Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: this is a great retreat within walking distance of all Charlevoix has to offer. The rooms are clean and well equipped. Second time staying here and it is the best in the area.

Immediately after seeing the condition of our room we requested to cancel the second night reservation & were told it’s a SIXTY DAY ADVANCE NOTICE cancellation policy. Our request was declined. No locks on bedroom or bathroom doors. Pet hair was all over stained patio cushions. Bedroom tv was a small computer monitor which is a mute point due to mangers failure to make it operational.

Great location - central to town -- and on site help that was congenial and service oriented. However, the accommodations are certainly dated with a wooden at water damaged surround wrapping the tub in need of refinish, a non-functioning wall clock, a television that would not function properly and exposed, wire-nutted, line-voltage wiring powering the kitchenette sink light. Exposed wiring - this is not a third-world country!

we loved it! location was great, place was clean and staff was pleasant. we will be back.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo NEEDED several updates/ repairs: The hall light only had 1 of 3 lights working. The bed was very lumpy and the sheets felt like plastic very uncomfortable. The closet frame was separating from the wall. All the cabinets in the bathroom and kitchen were pinch points. There were no knobs or handles on any of the doors. The sugar packets for coffee were lumps (old). One of the kitchen table chairs had a broken leg that was ready to fall off. The patio had an musty odor. One positive, the front desk associates were very pleasant.
