The main bed was firm but comfortable. Parking can be interesting, if the three spots directly outside are occupied there are other car parks within a short distance 25 - 50 meters but the area is quiet so we could pull up outside the garlic rooms and drop our bags in and then park up. We had a little difficulty setting up the sofa bed but putting the mattress on the floor gave us a third bed. We would happily stay again. Thank you Garlic rooms.

We enjoyed our stay at the Wild Garlic Rooms. Initially we were disappointed there was no parking onsite but we found parking places in Nailsworth that were 23 hours free parking and just a short walk. We would definitely go back but this time we would book a ground floor self catering room.

We stayed as a family in the nest. The place was really lovely and clean. The complimentary breakfast was also great and replenished the following day. Could do with blackout blinds/curtains as it was very bright, but that is all. The owner was lovely and really helpful too. Will come back!

Nice village and nice place to stay overall. Perhaps we caught them on a bad day as the room wasn' particularly clean and was quite musty smelling. The only was extremely helpful and moved us and, while better it felt like it needed a deep clean and a little TLC.

So the big let down for this place was the smell of sewage from the bathroom which put us off from using the shower and luckily closing the bathroom door did stop the smell but we stayed only for one night. The continental breakfast was okay. Bed was nice and the room was warm enough with plenty of heating options

Comfortable apartment in a good location to local amenities. Some surfaces needed a better clean and some lights in the bedroom weren’t working. Over bath shower wasn’t great and needs attention as very leaky and doesn’t stay in position. Anti-slip bath mat would also be a useful addition. Minor issues overall and easy to resolve. Supplied breakfast was all local produce and very good.

Second visit to Wild Garlic Rooms, this time we stayed in The Loft, lovely warm room, lots of space, everything we needed was in the room, comfy bed and chairs, continental breakfast was lovely replenished for our second morning.

Lovely large room with huge en-suite bathroom. Great continental breakfast. Location was ideal and surrounding area was very quaint. Would stay here again for sure. Only issue was WiFi wasn’t working.

Mathew and Bella were wonderful. You can tell that they truly love Nailsworth and the Wild Garlic Rooms. Our stay in the Cotswolds was perfect, in most part because of their care! What a great hotel.

The check in was really simple and straight forward with instructions given prior to the visit. Upon arrival we were all really pleaaed to find the rooms as cosy and as comfy as they looked in rhe pictures. It was a great placw to stay in the centre of Nailsworrh and use as a base for exploring the surrounding areas.

Hotels didn’t pass on that we needed a two single beds so when we asked the staff at the hotel to change this they refused this I had to sleep on a chair and had about 30 minutes sleep

Over bath shower wasn’t great and needs attention as very leaky and doesn’t stay in position. Anti-slip bath mat would also be a useful addition. Minor issues overall and easy to resolve. Supplied breakfast was all local produce and very good.

In an ideal world some features could do with improving . Continental breakfast is OK but very basic , rice crispiest/sweet muffins/oranges etc so perhaps coming to an agreement with a local cafe to offer a cooked breakfast within the price might be an option , Or even pay a chef to cover three hours in your own recommended restaurant to provide for room clients . the Tv remote ‘ up/down ‘ buttons did not work so most viewing options not available , bathroom door clearly a cheap 35mm £20.00 low grade choice which was already split where the lock is placed , A further lock on the main door with the same code as the inner door might make sense , Hot water supply very slow . Lovely big room , very quiet , comfortable fresh bed , very nice bathroom even if some smaller details a bit neglected , stairs manageable but perhaps not so for less able visitors in bad weather , Yes would stay again if issues dealt with . I had high expectations of the Wild Garlic Rooms. It surpassed them. A very cosy and tidy room with a generous continental breakfast, well located close to other facilities in Nailsworth.

We stayed in one of the upper rooms, which was huge, old and really interesting. The rooms are run by owners of wonderful nearby restaurants. But old buildings take some doing, and I think they decided to invest in the restaurants. Our room had been superficially fixed up - there was a huge shower, excellent new tub - but the vinyl plank in the bathroom floor had been put down over the original floorboards with all their cool twists and gaps, and since vinyl plank flooring needs a good base that's missing, the flooring is coming apart and breaking down. Carpet was as clean as good cleaners can make it, but stains around table legs near the window (did someone leave it open during rain?). I'd guess doing up these rooms to the best local standard (like the Railway Hotel Apartments where we've stayed) would cost a fortune, and the rooms would be even more expensive than they are. So it's fine, if pretty expensive even for the Cotswolds, but don't expect the rooms to be on a par with their wonderful restaurants :)

Absolutely amazing place to stay lovely and quiet really clean and tidy the bed was a delight to sleep in and shower was massive as was the bath tub., would highly recommend to any who wants a quiet getaway
