Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Last minute accommodation. Paying for the view. Patio chairs were broken and when you used them you would be poked with the broken pieces. Kitchen chairs were dirty. Living room table was wobbly. Definitely needs to have some updates and new/functioning decor. Beach front complimentary services were a let down. Waited at the guys seat where the sign and color was for 5-7 minutes to get out chairs/unberalla set up and the attendant said “did you walk down the beach to see if there are any open”. Ummm, they all had items in them or reserved signs on the back. So needless to say, we didn’t get a set up because apparently we were asking too much of him. Overall we paid too much for what we received but if you’re just wanting a view, then this may be for you. On the other hand, Beverly was nice to work with.

Definitely pleased with the stay, the housekeeping could use just a tad of attention but nothing major. The pool needed maintenance while we were there but it was done very quickly and communicated in advance. Not overcrowded. One of our most pleasant stays in the area yet. Will be returning for sure!

Would have been nice to have a restaurant/ bar onsite but other than that we couldnt have been happier. I was so happy to get 2 chairs and umbrella every day on the beach. Gorgeous views. Would definitely stay again!

Great location! You can see the beach from the balcony (there is ground floor parking, this is labeled as "Floor 1" but it is actually the second level up). You can hear the ocean! It is a close walk to the beach and the fact they include an umbrella and 2 beach chairs set up by the beach service is FANTASTIC! You do have to walk up and over the short bridge, so just FYI for anyone considering a wagon (leave it home). Clean. Beds were ALL comfy - even for the adults on the bunks! Mattresses were very comfortable. The couch was worn and decompressed. But everything else was wonderful!

We were very pleased with the location. The unit was very nice & perfect for us. The bed was comfortable but it crackles every time you move. We were disappointed the pool etc was closed for maintenance but we reached out to the property manager. He was wonderful. Kudos to a top rate management company!!

Many experiences changed this condominium’s expectations and our experience. This was unfortunate. Our unit was very average and a real basic rental experience. Would not recommend this unit to anyone unfortunately. Many better other experiences for a getaway.

Exterior door to the appt. Was a little worrisome. Exterior door was very dirty. Smell was a little funky inside the rooms. Over all very clean and organized. Just the main door into the room was our biggest concern-did not seem too safe.

We loved staying in this condo and we loved the service provided by Southern Vacation Rentals. It was easy, it was clean, the checkout was a breeze - honestly, no complaints. The room had a great view and was in a great location. I would stay here again.

The unit itself was simply superb. It was very clean and the view on the 1st floor (not the ground floor) was perfect. The bed was incredibly comfortable and having two bathrooms for such a small unit was very convenient. There really was not much to complain about, but there are a couple of annoyances: 1. The cable TV connection worked intermittently and the receptionist seemed to be annoyed when asked any questions.

The condo is functional and serves its purpose but it needs a lot of TLC and several upgrades. The one great thing about the condo is the property management company Legacy Vacations. I had a couple of issues and I text the number provided and I heard back immediately and they came very quickly to fix the issues and the lady who came was very nice and helpful. The location of the condo on Okaloosa Island was beautiful and convenient and the free beach service was fantastic. I would definitely stay at Pelican Isle again but I would probably choose a different unit with Legacy Vacations.

The condo was located perfectly for a family gateway with kids. The rooms were clean and the kitchen was stuffed with plenty of utensils. We enjoyed beautiful views of the gulf from our living room and the balconies all day long. I would definitely live to visit again.

Absolutely great place! So clean! Kitchen fully stocked with kitchenware! Layout is great with plenty of seating! It just needs new mattresses! King size bed had a ditch on one side and a ski slope on the other! The queen is just soft. But would recommend completely. Easy fix!

We had a wonderful time, weather was perfect and view was absolutely beautiful. We really appreciated the complimentary beach chairs so we didn't have to lug our own down to the beach. The condo was very clean when we arrived. My only complaint is the furniture and datedness of the condo itself. My husband had trouble sleeping because the bed was so uncomfortable. We went to open the curtains to the balcony and the entire curtain rod fell apart. The lock on the balcony door was also broken and was "locked" with a board holding it closed. We had a wonderful time, weather was perfect and view was absolutely beautiful. We really appreciated the complimentary beach chairs so we didn't have to lug our own down to the beach. The condo was very clean when we arrived. My only complaint is the furniture and datedness of the condo itself. My husband had trouble sleeping because the bed was so uncomfortable. We went to open the curtains to the balcony and the entire curtain rod fell apart. The lock on the balcony door was also broken and was "locked" with a board holding it closed. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Last minute accommodation. Paying for the view. Patio chairs were broken and when you used them you would be poked with the broken pieces. Kitchen chairs were dirty. Living room table was wobbly. Definitely needs to have some updates and new/functioning decor. Beach front complimentary services were a let down. Waited at the guys seat where the sign and color was for 5-7 minutes to get out chairs/unberalla set up and the attendant said “did you walk down the beach to see if there are any open”. Ummm, they all had items in them or reserved signs on the back. So needless to say, we didn’t get a set up because apparently we were asking too much of him. Overall we paid too much for what we received but if you’re just wanting a view, then this may be for you. On the other hand, Beverly was nice to work with.

The condo is functional and serves its purpose but it needs a lot of TLC and several upgrades. The one great thing about the condo is the property management company Legacy Vacations. I had a couple of issues and I text the number provided and I heard back immediately and they came very quickly to fix the issues and the lady who came was very nice and helpful. The location of the condo on Okaloosa Island was beautiful and convenient and the free beach service was fantastic. I would definitely stay at Pelican Isle again but I would probably choose a different unit with Legacy Vacations.

Great location! You can see the beach from the balcony (there is ground floor parking, this is labeled as "Floor 1" but it is actually the second level up). You can hear the ocean! It is a close walk to the beach and the fact they include an umbrella and 2 beach chairs set up by the beach service is FANTASTIC! You do have to walk up and over the short bridge, so just FYI for anyone considering a wagon (leave it home). Clean. Beds were ALL comfy - even for the adults on the bunks! Mattresses were very comfortable. The couch was worn and decompressed. But everything else was wonderful!

A wonderful condo! Rooms were very clean and smelled clean, too. The kitchen had anything you could ask for. The bed was very comfortable! We loved our view and sitting on balcony eating! Would definitely recommend and hope to come back soon!

The condo was roomy, very clean and had everything needed for cooking and serving meals if you wanted. Access to the beach was easy enough - but there are stairs to climb to cross over the sand dunes. The beach was fantastic and free beach chairs!!! I liked the second row for me - a little more space!! Everyone was very friendly. A very nice place to stay!!

We have stayed in this condo for the past 2 years. It is everything you want in a vacation home. The location is perfect, beach front and close to so many great restaurants. Unfortunately, we will not be returning next year due the increasing costs.

Would have been nice to have a restaurant/ bar onsite but other than that we couldnt have been happier. I was so happy to get 2 chairs and umbrella every day on the beach. Gorgeous views. Would definitely stay again!

The condo was clean, the front desk attendant was helpful and very nice, I also loved how easy it was to get to the beach from the condo. I would definitely stay again and even though the storm messed up our last two days at the beach, the condo was so comfortable that it was still an enjoyable couple of days!

Seamless entry/exit & all door codes + wifi password communicated prior to arrival. Very clean & great beachfront view. Easy access to beach chairs & umbrella. My only knock is the bed was hard but other than that it was a wonderful stay & I'd come again.

We had a good week there and the condo was great as condos go. We had bad weather which they have no control over, so we spent more time here than we probably would have. The condo was comfortable for the six of us who traveled there and we enjoyed our stay.

The check is was horrible. We arrived a little early so I texted southern rental vacation they said we could go ahead and enter the condo. We put all our stuff in the room took a short walk on the beach came back to the room. We were locked out. Called them they said they couldn’t help up because they didn’t have a credit card on file. I explained that my wallet and phone were in the room. They wouldn’t budge finally after talking to a supervisor I was given access to the room on the condition I gave them my credit card number. We called the police and filled a report. After that everything went smoothly. We texted them and asked for one more day. They gave us another day at a good price. Again we were locked out of the room. It took about ten minutes for them to let us in. For the most part they were easy to work with except the check in. It was absolutely ridiculous that the first man we spoke with would not help us at all. We both made the best of it and had a great vacation. I would stay at that property again

Clean, great view, all was great but was listed as 2 bedroom 2 bath but was only 1 bedroom 2 bath, had a very uncomfortable sleeper sofa that we couldn’t sleep on, so bought an air mattress. Not sure who was a fault but we paid the price. Other than that all was ok.
