 deposit that was put on my card at check-in; after carefully budgeting our family's trip (on my teacher salary) and prepaying all of our lodging, this added unexpected stress. The deposit appeared as a pending charge, effectively making the card unuseable without transferring a huge sum of money from another account. I hope the hotel (and/or the company) considers a change in policy that is more welcoming such as putting a card number on file in case of incidentals rather than assuming that every guest will cause damage to the facility. (The 4 other hotels we stayed at during our East Coast road trip did just that.)

AC didn’t work well but they accommodated with a fan. Then shower broke and wouldn’t turn on and they didn’t have more rooms of our type but provided us a room to shower in. The only downfall was that housekeeping kept trying to come in the room BEFORE checkout more than once even with the sign on the door. Front desk staff was nice.

Our first room was far from the elevator all the way around the hallway not to mention the hallway that our room was on was freezing including the room so we just thought ok turn the heat on so we did and left went out for dinner thinking we were gonna come back to a nice toasty room but no the room was still blowing cold air so they switched out the room so it wasn’t terrible

Very clean and friendly staff. Check in was very easy. The only reason it wasn't 5 stars is bc it was extremely noisy. Ppl were really loud ealry in the morning and dogs were barking late at night. Other than that my stay was great

The WiFi kept dropping off which made it difficult for me to do my work. The hotel staff were kind but not so accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was good. I usually travel on my birthday, which I advise the hotels that I am staying at. I am either greeted by staff stating happy birthday or a birthday banner in my room. I did not receive any birthday greetings. The beds were comfortable and the room was quite comfy.

Had a great stay while on vacation with family! Hotel is perfect for the NYC area if you are traveling by car. The hotel is nice, spacious and quiet. Rooms have a good standard and the breakfast buffet is ok. I do wish the pool opening hours were longer (only open in the afternoon, while we were out exploring). All in all a nice stay!

Very nice quite a lot of space

The pillows were terrible and gone beyond usage for a hotel. There was also a dirty one left in the cupboard with stains from previous guests on it. The floor above our room was very noisy, which meant the insulation is not very good, which contributed to noise disturbance in our room.

Very pleasant stay for one night in this hotel. Bed was particularly comfortable, and there was a lounge chair and a good desk with plenty of outlets. Also appreciated the two large nightstands. Weird that the TV is positioned to one side so you have to turn your head from the bed to watch, but that's a small quibble.

I enjoyed my time here. The staff were very polite and nice. It’s fairly quiet and I felt safe and at peace.

tHE CLEANING STAFF DID MY ROOM 2 TIMES DURING MY STAY AND BOTH TIMES NEVER CHANGED THE SHEETS. THE ALSO LEFT THE DOOR UNLOACKED THE SECODN TIME, AND THE PROPERTY MANAGER WAS UNRESPONSIVE.. THE FRONT DESK STAFF WERE RESPONSIVE, BUT THE ISSUE IS PASSED TO THE MANAGER. i WAITIED FOR HIM , HE WAS BUSY. i CALLED HE WAS NOT AVAILABLE , AND NEVER RETURNED THE CALL.

The staff is efficient & courteous. Just would like to know beforehand about a deposit. Other than that, the stay there was nice

Positive review We got free soda water and chips upon check in The suite was nice and was comfortable. I loved the microwave sink and refrigerator in the kitchen area it was great for the little one. It was clean and the property was maintained. Negative review We arrived at check in time but was checked in late cause the room wasn't ready yet. Ashamed cause we paid extra for a suite. We went to the pool but it was not heated and there was no bathroom near by to change or use. Breakfast was good but it was packed so go early.

I was very happy with my stay at this Hampton Inn & Suites. When I checked in Tania was extremely helpful with all the questions I asked, and she met all my expectations of a person that loves her job and is willing to help the customer. She’s a great representation of the Hampton Inn and suites of Yonkers. Six star person and I will gladly come back to stay there when I come see my family again.

Nice property! Very clean and welcoming. We checked in late and were in line behind several others checking in with only one clerk on at that time. She seemed a little overwhelmed but handled everyone very well. I hadn't noticed that parking was $15/day, and she explained this very well, but note this is in the small print when making reservations. At first we were assigned a room that was already occupied but this was rectified quickly. We got some bottles of water at the front desk and settled in for a peaceful rest. The breakfast is a typical hotel fare. This location worked very well for our trip.

The property was so clean! We saw them cleaning often! The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful! Especially the manager Sofia! I had a death in the family and she was so accommodating to me. The rest of the staff always gave me a greeting! Breakfast was great! I will definitely stay again if given the opportunity.

Check in was quick. After a long flight from CA to NY it was nice to be greeted by friendly staff. Breakfast was good, good variety, very friendly staff. Room with king size bed was a good size room, only complaint would be the pillows very flat. Reason we wont return next week when we fly back - the second day of our stay we left the room about 1 pm and housekeeping were right outside our door when we left. We were out the whole day went to a yankees game. Went to take a shower and no clean towels, bed was niot made. Room had garbage not tajen out so smelled like food.. it was about 11 pm. I called front desk Rebecca was very rude. Told me i could go to front desk to get clean towels. Who when on vacation wants to go to a room that I need to clean and make the bed. She said if you stay more then a couple nights they dont clean room. I asked not even take out garbage or bring clean towels? Rebecca had a rude attitude and saiid its in key card envelope. Inside was a tiny paper that was typed up insert that said housekeeping not done daily. Yet on the bathroom mirror was a sticker that states hampton inn policy they clean room daily. That was enough firvus to go back to staying at Marriott.

I recently stayed at Hampton Inn and Suites, and while my experience was generally positive, there was a hiccup at check-in. My room wasn't available at the scheduled 3 PM check-in time, which was inconvenient. However, I want to highlight the professionalism and kindness of the front desk staff, who went above and beyond to accommodate me during the wait. They were attentive, communicative, and ensured I was comfortable while waiting for my room. Their excellent service made the delay much more manageable. Overall, I appreciate the hospitality and effort of the staff, though I hope the hotel improves its room readiness for future guests. A smooth check-in process would make an already welcoming experience even better

Large spacious rooms. My family of four was very comfortable. Hotel was clean, staff was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful, and area was quiet. My issues: it was too far from public transportation, and breakfast could have had more fresh fruit options. Would definitely recommend if you have a car.

They did not have a non-pork option each day, but eggs and toast sufficed. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and quiet area. The pool was ok, but so many people in there that it wasn’t for us. A good value for the two nights and vicinity to the areas we needed to go to.

This was a great hotel to stay at. Most hotels I walk into are just basic standard but this one makes you kinda smile when you first walk in. It’s very aesthetically pleasing. Decent space compared to many other hotels. Great parking. However, it may not be the best location if you’re not driving. Worth the money. I would definitely come again.

quiet and a little out of the way, but in a secluded safe way

Great staff helped us when were were in a pinch for a hotel. We were able to parm at the hotel while we traveled into Manhatten. Near the greystone station.

Close to restaurants and shopping. Easy parking. Room was fantastic. Bathroom was very nice. Very clean. Very impressed.

Breakfast was by far the best part.

The breakfast staff did not do a good job in keeping the items replenish. Guests were constantly waiting for items to be placed in the warmer. The actual breakfast area was small and cramp in order to get their items. Everything else went well. Will visit again.
