Double room was clean, comfortable bed, nice view, decor a bit industrious. No homey feel. Plenty of parking. Beautiful grounds for walking and taking in the view with lots of outdoor seating options. I was there from tues to wed and restaurant was closed which would have been nice to know. Staff recommended the restaurant at their sister hotel which was quite a distance away. Found plenty of dining options in Hinwil a few minutes away. The hotels name means rabbit and the decor was fitting. Overall a pleasant stay.

Friendly and helpful staff, rooms were clean and car park was right next to the hotel - don't park at the bottom but at the top of the hill as you approach the hotel. Amazing terrace views from the restaurant.

Grundsätzlich besticht der Landgasthof Hasenstrick durch die einmalige Lage mit der tollen Aussicht und einem sehr schönen Gebäude. Das Einzige was man bemängeln könnte wäre - ausser ich hätte es übersehen - dass es keinen Lift hat im Gebäude des Hotels. Die Hochzeitsfeier meines Sohnes lief super ab. Das Wetter konnte leider nicht beeinflusst werden, aber was in den Möglichkeiten des Hotels und der Restaurant Crew lag wurde alles perfekt und sehr aufmerksam gemacht. Ich kann den Landgasthof Hasenstrick jedermann bestens empfehlen, der einfach mal abschalten möchte und der die schöne Landschaft des Zürcher Oberlandes und die Aussicht bis beinahe nach Zürich geniessen möchte. Wer dann noch gut zu Fuss ist, der geht hinauf auf den Bachtelturm. Auch den empfehle ich wärmstens.

Et udemærket hotel i bjergene med kærlighed til kaniner, i Schweiz. Værelserne kan føles trange, men ellers ganske fint. Der er en dejlig restaurant på stedet, som laver lækker mad. Stedet har en fin legeplads og lidt dyr, som er sjovt for børnene.

Bergachtig gebied, redelijk mooie omgeving, gratis parkeren. Weinig spannends te doen in de directe omgeving. Op ong. 15km afstand wel een meer waar je kan zwemmen. 1e dag kregen we een kleine kamer met laag plafond, best claustrofobisch. Badkamer was slecht, weinig beenruimte wcpot en kleine douche met gordijntje.. kreeg het gevoel viezer te worden vh douchen. Op eigen verzoek 2e dag iets grotere kamer, was stuk beter. Alsnog matige badkamer. Ontbijt is zeer beperkt. Eitje en wat plakjes kaas. Wel vriendelijk personeel. Letop geen airco en geen lift! Wel kleine ventilator.. was net te warm in augustus. Mijn inziens **. Zou het zelf niet meer herhalen.

Beautiful, quiet location with excellent mountain and lake views. Spacious rooms with ability to open windows and let the fresh Swiss air in : ) About 35 minutes from Zurich. Breakfast buffet is overpriced for the minimal items available and reception staff is not available most times. Therefore, request hotel items such as towels or toilet paper during open restaurant hours for access to staff. Other than that, nice, quiet stay.

Das Hotel liegt sehr hoch auf dem Berg,das Personal war sehr freundlich.Das Zimmer war sehr warm,keine Klimaanlage.Unser Gepäck mußte über sehr steile Treppe getragen werden. Das Frühstück war sehr Bescheiden,eines Hotel nicht würdig.Das Personal war sehr ,sehr freundlich.

Nice quiet area, easy parking. Room was nice. Unfortunately the front desk was not staffed after our check in, or the following morning (they have a sign to see restaurant staff). We had no hot water in the evening or following morning in our bathroom and did not have the time to contact staff to solve the issue. Nice quiet area, easy parking. Room was nice. Unfortunately the front desk was not staffed after our check in, or the following morning (they have a sign to see restaurant staff). We had no hot water in the evening or following morning in our bathroom and did not have the time to contact staff to solve the issue. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again if there was working hot water.

Grundsätzlich besticht der Landgasthof Hasenstrick durch die einmalige Lage mit der tollen Aussicht und einem sehr schönen Gebäude. Das Einzige was man bemängeln könnte wäre - ausser ich hätte es übersehen - dass es keinen Lift hat im Gebäude des Hotels. Die Hochzeitsfeier meines Sohnes lief super ab. Das Wetter konnte leider nicht beeinflusst werden, aber was in den Möglichkeiten des Hotels und der Restaurant Crew lag wurde alles perfekt und sehr aufmerksam gemacht. Ich kann den Landgasthof Hasenstrick jedermann bestens empfehlen, der einfach mal abschalten möchte und der die schöne Landschaft des Zürcher Oberlandes und die Aussicht bis beinahe nach Zürich geniessen möchte. Wer dann noch gut zu Fuss ist, der geht hinauf auf den Bachtelturm. Auch den empfehle ich wärmstens.

It is honestly the most beautiful place!!! My fiancé and I were blown away at the view, the amazing customer service, the delicious food at the onsight restaurant! Would definitely stay there again! Only draw back, which is still absolutely fine if you love walking, the nearest bus stop is about 1.4km away and the walk from there is all uphill. But is a beautiful walk, especially going dien in the mornings😊 Oh and we loved the rabbit theme and sldo the epic Oldtimers Car Meet! We stayed there at a perfect time!

Wir waren zweimaal an einem Montag und Dienstag bei ihnen die Aussicht war beim ersten mal nicht gut ,da es Regnete,aber die Unterkunft war gut und gemütlich nur wussten wir nicht dass der Hasenstrick am Montag und Dienstag geschlossen hat wegen dem Abendessen.Wir hatten auf einer Internet Platform gebucht .Das hat nicht gut geklapt ,wenn man noch weiteres wissen mussten oder Annulieren mussten ,erhielten wir das Geld nicht retour.Es war ein schöner Aufenthaltsort aber sehr Abgelegen.

Beautiful grounds for walking and taking in the view with lots of outdoor seating options. I was there from tues to wed and restaurant was closed which would have been nice to know. Staff recommended the restaurant at their sister hotel which was quite a distance away. Found plenty of dining options in Hinwil a few minutes away. The hotels name means rabbit and the decor was fitting. Overall a pleasant stay.

Hotel localizado no alto de um morro com uma vista fantástica. Quarto amplo, limpo e confortável. Possui um restaurante no andar debaixo que nos salvou no primeiro dia (apesar do preço ser um pouco elevado, mas dentro dos parâmetros cobrados na Suíça), já que muitos restaurantes na região já estava fechados. Apenas não dei nota máxima em razão de não possuir ninguém na recepção, o que tive que descobrir depois de muito tempo que os funcionários ajudavam no restaurante e tive que ir até lá para fazer o check-in. Mas, verdade deve ser dita, é um hotel incrível e sem duvidas retornaria.

Magnificent hotel just outside of Zurich with view at the lake. We chose the suite which was excellent. The breakfast was tasty. The stuff very helpful. I would certainly go again.

Great place in the country but still near Zurich! This hotel had ice & window screens!! :) Furniture was IKEA-ish but new. Bathrooms were nicely renovated, although had a shower curtain, not as sanitary as glass. Overall, very nice. Breakfast was very nice too! Great coffee available but not serve yourself. 1st day breakfast server was GREAT, 2nd day the server was crabby & it was not as nice.
