We’ve stayed at this hotel a few times and this is the first time we were really disappointed. When we arrived, it was fine. The following day at breakfast, the waffle maker didn’t work well, the other options were below average. When we went to pool, we found the found it extremely dirty - lots of bugs that we had to clean it before we even went in which tells us that the pool isn’t well maintained. There was also water damage on the ceiling and water was from the ceiling was leaking into the hot tub. When we arrived to our room (which is on the 1st floor) we opened the shades to find 2 wasps in our room and we DID NOT open any windows during our stay so that tells us there is a crack near the window where wasps can enter. The floor also was extremely dirty near the door. Not sure why this visit was such a poor experience compared to our time but we will probably not stay here again.

I usually like to give excellent reviews. I hesitate here. I'll begin with the positives. The check out woman at the desk on Monday was cheerful and a great way to start my day. The room/suite was set up well and everything was useful. The hall was quiet and I slept well both nights in spite of highway location. Now, the less positive. The first room we were given immediately smelled of cigarettes. We went down to change rooms and the desk attendant gave us another room. This room smelled better but was shabbier than the first. I had a headache so we stayed. The entire hotel had an air of cigarettes even though signs posted everywhere demanded No Smoking. The elevator carpets were filthy. The outdoor entrance in the back to the rooms were soiled by garbage removal. Sometimes, the air in the room smelled like sewage. I don't like to complain, but, I was disappointed. We needed a fresh, clean place to stay because we were dealing with some tough family stuff. This hotel did not help.

We came I to Aberdeen for a baseball tournament. Had a room at this hotel for 2 nights, along with the majority of our team. Multiple families had issues with their room, but I’ll just speak on ours: 1.Dresser in the bedroom had drawers that were messed up and I couldn’t open them easily or unless the drawer under it was open. 2. There was not enough silverware in the drawers for our family of 4. 3. There were holes in the floor under the carpet in the bedroom- big holes that almost made us trip a few times 4. Toilet did not flush correctly 5. No blanket for the pull out couch bed 6. Breakfast started at 7 on the weekend which I know is common in many places but when you are in a place where you know a huge percentage of your business is from baseball players playing in tournaments that start at 8am, you should adjust and do it at 6 so people can eat before leaving. 7. The room was either very very cold or very warm- no in between 8. No trash cans in the bathroom… There are many many other hotel around- choose them!
