Toilet made lots of noise after flushing. Room not as clean as I would have liked. Very limited parking. Free wifi did not work very well. The person working at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. For the cost of this hotel it was underwhelming.

Shockingly overpriced, Knights Inn teeters on the edge between urban street chic and flop house. It\'s obviously being used as "temporary" housing for families with adults and kids who never seem to sleep. The rooms are very down at the heel, furnished with worn out stuff, thread bare linen, and very tired climate control. The staff however is friendly and responsive, and the five car garage with a locking entrance door is a comfort, once you\'ve squeezed in.

The room was very comfortable and very clean. However they did not have continental breakfast after paying almost $700 for three nights. There was banging constantly coming from upstairs all night long and I could not connect to the WiFi.

I guess you cannot expect too much for 100$ a night in NYC... but still. No on-site parking available. There are car parks nearby, but it's between 40 and 60$ per day, and I definitely wouldn't street park because of the neighborhood The hotel really needs some renovations and is generally in poor condition. The room was not very clean. No breakfast. Only convenience: the subway (D) is within a few minutes walking distance. Only stayed one day and then moved into the Holiday Inn across the street. More expensive but better comfort and clean rooms.

Unfortunately, the photos shown were not the same as the room we were given. There was a weird smell, no toilet paper in the bathroom - the shower was disgusting. Dirty walls and floor. Location is not in the greatest area. We checked in and lasted an hour and a half, we were very uncomfortable and uneasy, fortunately, minus a $50 cancellation fee we were refunded.

Staff are always friendly and accomodating, but the rooms are not clean. Of course, the toilet and sink get cleaned, but if u look, there's dirt in all the less obvious spots, plus stains on doors and walls, and roaches every time.

The room and hotel was filthy , mold on the curtains the maid only came one time so we had a bu ch of trash and no towels I had to go ask for them and to take the trash out. It smelled like cigarettes even tho it’s a “non smoking” just horrible.

There were very limited food options around the property. There was a lot of warehouses and other small businesses around the property. The bed was ok. There were cockroaches in the room and the floor was a little dirty. The front desk staff didn't seem to understand some of the guests and got people confused.

I have no idea how this place could justify the cost for the experience. Horribly small sized rooms, dirty, extremely dated decor, faulty electricity in the bathroom, broken hair dryer, horrible looking garage space, etc. Even in NYC, I’d expect this to be a bottom priced hotel. Front desk people were fine enough.

If you are looking for a more authentic NY experience, this place would be perfect. Not sure if it has anything to do with me being from a rural area but the noise was a bit overwhelming. Phones ringing loudly in the middle of the night and cleaning ladies working late with little to no regard for sleeping guests.

Rooms are tiny. Space is limited unlike in photos. Areas and room were dirty and restroom wasnt cleaned. Only stayed/ kept one night. Checked out early and went across the street to holiday inn instead.

It’s a very tired facility in what my aunt - a Park Slope resident of 20+ years - calls a liminal neighborhood They were good with the room assignment, due to a higher rate, top floor, angled view of lower downtown Manhattan

It was honestly a nice little stay, they could however do some very small simple things to improve the rooms. A good deep cleaning, replacing missing or damaged outlet covers, repainting trimming, replacing the cheap glitchy TV with a cheap not glitchy TV. It was nice that there were plenty of USB outlets, that's frankly an issue I've had with several hotels I've stayed at recently, surprising in this day and age. Overall good for a cheap emergency stay.

I booked two rooms, one under my name and the other under my colleague. He went to check in @5pm. They said they don't have the reservations. After showing them the ref # & confirmation email, still can't find. after 20 min, they find under my name but would not let my colleague check in because I'm not there. He leaves, tells them to forget it. I get a call @1am asking if we're still coming, I tell them about the earlier fiasco and they apologize but they have found both reservations. I tell them, it's 1AM, are you kidding me?! STAY AWAY!!! HORRIBLE!!!

I had a good experience. Traveling is becoming to be so expensive. So to find a hotel that is a 3 star hotel especially in New York for a less than $250 for one night. Is a reward. It was clean and the 2 guys in the office were cool.

Great location and very close to subway. Nice and fast check in with a nice guy at the reception. The hotel room was good but the only minus is the smell. It smells a little bad, but we got used to it and enjoyed our stay in Brooklyn

WOW! All things considered, I’ve stayed over the past year at a few random, with a Google search, affordable hotels for unplanned over night stays in the Brooklyn / NYC areas. Adding this hotel 1st time stay this year stood out among many others. In that I was treated really nicely from my initial inquire via a phone call follow-up after just booking on line via EXPEDIA. To a go out of the way receptionist at an early morning hour who made sure personally I was literally guided into an inside the clean building’s parking spot — It was truly beyond regular customer service for the star level that this affordable hotel is categorized. HIGHLY and BRAVO RECOMMENDED! It will become my go to place in the hood. Thank you!

Decent budget pick. Ac, tv, bed, microwave, mini fridge were all great. I guess you cannot expect too much for 100$ a night in NYC... but still. No on-site parking available. There are car parks nearby, but it's between 40 and 60$ per day, and I definitely wouldn't street park because of the neighborhood The hotel really needs some renovations and is generally in poor condition. The room was not very clean. No breakfast. Only convenience: the subway (D) is within a few minutes walking distance. Only stayed one day and then moved into the Holiday Inn across the street. More expensive but better comfort and clean rooms.

Unfortunately, the photos shown were not the same as the room we were given. There was a weird smell, no toilet paper in the bathroom - the shower was disgusting. Dirty walls and floor. Location is not in the greatest area. We checked in and lasted an hour and a half, we were very uncomfortable and uneasy, fortunately, minus a $50 cancellation fee we were refunded.

Great location and very close to subway. Nice and fast check in with a nice guy at the reception. The hotel room was good but the only minus is the smell. It smells a little bad, but we got used to it and enjoyed our stay in Brooklyn

The room was very comfortable and very clean. However they did not have continental breakfast after paying almost $700 for three nights. There was banging constantly coming from upstairs all night long and I could not connect to the WiFi.

Their property does not look like the pictures in fact it looks even worse so be prepared for that. The hotel is also around the corner from a bar that plays music quite loudly on Fridays and Saturday nights One of the residents during my stay had a few mental health issues and was constantly screaming and shouting at night which kept me up but that isn’t on the hotel however I’m not sure if the staff were aware or done anything about it as this happened for the duration of my stay. The pillows are also the size of couch cushions and they do not have clean covers I was there for four nights at around $800 and if I’m being honest, it was not worth the price however for that price range in New York City it’s what you’re going to expect

Every time I left to explore the city, I would come back to a clean and comfortable room. The staff was always so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, always greeting us with smiles. I also really appreciated how easy and stress-free they made visits with guests compared to other hotels. Overall I had a wonderful stay and felt very welcomed here 😊
