A great value stay. The room was very spacious and the bed comfy. Only downside was the shower didn't want to get hot. Onsite bar and restaurant are excellent offering good value for money and a great atmosphere. Plenty of onsite parking

Great location , good food with attentive staff.Bed very comfortable,tea and coffee facility in room appreciated. Bathroom really needed attention . All the silicone seals in shower are black mould and really unsightly - such a simple fix to do and yet it's not been done. Skirting boards in there all the way around are suffering with damp,mould, and are ill fitting and the bathroom just felt overall grubby. The bathroom is like 3sqm , makes it hard to understand why it's been left with the mould and decoration like it is. The floorboards creak soo badly everywhere. You can't avoid that noise. Woken before 6am because of the terrible creaking from above.For that reason we wouldn't choose this place again but they were very welcoming and it's a very busy pub.

Good pub with a few rooms, which are a decent size and modern, plenty of off road parking and excellent pub style food served until about 9pm. Wi-Fi worked well and staff friendly and efficient. Morning check out 11am which is better than most establishments if you’re not in a rush to get away. It would be my first choice when travelling in the area as just off the M5.
