The Commercial Hotel

Wir hatten das Zimmer im Dachfirst, daher viele schräge Decken. Zum Frühstück gab es full scottish, eine neue Erfahrung für uns. Im großen und ganzen war es sehr schön. Das pubquiz hat uns großen Spaß gemacht. Parken kein Problem.

Im Gegensatz zu unserem letzten Aufenthalt hatten wir diesmal das falsche Zimmer, da es sehr laut war. Ansonsten kommen wir gerne wieder ( in ein ruhigeres Zimmer)

The bathrooms are extremely grubby, shower cubicles filled with grime, we were booked in for 4 nights, the 1st night we didn't pay much attention to the place (we were knackered), the next morning we couldn't believe just how filthy the place was ! Spoke to management about getting a refund on the 1st night and we'd consider moving rooms, upon looking at other rooms they weren't much better. The management weren't able to make any decisions so had to call the owner (Carlton i believe he was called), who refused any offer we came up with. From chatting to staff they've spoken about the rooms needing refurbished but the owner has always refused. In summary...great staff,absolutely stinking rooms.

Room overlooked the Main Street. There was live entertainment which went on until11pm and could be heard in our room. Then at 11.45pm the front door shutter was heard being pulled down and raised in the morning before we were even out of bed. Finally we were told that breakfast was at 10am having been told by the staff member who booked us in that it was at 9am
