The Reading Rooms

This is an amazing B&B that you can use as a base for exploring Hadrian's Wall. Brain & Gill are great hosts. The room is great with a kettle, tea and coffee. Breakfast is self-service, and you have a nice selection of cereals, fruit, juice, milk, bread, coffee, and tea. All that you need to get started. You can use the kitchen later in the day if you want to cook your own meals instead of the outside option. Fully recommend.

Absolutely lovely room, very simple but had everything you need, breakfast was self service from a great selection. Will definitely use again.

Have stayed there before - pre Covid. Very helpful owner, Brian, gives you the freedom of the place and its facilities. Kitchen is well stocked with a variety of breakfast foods. It's just like a home from home.

Lovely B&B in beautiful Hexham. Great host, very friendly and breakfast was relaxed and self service. Would definitely stay here again. 😊
