Very nice stopover from the ferry at Santander dog friendly very pleasant will stay again on our return

Hotel reformado en muy buen estado que admite mascotas, fue genial porque está a pie de la autovía y salimos directos al día siguiente para continuar nuestro viaje. Suplemento de 5€ por mascota, no se pueden quedar solas en la habitación. Puedes estar con ellos en la cafetería del hotel pero no en el restaurante. Muy satisfechos. Volvería a alojarme aquí.

If you need a bed to rest on your travels, this hotel is very well located just off the motorway. Plenty of parking that was free. Rooms our very dated but it was clean and quiet.

Our stay was great. Parking was good and onsite. Dinner was super and quite reasonably priced. Breakfast was nice albeit limited choice for 12 euros. We were originally given a room that hadn’t been prepared but it was immediately switched for a super clean room. Perfect place and position to stop on route to or from Madrid and ferries.

We love the decor, the facilities are really good, the staff are excellent. The beds are very comfortable. I would have liked a disabled room as I struggled in the bathroom. The building looks a bit tired but we enjoyed our experience so much we will definitely return 😊

We’ve stayed here a number of times. Real value for money! Clean rooms, superking bed and good bedding, helpful staff and close to the motorway but no road noise. The cafe bar allows dogs too. Great overnight stop when travelling long distances.

No fuss, good restaurant, sensible bar prices, 2.5 hours from Santander, just off the motorway.

One night stopover on the way to the Santander ferry. The hotel is easy to access, plenty of parking. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. Bar prices were good, didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment there. All in all, a bit of a find and will definitely be staying there again.

No volvería. La habitación nada que ver con las fotos, todo en mal estado, suciedad incrustada, cama incómoda, ventana deteriorada, ducha no cerraba bien, lámparas alguna rota y sin funcionar. Lo único positivo el parking. Calidad precio caro.

La recepción da buena impresión pero la llegada a la habitación y la propia habitación nos transmitieron incomodidad, la limpieza es mejorable, la decoración también, las puertas son antiguas y dan ruido, la ducha no funcionaba bien, se escuchaba las habitaciones de al lado… La parte buena es que es un colchón grande y cómodo.

Our room was in need of refurbishment, as it was really tatty. The only lights in the room were 2 dim wall lights, a standard lamp didnt work. And the wifi was very weak . It took more than 40 minutes for our breakfast order to arrive.

Lovely large room with aircon. Big bathroom with very powerful shower. Clean, tidy, comfortable. Lovely view over the landscape. It had everything we needed for a 1-night stop and we think we would have been very happy there for a few nights.

Nos hospedamos nesse Hotel com a expectativa de permanecer por mais um dia, todavia, não fomos bem atendidos desde o início, um dos principais problemas foi a Internet, apesar de ser uma viagem de férias, eu também estava trabalhando. Ao tentar conectar a internet, e não obtivemos sucesso, e ao voltarmos a recepção e solicitamos a troca de quarto, ao qual a recepcionista nos disse com bastante pouco caso que não havia disponibilidade pois nossa reserva era econômica e não haviam quartos econômicos, eu precisava trabalhar e falei para ela que a internet simplesmente não funcionava, solicitei a ela uma providência, e ela me disse que iria reiniciar o roteador, a internet continuou não funcionando, então a funcionária me disse que ela não tinha como fazer nada para resolver, ou seja fiquei sem poder trabalhar porque a internet não funcionou, estávamos em um quarto no final do corredor. Além disso havíamos reservado um quarto cama de casal e nos entregaram um quarto com duas camas de solteiro. Devo ressaltar também, novamente, que o atendimento da recepcionista foi de total pouco caso conosco. Por fim não indico para quem precisa trabalhar, O QUARTO ECONÔMICO, pois existem duas alas no Hotel e nas diversas vezes que estive na recepção, no meu caso, notei que o atendimento era diferente para quem estava hospedado na melhor ala do hotel. Essa foi minha experiência, então fique atento de precisa trabalhar utilizando INTERNET.

We stay here frequently as its more accommodating to dogs than a lot of Spanish hotels. The food and wine is very good and the rooms are spacious.

Stay here a. Few times, but dud not enjoy this as much. The room was good spacious and clean. Unfortunately the A/c unit was malfunctioning, could not get any cool air even at 16°. Uncomfortable night as temp was in the night 30° during the day. Restaurant. Menu quite limited, the gush flush my wife ordered was not available. Other fish dishes had strange sauce or no sauce. Non that suited our palates. I had tender lain steak and ask for medium rare. Came in a thick mushroom sauce but was rare. No one came to ask if it was alright. Staff not attentive Breakfast. Basic Buffet. No hot food no one about to assist. Could have been good but I would only say it was average. Only staff member I saw was the barmen to ask me my room number to invoice. Difficulty with the tea and coffee machine Will stay again but hope my vomments are taken as constructive to improve just that little bit.

Hotel de carretera un poco atrotinado. Esperaba más. Habitación muy muy simple le falta una reforma profunda.

We stay here ip yo 4 times each year, as we drive to Southern Spain, and back twice each year. Excellent service, lovely rooms and dog friendly.

Check in very slow considering we have stayed before

This hotel has gone downhill. Because of walking difficulties we were promised a ground floor room but got the same room as 2 weeks ago. No customer care as the hotel was no way near half full and they had plenty of rooms to select from. This is my very last visit to the hotel which I have used since 2015 when it was an hotel. Stay there at your own risk.

We last stayed at this hotel in October 2023 and the receptionist suggested a groundfloor room close to the main area because of my disability.Perfect. In December 30/12/2023 I wrote asking for the same room when we arrive 04/04/24. On arrival we were told immediately that there is no afternoon lunch and that there is no bar service. The kitchen and bar would be open that evening. Next we were given room 162, first floor which was 30yds from the lift with the room approx. 80 yds from the lift. I asked about our request for our previous room to be told she knew nothing of our request, the room was let and it was no longer considered a budget room. I then asked because of my disability and shortness of breath could she move us to either a groundfloor room or one nearer the lift. i was told that the hotel was full, yet the car park was quite empty. We are due to stay there on the 18/04/24, we have requested a groungfloor room and we shall see what happens. We have been using this hotel since 2016 and have seen the standards slowly slipping but this last stay reached a very standard.

Me encantó la decoracion, limpieza, amplitud de la habitación, amabilidad de Mari Luz, que era la señora de recepción de la tarde, el aparcamiento graruito, lo silenciosa que era la habitación. Lo que no me gustó, es que al volver por la noche al hotel, el chico de la recepción no estaba en la entrada, tampoco salió al tocar la campana, y tuve que decir varias veces Hola en voz alta y esperar , para que saliera Pero eso no era problema, porque no va a pasar 8 horas ahí plantado, si no es un hotel con trasiego de personas por la noche. Lo que me molestó, es que no me dijo ni hola, me dio la llave, pero con mala cara y repasandome de arriba abajo

It was a convient place to stop just off the main road we use to travel to Bilbao. Staff were very friendly and made you feel welcone

Great for a one night stopover on the way to Bilbao for the ferry. Easy to find just off the motorway and yet no noise could be heard in the room. Easy check in, lovely room, dog friendly and a good price. Adjoining bar great for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Very convenient to A1 from Madrid, exit at the north Aranda de Duero exit and it is just south of the roundabout. Staff helpful, hotel built in 1970 and the restaurant seemed to be popular. Quiet comfortable room. Recommended. North of town.

Hotel a 4 km de Aranda, cómodo y fácil de aparcar, personal muy agradable y atento, desayuno buffet completo.

Love the hotel as so convenient for overnight stay on the way to ferry. Nice and dog friendly.

Tres bon rapport qualité prix. Pratique au bord de l'autoroute, mais au calme. Animaux acceptés. Bon repas et bon petit-déjeuner. Nous reviendrons sur la route de l'Andalousie.

Como observacion, Solo pondria algunas opciones mas de desayuno. Es bastante limitado.

Lo que es el alojamiento genial, dormimos muy bien. El personal muy amable ,pero el buffet por 10€por persona fue desastroso, cuando bajamos a las 10h, solo hay un par de croissants y poco mas, nos toco ir pidiendo que nos sacaran de todo poco a poco porque el personal sino no lo estaba reponiendo. Cierto que muy amablemente lo fueron sacando ,pero me parece caro.

Es ist kein Hotel um Urlaub zu machen aber gut für eine Übernachtung für Zwischenstopp. Das Zimmer war sauber, das Bett gut. Die Cafeteria öffnete ab 18 Uhr, Essen kann man dort ab 19:30, ebenso im Restaurant. Das Essen in der Cafeteria war gut und die beiden Herren die dort gearbeitet haben war sehr nett. Das Frühstück für 12 Euro war allerdings viel zu teuer. Es gab keine warmen Speisen, das Brot konnte man kaum Toasten, der Käse war von der billigsten Sorte. Wahrscheinlich musste erst die Nesspresso Kaffeemaschine durch den erhöhten Frühstückspreis bezahlt werden!
