A very homely property with friendly and helpful staff. The bed was really comfortable and wow what a fantastic breakfast. A pretty garden with a lovely scent as you sit and enjoy the view. We would definitely return to Balincourt Guest House again.

Stunning flowers at the front of the building set the scene for this lovely little gem. The property and the grounds are clean, well kept, the owners clearly take great pride in their business. Little touches in the bedroom, bottled water, chocs plus the usual tea/ coffee facilities. Fantastic location, easy to get to town/ beach. On a main road served well by local transport, but not at all noisy. A lovely stay, thank you.

As reported TV not functioning, parking extremely tight for my SUV. Overall impression house is worn out, a bit of rust in one place, cracked or missing silicon in others. Staff very good and friendly. Don’t think Expedia should call this five star, there is no restaurant, just drinks bar and breakfast

Beautiful property with large, clean room and a nice beverage and breakfast lounge. Walking distance to town. Stocked with teas, coffee, water, cookies, hot chocolate, and chocolates. Would definitely recommend!

Booked a Superior double room. The main room blinds were broke so we could not let any daylight into our room. Bathroom sink plug kept getting stuck. Bath water temperature would not decrease so had to use kettle to cool the bath to a safe level before bathing. Not really superior in my opinion.The host was pleasant and serving staff friendly. Never saw anybody manning the bar in the evening so no nightcaps!

Harps and Ricky run a fantastic 5 star hotel. There is nothing you could complain about from friendliness, room, food, bar, parking. It was a magnificent 5 day break. There is no way that we would not return.

A real hidden gem!! My wife and I had a great weekend break to celebrate her 60th birthday at the Balincourt Guest House. The whole place has a lovely vibe very clean with great service at breakfast with loads of options. We definitely return.

The staff were awesome ,extremely helpful! Be prepared to climb stair to get to and from room. My room was lovely, clean and comfortable! Nice size roomy!! Quiet The breakfast options great!! I enjoy walking so location is good!

Very impressed with this guest house. We parked the car and used buses (located just outside) to get about Bournemouth and Christchurch. Bus service very good. Everything about this b&b was of high standard. The only problem one might encounter was the noise of the main road. We were at the front of the house. If the window was closed it was not a problem but on a hot night it could be.

We have just returned home from an excellent 5 night stay at Balincourt. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The accomodation was top class and the breakfast options very good. The location couldn't have been more convenient with bus stops adjacent and a pub opposite.

Very impressed with this guest house. We parked the car and used buses (located just outside) to get about Bournemouth and Christchurch. Bus service very good. Very impressed with this guest house. We parked the car and used buses (located just outside) to get about Bournemouth and Christchurch. Bus service very good. Everything about this b&b was of high standard. The only problem one might encounter was the noise of the main road. We were at the front of the house. If the window was closed it was not a problem but on a hot night it could be.

Beautiful property with large, clean room and a nice beverage and breakfast lounge. Walking distance to town. Stocked with teas, coffee, water, cookies, hot chocolate, and chocolates. Would definitely recommend!

A lovely stay. We have stopped before. It is conveniently situated between Bournemouth and Boscombe and not far from the seafront. Always a warm welcome and a comfortable room and a breakfast to look forward to.

Exceptional stay. Room was spacious and decor was to a very high standard. Very clean and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice of hot and cold food. Quiet location and would highly recommend.

We have just returned home from an excellent 5 night stay at Balincourt. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The accomodation was top class and the breakfast options very good. The location couldn't have been more convenient with bus stops adjacent and a pub opposite.

Breakfast excellent choice and cooked fresh. Room very spacious only complaint the bath very high so my husband struggled to get in to shower after a hip operation.

A real hidden gem!! My wife and I had a great weekend break to celebrate her 60th birthday at the Balincourt Guest House. The whole place has a lovely vibe very clean with great service at breakfast with loads of options. We definitely return.

Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing and fell well below our expectations, particularly given the price we paid. The room was very tired and run-down, with cleaning standards that were simply not acceptable. There were large clumps of dust on the lampshade, and the room generally felt grimy and poorly maintained. The bedsheets and pillows were noticeably yellowed, and the bathroom also left us questioning the overall cleanliness of the accommodation. The shower barely functioned, and we were only provided with one towel between two guests. Breakfast was equally disappointing. Despite being told that breakfast was served until 10:30 am, we arrived before 10:00 am only to be told, quite rudely, that the kitchen was closed. As a result, we were left without breakfast. The only real positive was the parking. Unfortunately, this did little to compensate for the poor condition of the room, inadequate facilities and disappointing service. Overall, we were appalled by what was offered for the price and left feeling that the accommodation represented very poor value for money. We would not return and would strongly encourage prospective guests to consider these issues before booking.

Room was small hot on road so noisy Shower was useless small hard to use etc etc For price paid larger room with a bath ? I sometimes think Expedia guest gets the worst room in the hotel? Maybe due to the price then it discounted their paying, but I’ve seen a change recently where hotels only use large websites but like a monopoly.
