Craig-Y-Nos Castle

We enjoyed our stay at Craig-y-Nos Castle with my family. The hotel is in a beautiful location and the building itself is stunning, with plenty of character. We stayed in a family room with one double and one single bed. The room was quite small and fairly basic, but it was clean and perfectly adequate for our one-night stay. The bathroom was also clean and functional. We spent most of our time exploring the area and went cycling, which was fantastic. There are plenty of outdoor activities nearby, making it a great base for a short break. The only disappointment was that a wedding was taking place during our stay. Unfortunately, we weren’t informed about this in advance, so the bar and several lounge areas weren’t available to hotel guests. We had hoped to explore more of the hotel and relax with a drink on Saturday evening, so it would have been helpful to know about the private event before arriving. Overall, we really enjoyed the surrounding area and had a lovely family trip. With better communication about private events, the experience would have been even better.
