Great views , location, breakfast was good and the staff were nice. Quite private. The parking was a big challenge. The 5 spots for parking were very difficult and if you parked in the 3 at the back you would have to jockey the cars around to get your own. We parked on the one spot that was left on he road which meant parking on a hill!!! Very challenging to get in and out. Our room was at the very top so if you are fit you are ok but if not it’s a lot of work. No elevators . Difficult to carry bags up there!! But lovely room And excellent views. I’d go there again based on that !!

Booked because the website stated lifts and on site parking. Parking was 5 spaces? But when cars parked there they were very close together and very awkward to get out or in/ no lifts l booked this as climbing staircase not ideal due to health. Cold water in bathroom very poor no pressure sold holiday under false amemities.

Booked this hotel as they are dog friendly and close to the town of Llandudno. Check in was easy and ALEX at reception was extremely welcoming and helpful. As I was in the third floor, he did offer to carry my bags, as there is no lift here. Room was comfortable (single. Room) although the bathroom was cramped. Hotel is in a very quiet location, but parking is restricted and can be tricky,as you have to reverse into a right driveway. Breakfast consists of some continental options and then a delicious, hot full English, which was lovely,I must say. Overall, an enjoyable stay and I would most certainly return here again. For those taking dogs, and there is a £15 charge, which is not advertised anywhere sadly.

We had a really enjoyable stay here, location is excellent, there is a hill which is quite steep so for those who struggle be warned. The views are suberb and the hotel has little nooks with window seats where you can soak in the views dotted around along with outside patios to do the same. It is dated but that adds to the charm i have to say our room was very clean despite the age. Furniture is in keeping with the style of the hotel which added to the charm. Breakfast was excellent and served efficiently to a full dining room. Plenty on offer, cereals, cooked, croissants, continental, fruit and yoghurt and the staff chatted easily with guests. A full house when we stayed but there was no noise and it was nice to see families making the most of the communal area using the board games and reading the books that were available Friendly and helpful staff Will definitely stay here again Thank you for an enjoyable visit

We loved the family room, which had a sea view. We were on the top floor, but there was no lift. Breakfast is excellent. Hotel is lovely, with a sea view lounge which has a few board games. The only draw backs are that there are no lifts and the decor needs redoing. Neither affected pur happy stay.

Although parking was minimal, we did manage to park on the roadside which was free. The Headland Hotel is right at the top of the hill, which gives beautiful views of the sea and the Great Orm. Had the best sleep ever as it's so quiet outside, just the odd sheep bleating. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms comfortable. Would stay again.

Parking is an issue in the area but the hotel offers various solutions with its available parking. Unfortunately sometimes other guests block you in.

The room was small but comfortable tea coffee available breakfast was very good.has a small bar but no real choice of draught beers staff very helpful and friendly.only problem was our room was at the top of the hotel 53 stairs to the top room.but fantastic views across the bay and town.

Booked the hotel as part of a couple of nights away in Wales. Chose this hotel because of the views & car parking, which is very limited on Llandudno. On arrival found that the car parking is extremely limited. A few spaces on the drive & a small car park at the rear - very tight manoeuvring on a small road. Warm welcome on arrival. Our room was up 2 flights of stairs. Spacious room, with brilliant views over the bay. Everywhere was clean, but a bit dated. Walk into town was down & up a steep hill, which you need to be aware of, if mobility is an issue. There are several pubs & eating places near to the hotel, without going in to Llandudno. Breakfast provided in the dining room. Help yourself to cereals, juice, drinks & toast. Cooked breakfast on demand was lovely & served hot. Good value for money.

I was informed that there was limited hotel parking but I didn't expect a total of 4 spaces where you either blocked in other vehicles or were blocked in yourself. Dark interior, broken tiles, stained mirrors and dirty windows marred what could otherwise have been a splendid hotel in its day.

mon-fri break, easy check in, easy parking. we were on the top floor with a sea view, what a view of llandudno! well worth the climb up the stairs! the room/bathroom was clean, the bed was very hard, 2 single mattress pushed together making a double which didn't bother us.plenty of tea bags(pg tips) and coffee,milk,sugar. lots of drawers etc. breakfast was more than adequate with a good variety to choose from. cooked breakfast was very nice and a sausage for the dog! very good location its basically in happy valley! we had the famous great orme goats outside our window along with foxes and squirrels! all in all a brilliant short break we will definitely be going back to headlands. bear in mind this is not a 5star hotel that offers 5star services! if you want that view there is no lift! its a old victorian building with old decor! but its warm and welcoming! roll on next october!! well done headlands hotel!

This is an old property with character. Our bedroom was compact but very clean, with everything needed for an overnight stay. Bed was clean and comfy. Breakfast was brilliant and set us up for the day. Parking a bit problematical, but everyone was careful. Would recommend and visit again.

Lovely victoriana property, love the olddy worldly feel but that comes with dusty broken chandeliers, doors and creaky floors but all in all a lovely lovely hotel and getting room 27 with our own private terrace was a bonus. Breakfast was plenty and nice, all in all a thoroughly pleasant hotel.

Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, it couldn't have been bettered at all. The room had a lovely sea view from one side and on the other side we could see the mountain goats on the Orme. The bed was very comfy and the room was clean although we could clearly see quite a few long hairs on the carpet. The bathroom was quite chilly but we were there in cold and stormy weather. The room amenities were very good, iron, ironing board, hairdryer and a second heater (which came in handy as we placed it near the bathroom). The hotel is a five minute walk to the centre and even closer to the pier. The position of it is excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice one night short stay at this hotel, which was within walking distance of the town and promenade. Our bedroom was adequate, but rather small, as was the bathroom. It was clean, with just about enough storage space for clothes and the like. A lovely full English breakfast was served with a nice smile the following morning. For those who are a little unsteady on their legs, be prepared for a fairly steep, on road, and hotel drive accent to the hotel. All in all we thought the hotel was ok, but for us, only for a short stay.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Headlands for his Birthday. The room had wonderful views of the sea. Room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was great, staff lovely. Will definitely return.

Hotel was a little dated but clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. The view from our room was lovely right across the bay. However we were in a family room on the third floor, and were a little anxious that the windows were so easily opened as we had a small child with us. We would have liked to be able to lock them for safety. Also a towel rail at child height in the bathroom would have been helpful for our little one.
Hotel was a little dated but clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. The view from our room was lovely right across the bay. However we were in a family room on the third floor, and were a little anxious that the windows were so easily opened as we had a small child with us. We would have liked to be able to lock them for safety. Also a towel rail at child height in the bathroom would have been helpful for our little one.

We were very fortunate to get a room with a sea view, which was amazing, being able to look out of the window upon Llandudno beach. The room was nicely decorated, well presented, the bed was very comfy and the bathroom was satisfactory, if maybe a little small. But the shower system more than made up for it. At breakfast, a superb range of options were available, including a good selection of fruit, cereals and porridge, toast, pastries and the good old full English, which was well prepared and very tasty. A coffee machine provided a choice of hot beverages, but there was also juice on offer. The bar, which we did make use of on a couple of occasions during our stay, was very well stocked with beer, wine, spirits and snacks. Prices were very reasonable. Now, I have to give credit to Alex the manager, who was very attentive to us during our stay and genuinely could not do enough for you. If he wasn't manning reception, he was in the bar. If he wasn't serving breakfast, he was cleaning rooms. This man's endless talents had no limits. But most of all, you didn't feel like he was a host, you felt he was a friend. Such an amazing hard working guy and a real credit to this business. My only criticism is the parking could be problematic but again Alex was quick to resolve the issue.

If he wasn't serving breakfast, he was cleaning rooms. This man's endless talents had no limits. But most of all, you didn't feel like he was a host, you felt he was a friend. Such an amazing hard working guy and a real credit to this business. My only criticism is the parking could be problematic but again Alex was quick to resolve the issue.

This hotel has great views in a quiet corner of Llandudno a short walk from the town centre. The decor is old-fashioned and charming, however some of the fixtures in the room do show their age. Everything was really clean and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good and accommodating of vegetarians. On street parking across from the hotel was not a problem though it probably is quite tight in high season. I’d recommend earplugs as the walls are quite thin, our neighbours weren’t very considerate and had the TV up late into the night which was quite loud, however that is to be expected in an old building like this. Overall a very lovely stay.

Had a really nice time at the hotel. Nice staff, tasteful decor. Stayed in the double room with a sea view on the top floor, was blown away by the view, especially at night. Fantastic breakfast in the morning too. Top stay, all round.

Excellent view over Llandudno, superb location near Happy Valley, delicious breakfast, pleasant corner to bring our dinner, lovely old house. No lift, but we knew this. However, no in-room safe, only one key for 2 of us (and we'd booked a room for 3!) even though we asked. When we asked for more water- staff claimed manager was too busy, then that he was on a flight somewhere, then that they didn't have another water bottle in the entire hotel; no real sense of customer service.

Booked this hotel as they are dog friendly and close to the town of Llandudno. Check in was easy and ALEX at reception was extremely welcoming and helpful. As I was in the third floor, he did offer to carry my bags, as there is no lift here. Room was comfortable (single. Room) although the bathroom was cramped. Hotel is in a very quiet location, but parking is restricted and can be tricky,as you have to reverse into a right driveway. Breakfast consists of some continental options and then a delicious, hot full English, which was lovely,I must say. Overall, an enjoyable stay and I would most certainly return here again. For those taking dogs, and there is a £15 charge, which is not advertised anywhere sadly.

Although parking was minimal, we did manage to park on the roadside which was free. The Headland Hotel is right at the top of the hill, which gives beautiful views of the sea and the Great Orm. Had the best sleep ever as it's so quiet outside, just the odd sheep bleating. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms comfortable. Would stay again.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Headlands for his Birthday. The room had wonderful views of the sea. Room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was great, staff lovely. Will definitely return.

We were very fortunate to get a room with a sea view, which was amazing, being able to look out of the window upon Llandudno beach. The room was nicely decorated, well presented, the bed was very comfy and the bathroom was satisfactory, if maybe a little small. But the shower system more than made up for it. At breakfast, a superb range of options were available, including a good selection of fruit, cereals and porridge, toast, pastries and the good old full English, which was well prepared and very tasty. A coffee machine provided a choice of hot beverages, but there was also juice on offer. The bed was very comfy and the room was clean although we could clearly see quite a few long hairs on the carpet. The bathroom was quite chilly but we were there in cold and stormy weather. The room amenities were very good, iron, ironing board, hairdryer and a second heater (which came in handy as we placed it near the bathroom). The hotel is a five minute walk to the centre and even closer to the pier. The position of it is excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice one night short stay at this hotel, which was within walking distance of the town and promenade. Our bedroom was adequate, but rather small, as was the bathroom. It was clean, with just about enough storage space for clothes and the like. A lovely full English breakfast was served with a nice smile the following morning. For those who are a little unsteady on their legs, be prepared for a fairly steep, on road, and hotel drive accent to the hotel. All in all we thought the hotel was ok, but for us, only for a short stay.

The views are suberb and the hotel has little nooks with window seats where you can soak in the views dotted around along with outside patios to do the same. It is dated but that adds to the charm i have to say our room was very clean despite the age. Furniture is in keeping with the style of the hotel which added to the charm. Breakfast was excellent and served efficiently to a full dining room. Plenty on offer, cereals, cooked, croissants, continental, fruit and yoghurt and the staff chatted easily with guests. A full house when we stayed but there was no noise and it was nice to see families making the most of the communal area using the board games and reading the books that were available Friendly and helpful staff Will definitely stay here again Thank you for an enjoyable visit

Had a really nice time at the hotel. Nice staff, tasteful decor. Stayed in the double room with a sea view on the top floor, was blown away by the view, especially at night. Fantastic breakfast in the morning too. Top stay, all round.

Nice little hotel. Situated by the cable car beach , town and pier which was great. Room was very hot , would have been nice to have had the windows left open to get some cool air in. Bed was comfortable and the towels were good quality. Room had a fan which was a god send in this extreme heat. Only gripe was 1 tea bag each. Not enough sadly.

Booked as a same day last minute trip. The view was lovely from up in our room and also the dining room. Parking was a bit tight as it was full. We parked on the yellow lines with the disability pass for a while and there was more parking on the road later. That said most of Llandudno was also very full on out arrival so we felt very luck at such short notice! The breakfast was very nice and the hotel is a lovely old listed bulding.

Rattling windows and parking is a big issue, shouldn’t be advised as with parking as there are only 5 spaces for the whole hotel.

We enjoyed our stay. Our sea view room was lovely The breakfast in particular was excellent. Good variety of fresh fruit, and excellent cooked breakfast. A particular thank you to all the staff particularly to the lady who served breakfast/reception/housekeeping. She was very friendly and helpful. Extremely dog friendly.
