After a 6 hour drive got to hotel an hour early. I arrived to a girl texting on her phone as I stood there, very unprofessional. I asked if we could check in but was told I would have to pay $40 for early check in. Disappointing as I have never been asked to pay extra at other hotels for early check in. I received an email that I would be getting a renovated room which did not look renovated. My AC was loud and did not cool properly, the door from my restroom did not close properly, had to lift and pull the door with strength to close it. I had other family stay as well and we were hoping to swim but pool was closed which was also disappointing. Would not recommend, I expected more from this hotel.

First time staying, room was fairly clean but was well used. Toilet seat was broken and had to be careful if seating on it. Shower fixtures were well worn. Elevators were in very bad condition. Only thing that was ok staying here was the price of the room. You get what you pay for as the old say goes.

Shower was lacking water pressure and did not get very hot. Noisy due to construction in progress on the property that was not disclosed at the time of reserving our stay so that was upsetting. Older building so much of the hotel room was not in good condition and there was an almost unbearable odor. Bed was fairly comfortable for the 2 nights I guess. Definitely 2 star at most

Room was dirty. There were brown stains on the sheets. It was a tooth paste cap on the floor in the restroom so you know the floor wasn't swept. There was residue on the counter in the bathroom. The hotel is also under construction.

I had 3 room changes trying to find one with a suitable bathroom. Even as they moved me to a suite, I could not stay there and asked to be refunded. Each bathroom was full of mold, mildew, and rust. I mean it was all over in the shower. The bathroom sink and the sink in the livingroom room area were clogged, and one sink was filled with cloudy, foul smelling water. This left me and my family riding through Lake Charles after midnight looking for alternate accommodations. The furniture looked new, but the cleanliness was awful. Pretty disgusting actually. The property is supposedly undergoing renovations. The rooms I was moved to were supposedly one of those renovated rooms. But I guess those renovations don't include the bathrooms.

There was a black mold infestation in the bathroom and inside cabinetry. If we hadn't gotten to our room so late in the night, we would have changed hotels. The room smelled extremely musky and it was a very unpleasant experience. The staff did not seem concerned about the issue.

The room was not clean. The floor had not been vacuumed, there were fingerprints all over the mirrors on the headboards of the bed or greasy handprints. The bathroom had would look to be pubic hair all over it there was hair in the sink and a dirty wash rag there was also hair all over the bathroom floor there was only two towels there w wasn't any complimentary coffee, sugar cream etc that was supposed to be provided in the room the beds were dirty as well with hair on them as well as the sheets had sayings. It was just horrible and when I complained to the front desk they basically told me to bring the sheets down and they would give me new ones and then the maintenance man ended up bringing me a vacuum cleaner, spray cleaner along with wash rags and black gloves in case I wanted to clean the room myself. They were also not very accommodating and the gym was closed even though they said that it was supposed to be open 24 hours 7 days a week so I didn't have access to that.

The bathroom floors had hair everywhere rub stain.. Bedding had stains throughout, carpet in the room had debris. Fridge had left over food in the freezer and the microwave was not clean brown stains throughtout ... I travel there from Houston for a family and had i not been so exhausted , my daughter myself and 3yr grandbaby would have left immediately.. I requested another room and was told they where booked.. Instead we slept with all the lights just to rest before driving and checked out at 7am ish.

Had to get three different key cards for my room!!! TV didn’t work they said maintenance would come to fix it they never came! Smelled old paint and mildew. Was not a quiet stay. There was a large family staying in multiple rooms and they had several very loud arguments which went into the hall and disrupted my sleep between 2-4. Called front seat, phone just rang and rang. No answer. Went to lobby and no one there.

Property and rooms smells very bad, according to the front desk all rooms views to neighbors and the are no private shads, we made our reservation through Expedia yet at the checkout the front desk urgue with us and the manager was urgant arrogant to provide a proof of refunds. The night attendant who was working when we checked in was very helpful in adjusting our reservation. If she hadn't, we wouldn't have been able to stay there ... that would have been bad because we checked in at midnight. So, she saved our visit. Thank God there are still compassionate people out there.

Kiara at the front desk was delightful. She offered to help me if I had noise from the construction. She also helped with my toilet that clogged twice. I'm an elderly petite female that didnt flush anything that shouldn't be. Service at the desk and the small breakfast/ bar area was good. Breakfast food was good.

When we checked in we were not greeted properly. I want she greeted us and started to check us in, she began to talk to her coworker on side of her. She was talking about how the other customer requested to change the room several times and how it was her fault she had four kids. Definitely not a professional conversation to have in front of the customer who's checking into your hotel.

This hotel was clean, and located close to the casino that I was visiting. it's an older property, but well maintained. The neighborhood around the property is not so great, but it is also in an area still suffering from hurricane damage from 2 years ago. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

People hanging out in lobby all evening making noise. Room’s air conditioning was not turned on so it was 80 degrees when we got there. We were moved to another room after several calls to the front desk. The free Breakfast was the worst. All that was there were a few bagels and English muffins that I swear were three or four days old. No cups to be found anywhere for orange or grapefruit juices. They do have a paid breakfast available so we were encouraged to eat there.

We had to wait 2 hours to be able to check in (checkin was at 3 and we didn't get to checkin until 5). Hotel and the room was hot even with the air conditioner. Bar and bartender was great.

Almost had to leave due to the smell of someone smoking weed it was so strong and the tub would not drain while showering and it’s the first hotel I’ve ever stayed at that had no breakfast not even in restaurant due to their cook not showing up

Outside nice. The room bathroom smelled musty. Housekeeping just tossed the trash can liners on the cans and never put them in. A cold breakfast was offered--cereal or buy one if u want hot. Not impressed at all, especially after comparison to other chains we have stayed during this vacation.

This hotel has a wonderful staff. The hotel itself is nice and updated and clean, but the staff really put it over the top. No free breakfast, but the meals served there were reasonably priced and good. The only thing that would have made it better is if bar would stay open past 9.

This hotel had a ghost of a staff. Not ran efficiently; spills on elevator lingered, breakfast was a no show. Had to switch rooms because of a leak and wet carpet, they were nice about it though. However, new room had no hot water at the sink. Tub was not clean in either room.

It was an easy and fast checkin but the hotel was older and smelled. There was dead roaches everywhere. Fully equipped breakfast area but nothing was provided. Coffee was cold.

At 730AM the breakfast was cold and there were no forks to eat with. No attendant available to assist guests. To get coffee we had to go to the front desk and the coffee was cold. The desk clerk made the coffee and found the attendant who brought forks to eat the cold food with. The room was disappointing, dark and dismal. The bathroom was in need of maintenance, the commode was loose and moved when you sit on it. There were stains around the seams of the tub/shower. I paid for a suite and expected much more. I made the reservation based on photos of the rooms and was very disappointed, the furniture was uncomfortable and dreary. Upon checkout the desk clerk was very friendly and attentive. I asked to speak to a maneger and none was available so we waited a while but had to leave for a long drive home. I was told that the manager would call but never did. I made the reservation with a third party service, which I did not intend to do. That complicated thing since any changes had to go through them, I will never do that again.
