The hotel was pleasant, and the staff were all terrific, and the breakfast was great. An understandable disappointment was that because new tile was being laid down-- beautifully-- I could not access the indoor pool without going outside, and it was a bit chilly to want to do that. I used the fitness center, and could recommend that instead of a Pelaton bike, or in addition to one, they provide a recumbent or chair-style bike for us old- timers! While not luxurious, our room and the public premises were well-kept up and diligently cleaned-- we'll stay there again if in the area!

Really enjoyed swimming laps in the pool, which was virtually empty at 6:00 a.m. The breakfast I had, coffee, omelet and toast, was satisfying, though the bananas disappeared pretty quickly. The iron and ironing board in the room came in handy for a quick spruce up. On the down side, the sliding bathroom door was quirky, the bathroom should have had a fan, and the hotel room was kind of small, with very little storage space.

This was probably the oldest Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed at. It’s still maintained it just seems ready for updates. The front desk service was good. We got in pretty late and were woke up by the cleaning service. There was no do not disturb door hanger. We fell back to sleep and another cleaning service worker banged on the door. Seems like they could at least make sure there were DND in the room.
