Friendly staff, good breakfast, nice room, plenty of parking, good location, will definitely stay again. Small thing, can’t check in until 4 pm which I find a bit late, would prefer 3 pm.

Fabulous dog-friendly cosy pub with rooms. Had a lovely ground floor room with a very nice wet room. Could eat in the bar area with our dog and the food was excellent and very creative. Lovely walk right from the door around the salt marshes and each access to other areas along the coast. Would highly recommend

Difficult to fault. Room was comfortable and restaurant excellent Free parking in designated guest parking area. Dog friendly - we were about the only guests without a doggy companion - all well behaved though.

Lovely place to stay in Thornham. Different accommodation available depending on your needs but courtyard room sufficient for a couple of nights for 2 of us and a dog. The included breakfast was lovely with plenty to choose from and meals at the pub we're of good quality with service been excellent. Would definately stay at The Orangetree again and would highly recommend.

We went to the area to enable a visit to the RSPB reserve at Titchwell Marsh and only booked the day before as this was a spontanious decision to visit. We originally booked a courtyard room but on checking in found we had been upgraded to a room in the Manor Lodge which was a lovely room with an extremely comfortable bed, tea/coffee facilities. Unusually the bath was actually in the bedroom, but there was also a 'wet room' shower. There was also a private garden/patio as part of the room. Around 10pm there was some noise from people returning to their rooms but other than than it was very quiet, and as both my wife and I are light sleepers we both slept very well. The only downside is that we were only there for one night, but will certainly return when we are in the area again. Highly recommend.

We had a last minute 1 night stay at the OT, our first visit. A lovely, relaxing stay. The staff were exceptional, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and relaxed. The accommodation (Dragonfly) was lovely, clean and comfortable. Onsite parking right outside a bonus. Nice drinks selection and breakfast was very tasty. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend and return without hesitation. Thank you to all the team at the OT.

My wife & I stayed at The Orange Tree in one of the Courtyard rooms. Our pre-visit email included the information "Check-in will be strictly from 4pm only, to give our housekeeping team ample time for the necessary room cleaning procedures." We arrived at 4:10pm to be told that our room wasn't ready. Obviously, check-in and check-out times are not ample !! We were offered a drink, which I thought would be complimentary, but we were charged £8.50. The Courtyard rooms are very small. The only place for the 24" television is mounted high in the corner of the room. There is sufficient drawer and hanging space, but nowhere to put luggage out of the way. The bathroom was large but no shelves. The walk-in shower had no door and consequently flooded the whole bathroom, which then could not be used again until the maid had cleaned up. The shower itself leaked from many joints and sprayed from both the rain-head and the hand-held spray. We were only staying two nights, so it wasn't a great problem. The food was good, although the evening menu and breakfast are very limited for vegetarians. Checkout is 10:30

We had a wonderful one night stay in the manor lodge with our dog. The room was clean, modern, quiet with an extremely comfortable bed. We also had an amazing cooked breakfast each the following morning and were really impressed with the service and food. We’ll be back next time we visit Norfolk.

A superb stay in a lovely location. The room in the Old Bakery was clean and comfortable, had everything we needed including a coffee machine! Breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely recommend and hope to return in the future.

For the price it was good as breakfast was included which was very good. Room very small but OK for one night. Good location for walking. Had dinner in the restaurant and it was 5 Star and excellent quality whilst being reasonably priced.

The Inn is well kept, and the stuff are really friendly. Unfortunately the room is really tiny (a bit larger than a bed), and the shower in the bathroom is open (no curtain or door): after taking a shower, there is water every where. The air circulation is not really good either.

A very lucky find. We literally booked this 5 minutes before we arrived. Great room/suite. We booked a room but it consisted of a bedroom, lounge and conservatory with a small garden. Excellent. The restaurant was busy and food first class. We will definitely return in warmer weather.

The Orange Tree has benefited from an extensive upgrade and refurbishment and the place exudes an air of nothing spared quality. We had an upstairs annex room and whilst the room itself was clean and well appointed, it was rather cramped and lacked any windows and therefore the option of nighttime ventilation - not so good in hot weather. Food quality was good and menu choice also good, although service was a little slow at times, even though the restaurant was not particularly busy.

The welcome and hospitality were excellent from arrival to departure. The only improvements would have been if the room had been slightly larger, there had been more wardrobe space, and there had been a bath. The hotel was welcoming and dog-friendly. The staff were all wonderful and made us feel like we were part of their family. The room was spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent; the chef Isaac created dishes worthy of a Michelin star. If you do not intend to stay at the hotel, come for the food.

Its a great place to stay but I feel there are some staff training issues? When I book a stay a month in advance, including restaurant meals, I don't expect to be asked to queue outdoors for a table with casual visitors.

The stay and food was excellent,staff were fantastic apart from one noticeable fault,management and waiting staff would pet the dogs which we have no problem with but did not wash their hands before serving us with food and drinks Unexceptionable

Warm welcome and friendly, efficient service from when we arrived to when we left. We had delicious fish and chips in the evening. And a great breakfast with a wide range of things on offer and beautifully cooked options. Lovely relaxing stay, with everything done well. Thank you to the whole team!

The Orange Tree has benefited from an extensive upgrade and refurbishment and the place exudes an air of nothing spared quality. We had an upstairs annex room and whilst the room itself was clean and well appointed, it was rather cramped and lacked any windows and therefore the option of nighttime ventilation - not so good in hot weather. Food quality was good and menu choice also good, although service was a little slow at times, even though the restaurant was not particularly busy.

Staff helpful & approachable . Really nice & enjoyable long weekend break with excellent food, relaxing accommodation, lovely pub atmosphere inside & out. Great setting, wonderful walking right from The Orange Tree.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, nice room, plenty of parking, good location, will definitely stay again. Small thing, can’t check in until 4 pm which I find a bit late, would prefer 3 pm.

Fabulous dog-friendly cosy pub with rooms. Had a lovely ground floor room with a very nice wet room. Could eat in the bar area with our dog and the food was excellent and very creative. Lovely walk right from the door around the salt marshes and each access to other areas along the coast. Would highly recommend

Lovely area to spend a bit of time in. Fantastic coastal walk just around the corner. We were in an courtyard room which was very nice and the inclusive breakfast was very good.

The room was perfectly clean and comfortable but perhaps looking a little tired. Despite being on a main road it was so quiet, I had a great night’s sleep. The star of the stay was the breakfast, it was excellent! I’d happily stay again.

A superb stay in a lovely location. The room in the Old Bakery was clean and comfortable, had everything we needed including a coffee machine! Breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely recommend and hope to return in the future.

My wife & I stayed at The Orange Tree in one of the Courtyard rooms. Our pre-visit email included the information "Check-in will be strictly from 4pm only, to give our housekeeping team ample time for the necessary room cleaning procedures." We arrived at 4:10pm to be told that our room wasn't ready. Obviously, check-in and check-out times are not ample !! We were offered a drink, which I thought would be complimentary, but we were charged £8.50. The Courtyard rooms are very small. The only place for the 24" television is mounted high in the corner of the room. There is sufficient drawer and hanging space, but nowhere to put luggage out of the way. The bathroom was large but no shelves. The walk-in shower had no door and consequently flooded the whole bathroom, which then could not be used again until the maid had cleaned up. The shower itself leaked from many joints and sprayed from both the rain-head and the hand-held spray. We were only staying two nights, so it wasn't a great problem. The food was good, although the evening menu and breakfast are very limited for vegetarians. Checkout is 10:30

We had a wonderful one night stay in the manor lodge with our dog. The room was clean, modern, quiet with an extremely comfortable bed. We also had an amazing cooked breakfast each the following morning and were really impressed with the service and food. We’ll be back next time we visit Norfolk.

Would not choose to stay in the "Black Inca" room as seemed quite small and claustrophobic. No outside space for dogs. Food portions were very small and very expensive. 2 very small scoops of icecream without any wafer or garnish was £6.50.

We had such a lovely 2 night stay. We were upgraded on arrival to a room with a small garden for our dog. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make a fuss of our dog. The food was very good with some nice wines on offer, albeit a bit pricey. Overall, a really great stay and we will return.

A popular pub with accommodation. We were in a very nearby adapted old bakery. The room was a good size with a modern ensuite bathroom. The pub supplied fresh milk for our room on request at the bar. Breakfast was excellent and the food we ordered in the evening was good. There was an allocated 2 spaces for EV charging. It was on the"TAP" app. Charging was slow and I left it on overnight to get enough for our return journey to Sussex. It was a little expensive, but convenient for doing the journey at one go. The location was good for access to the coast and Sandringham. Just nearby were coastal paths for walking. Overall a pleasant stay.

our bathroom was terrible it was a wet room and you had to use the squeegee whilst showering to stop the water going out of the bathroom the drain was blocked so very slow draining then wet for the rest of stay would not stay again .on the plus side we did have a desert and coffee which were very nice staff were polite . restaurant was busy and food looked good so obviously popular.

Our room appeared very very new and was spotless with quality bathroom. The staff were all superb and the cod for dinner was amazing. Beautifully cooked and presented. Breakfast was casual and classy. Well done OT

This was an amazing stay, the pub hotel had a relaxing country vibe, it’s warm & welcoming, you don’t feel like you’re a stranger in the village. The food and drinks selection in the restaurant was fantastic. The room with a view, a private garden and a spacious bathroom with a shower that would fit 10. I had been busy with work calls, however the staff kept my glass topped up and even brought the breakfast time slot forward so I could start my day earlier. I will definitely be staying here again.

Space at a premium so if you’re staying for a longer period maybe a larger room would be advisable. Staff were all cheerful and helpful. Great breakfast served outside in this beautiful weather. Many, many dogs at dinner, mostly well behaved!
