The hotel definitely deserves your attention. You get amazing views, 3 pools, private beach and good connections around the island. We had a car and parking was free and gated at night. Everything is clean, maybe not in perfect condition , which is fine as the island is not a luxury destination. The breakfast was basic but good, every day some items changed. We had dinner as well and we were all pleasantly surprised. You should pay attention to the building your room is as it can be in the old/heritage mâine area or the other two that are new and modern.

Staff was courteous, nice that they had their restaurant however the back seating area was dirty, the shower gels could have been topped up.

The location of the hotel was beautiful. The rooms were superb and clean. We loved the private beach and the pool. A huge, huge thank you to the servers and the kitchen staff at the restaurant. I arrived one day and really wanted a veggie roti. They only had chicken and beef on the menu. I asked our server if they had veggie and she said to me "not now but if you want one for dinner I will ask the kitchen to have it ready for you". And they did. And it was delicious! Even better - I didn't finish the full roti as it was massive. The wonderful server said no worries - she packed it for me and said I could bring it to the restaurant at any time and they would reheat it for me. I did this and got two meals for one. I so appreciated this. The only downside was that the bathroom in our room did not have a door. Not a design choice that I like but other than that everything was great.

Tired hotel with gardens covered in weeds and no staff anywhere . Unfriendly reception staff who don’t make you feel welcome. Overpriced food which isn’t great quality. The spa benefit isn’t worth it as the prices are so high, (it’s like they added the benefit to the price). They make you feel bad for asking for a beach towel and sometimes don’t have any available. On the whole this hotel feels like it has been great in another time 10 or twenty years ago.
