We loved the old Inn feel. It was just what we were looking for on our tour of the English countryside. The staff was outstanding. The breakfast was excellent as well. No complaints.

This is a charming hotel in a lovely location with excellent, friendly staff. The only down side was we were staying during a heatwave and our room only had a fan rather than aircon. However, as the building is hundreds of years old - and charming, as a result - I can understand that it's very difficult to install this for the bedrooms.

Breakfast haphazard and a bit of a let down. A basket of toast is just two slices of toast so don’t order one to share. Ordered eggs on toast and the waitress even apologised when she brought it. Evening meals and drinks they do well. The room was nice but could do with a freshen up and proper clean. The road was shut the day we came for an event they could have easily told us so we arrived after it reopened.
