I proffered this hotel to the many expensive ones I visited, including the Raddison for a few reasons. Djerba is already a very safe island, and my stay at Rodes wasn't interupted by unpleasant security checks. Their resturant and bar is also open to the public which meant if i wanted friends to visit on the premeises i could still hang out with them if they were at a separate hotel. Also, I'd recommend Rodes in the winter months too, because the sun hits the pool still but the design of the building itself shields you from the wind. At a few of the bigger resorts I could not sunbathe at all because the wind was too cold despite the sun being British summer standard.
