Nice old coaching Inn style hotel . Room was small but comfortable. Breakfast excellent and freshly cooked . Dinner good but restaurant closed on Fridays . Reception very good- willing to adjust room to our needs- I chose a quiet room at the back as I like to open the window. Beautiful courtyard. Lack of their own parking is a drawback but I used free parking in a road nearby and there is plenty of paid parking available. Good central location.

Very nice friendly atmosphere and staff were very helpful. A special thanks to Summer who kindly posted a couple of items I had left in my room. Beautiful courtyard would definitely stay again.

Friendly staff , excellent choice of beers in the bar and reasonably priced, weather outside was freezing but the room was lovely and warm, nice comfy bed , and a nice full English breakfast the next morning . So next time we need to stay in Lutterworth we will stay at the Greyhound.

Lovely hotel, room was comfortable and the courtyard was idyllic. Breakfast was great. Bar is a little dated and the room was a little cold but electric fire and radiator did the trick. Parking was cheap. No real complaints except we thought the bar area could do with updating and making more inviting / cosy.

Car parking is a farce , you have to pay and display in the car park 7.00 AM- 6.00pm , so if you check at 2.00pm you are charged £5.00 to park up to 6.00 PM . The biggest hassle is you then have to pay again from 7.AM the next morning so you have to set your alarm to make the payment on time

Room was comfortable. If you love places with charm and character this is the place for you. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. The beer in the bar was great. Well served. Conveniently sited in centre of Town. A public car park is situated right behind the Inn at a cost of £5 per day. Free on Sunday. Overall an excellent stay.

It was a very old building with lots of history, it was quiet and pleasant to stay there, close to the site I was working at the next day, the car park was really close and cheap. friendly staff and nice breakfast 👍

Really nice experience from check in to Check out (including the good breakfast); room was really nice, clean and comfortable. It's the little things that help! such as it was great to have water in the room and fresh toilet rolls!!

We stayed here as we were going to a family party, the hotel was very clean and very friendly. Breakfast had a great variety if you wanted Continental or full English it was on the menu. We had the family room which I would definitely recommend great size room. Nothing was too much trouble..

I was very disappointed with the hotel and its facilities. I realise it is a listed building and very little could be done about access issues, I could not use my wheelchair inside the building. I could not have a shower during the two days we stayed because there were two steps to get into the shower. We could not open the curtains because the room we were given was on the busy street and people walking past could look into room. The room was very dusty and needs a full deep clean. We did not unpack because all the furniture needed a good polish. Room 34 does not have any photos on any hotel websites, says something for itself!! For me this stay was a reminiscence trip, having worked in Lutterworth more than fifty years ago,my disappointment was immeasurable. Having said all this I have to say the food was very tasty, the food was fresh and cooked from scratch, which does not happen in lots of hotels nowadays. The staff were very friendly, professional and efficient, which was a credit to the hotel.

Expectations should be tempered by the fact that this is a 300 y.o. building on a very busy road in the middle of town. Bearing that in mind the hotel is very clean and full of character which makes up for any of the above. They no longer do evening meals but the breakfasts are epic.

The hotel room was a little tired and small. The room had a portable humidifier as i suspect it would be damp without it. The cost was very reasonable and breakfast was good. So all in all value for money

I was in Room 1 at the very top of the building in the roof space - the final steps to the room were very steep and narrow and in a fire situation they had to be used to get down to the fire escape on the floor below. Of the 4 fixed radiators only 1 was working and a free standing 1 did not work. The bath took 40 minutes to fill. The room was dangerous to walk through especially at night as the roof beams were at head height. There was a motion sensor light fitted but this did not work.

Charming coaching inn- very friendly service, especially in the hotel restaurant. Old building so uneven floors even within bedrooms- creaky floorboards, narrow corridors, weird shaped bedrooms, electric heater to 'top up' the heating in the bedroom. About as far from a soulless hotel chain as you could get, which is all part of it's character and charm.

Very helpful and friendly staff , our room was at the front near the road but we couldn't hear the traffic , super comfy bed , the hotel bar was well stocked with cask ales on the pumps and were spot on .I really enjoyed the hearty breakfast next morning.

Parking was paid in a car park next door to the Greyhound, although I was able to get it for free with a disabled parking badge and free parking on Sunday. The Inn was nice, with enormous bed. Full English breakfast was delicious. As we were there to attend a wedding we didn't spend much time in the Inn.

We wanted to stay in a old-fashioned type of accommodation, and this matched our expectations. Our room was big and comfortable, just a bit of noise from the boiler nearby but we didn't mind. Food was good and the place was close enough to where we were headed too. Nice garden outside, and convenient parking (not included in the price). Only downside, the road outside is quite busy, and sort of weakens the peacefulness of the place.

Amaizing location in town and very nice interior yard space ! Very friendly staff and good breakfast have maked for us a very pleasant overnight stay . The only thing still to work a bit is the comfort of the bed to be amaizing like all the rest .....

Room was comfortable. If you love places with charm and character this is the place for you. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. The beer in the bar was great. Well served. Conveniently sited in centre of Town. A public car park is situated right behind the Inn at a cost of £5 per day. Free on Sunday. Overall an excellent stay.

Expectations should be tempered by the fact that this is a 300 y.o. building on a very busy road in the middle of town. Bearing that in mind the hotel is very clean and full of character which makes up for any of the above. They no longer do evening meals but the breakfasts are epic.

It was a very old building with lots of history, it was quiet and pleasant to stay there, close to the site I was working at the next day, the car park was really close and cheap. friendly staff and nice breakfast 👍

Nice old coaching Inn style hotel . Room was small but comfortable. Breakfast excellent and freshly cooked . Dinner good but restaurant closed on Fridays . Reception very good- willing to adjust room to our needs- I chose a quiet room at the back as I like to open the window. Beautiful courtyard. Lack of their own parking is a drawback but I used free parking in a road nearby and there is plenty of paid parking available. Good central location.

The owner and staff are so kind and thoughtful. We had a family room and it was perfect for the 4 of us. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent.

An attractive coaching Inn, full of character. Our room was nice but too cold and when we asked for extra bed covers or a thicker duvet, we were told the heating would be put on - it wasn’t. In the evening, I couldn’t get a hot shower but it was better in the morning. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the evening meal we had in the restaurant.

This was a wonderful place to break up my journey as I drove from Stockport to Farnborough. It's a charming, characterful piece of British heritage that's been lovingly preserved and appropriately modernised. The staff are efficient and welcoming, the choice and quality of the breakfast is incredible for what I paid, and I slept well. I stayed in room 8, which is a moderately sized double room. The ensuire bathroom has a walk in shower. My only notes were that the technology such as the TV and wifi are about due an upgrade—the Internet connection is usable but the speed varies a lot depending on which particular wifi network you connect to. It's also worth being aware that as it's a very old building, so the floors are uneven in places, you need to duck a lot if you're over 6 foot like me, and noise does travel up from the bar downstairs, but not late enough to disturb sleep in my experience. Also, do make yourself aware of the restrictions for the council pay and display car park round the back. I'd definitely recommend The Greyhound to anyone else passing through, and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

A 300 year old coach house modern.. but not the Hilton You should not expect the newest premier inn upgrades .. but old world charm reasonably priced.. cheap local parking.. if arriving after 6pm free parking.. but from 7am to be paid .. £5;for a whole day .. breakfast hand made .. like a home cooked B&B .. flexible menu
