It’s in a good location to do the Amish tours and to visit the farm villages. Our room was in the carriage house. It needs updating/improvement and I found the room/floors dusty. The main area looked great with shops & Dining room. The pool area was popular with kids. The lush green grassy walking paths were highlights!

Stay was great except no elevators to room. Either had to go up two flights in back of property or go up 3 flights near lobby. Did not work well for my husband or taking luggage to and from room. Only way to avoid steps is request first floor and enter through back or book in carriage house or farm house

Lets see, our experience was not that good during our stay. I'm just going to point out the facts so they speak for themselves. For being a resort this is what we were forced to do. We were told months prior that the pool was heated but when we arrived we found out that the Pool was NOT heated so we couldn't use it as it was freezing cold. SORRY KIDS! Checking was after 3pm , the entire family was hungry but to our surprise the in house restaurant had closed at 2pm that day. We ended up leaving the resort to get food and when we came back we just explored the grounds which they are beautiful. So in summary we were lied about the pool, we couldn't eat so it doesnt sound like much of a resort to me. Shame on hershey!

Property is beautiful, however, biggest issue is there isn’t an elevator to get to main hotel rooms above the lobby floor. Customers have to their luggage up flight of stairs. Not helpful for senior citizens or those who have disabilities or handicap issues.

My husband and I loved our stay. The grounds are beautiful , the rooms are clean and updated ( we stayed one night in the carriage and second night in the main). The staff is very friendly ( especially Raymond and Megan and the staff At breakfast). They have a nice pool that we enjoyed. We also walked to the Sight and Sound theater. Oh and they have delicious ice-cream that you order at the front desk.

Beautiful 23 acres, lots of options to sit inside, walk outside. All areas very clean, friendly staff, short walking path (lit after dark) to Sight & SoundTheater. Well appointed and comfortable room. Delicious and huge selection for complimentary breakfast.

I love that they have a wonderful breakfast, rooms were spotless, great walking trail and also easy access to sight and sound theater. Although they were in construction mode , it was a little rough around the outside which is to be expected. The area behind the construction was wonderful and we absolute loved the animals. We fed them and just had a wonderful time.

The room and lobby were very dated. The floor of the room desperately needed a deep clean. The bottom of our feet were filthy from walking around the room. Breakfast isn’t served until 8am so if you have plans early don’t count on the free breakfast. Onsite shops are cute. The cafe and grounds are nice.

I don’t think this was worth the price we paid. The photos are misleading. Our bathroom was dark and dirty. Where we stayed was a poorly renovated motel. Maybe the main property is different. The decorations were nice but the overall upgrades were poorly done and it wasn’t super clean. We were close to the main road so it was incredibly noisy and there is currently major construction throughout the property. The best part was the breakfast which was really nice and delicious. It was just ok, not really the Hershey experience though.

Overall, my daughter and I enjoyed our stay. The complimentary breakfast was good; the wait staff was friendly and attentive. I wish the restaurant and shoppes were open when we went, but that part of the hotel was still under construction. The outdoor pool and hotel grounds were nice. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because there were water stains on the white sliding bathroom/closet doors in our room. It was the first thing my daughter and I noticed when we entered. In addition, I killed two spiders that were in the bathroom during our stay. Therefore, I questioned the cleanliness of the room. I shared this feedback with the front desk upon check out.

Upon entering the room we could barely open the small entry door as it hit the sink... the bathroom door was barely clearing the toilet. Our bathtub was dirty- curtain had mold and hair and the tub had hair. Someone quickly came in to clean it, upon calling the front desk. Pool needed cleaning. Overall, a wonderful trip for my husband and me. Walking distance to Sight & Sounds was a nice bonus. Service and food were outstanding. The only issue was that we felt the room size and lack of dresser for the price per night were inadequate.

The property had a fire and so some parts were not available. The carriage house rooms were extremely tiny for the high price of the room. The room was close to $200 but the quality was more a $60 room. The bedding was average. Very cramped. Walls extremely thin. I could hear the television show and conversation and sex from guests in the next room! Bathroom was nicely decorated but shower curtain was very used and dirty. The soap dish was chipped and peeling of the plastic resin paint. Pretty disgusting. The breakfast was good. Delicious eggs, fruit and pancakes. The juice was a tiny mouthwash cupful. Felt extremely cheap in plastic. Staff was professional and very nice. Would not recommend this hotel for lack of privacy sound in rooms, tiny rooms, dated condition of bathroom. The soap and toiletries were extremely tiny! So very tacky.

Hershey Farm Resort is a gem in the heart of beautiful Amish Country! My husband and I usually stay here when visiting Lancaster (We had even stayed here before the fire destroyed this Lancaster icon). Our recent room was the deluxe king room with balcony. Since we booked through Expedia, we did not have our choice of the first or second floor "balcony" and as such, were assigned a room on the first floor. May reconsider when booking again to be on second floor. Room itself was bright and beautiful. Both restaurants are wonderful!! Food was great, lots of options at the tremendous buffet, but the service and ambiance was amazing! We were blessed to have our server for lunch to be Kimberly, who had been our server the last time we were here. She was memorable from that experience, and went above and beyond when learning it was my birthday!! Definitely made it special! Shame on me for not remembering the name of our server for breakfast...she too was wonderful!! Even offered to warm my danish when seeing it on the table!! Grill chef who made my husband's cheesesteak and my black bean burger for lunch as well as the grill chef who prepared our eggs in the morning, were both so friendly and accommodating!! I would not hesitate recommending the Hershey Farm Resort to anyone who is looking to visit beautiful Lancaster County!!

The room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the walls were paper thin. We could hear even a standard volume conversation from the room next to us. The mattress and pillows were too soft for my comfort, and the blinds did not block the bright light from outside our room. My husband put a blanket up over the window to darken the room, but still our sleep quality was not the greatest. Overall, the hotel and grounds looked lovely, but it's unlikely we'll stay there again.

Our stay started off rocky with wifi not working inside our room (I guess the router didn’t reach that far). I won’t say which room it was since I was told no one else had ever complained about that particular issue, so I’ll chuck it up to my service provider (which worked in every other spot). Anyway, I expressed my concerns and wishes to move to a different room which they obliged. Thankfully, WiFi worked perfectly there and our stay certainly improved. As far as the room, next time I’m definitely staying in the king deluxe because the bathroom in the double queen is in desperate need of an upgrade. Besides that, the property itself is stunning and the breakfast buffet is heads and shoulders above every other hotel breakfast I’ve had. Also, the location is unmatched. To say the least, this will definitely be my go to hotel moving forward.

We stayed at the Carriage House and it was ok the beds are just full size so definitely smaller than use to but the breakfast was the best I prob wouldn’t stay there just because of the size of room but everyone was so friendly and the best breakfast buffet for sure

Front staff lady could not have been more helpful. Buffet is outstanding. 3-4 minute walk to Sight-n-Sound was wonderful. I wil definitely stay here the next time I come for a show.

Staff were so kind and helpful during our stay. When we needed anything they quickly and respectfully gave it to us with a smile on their face. The room we stayed is was 2 queen beds. They decor and style of the room was very nice and updated. The room was very spacious along with a big bathroom with a double sink vanity. In all of the hotels I've stayed at this one had the biggest television so far. The cable connection was a little slow but not a major problem. The beds were a little too soft for my liking but my other families really liked that, I'm used to a more firm bed. One of the best amenities for this resort was their breakfast buffet. To say it was good is an understatement. There was everything from made-to-order omelets, bacon, pancakes, grits, sticky buns, hash browns as well as dessert items; ice cream, pies, cakes and whoopie pies. The grounds were beautiful with walking paths, a pond with a fountain, playground, and some farm animals to view. The location of the resort was great. We were close enough to restaurants and stores with also being farm enough away where it was calm and relaxing. I would definitely stay at this resort again if ever in the area.

Amazing staff. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. They genuinely wanted you to have a wonderful experience. Despite the large fire the staff made seem less accommodations to ensure a wonderful experience during the rebuilding process

Beautiful 23 acres, lots of options to sit inside, walk outside. All areas very clean, friendly staff, short walking path (lit after dark) to Sight & SoundTheater. Well appointed and comfortable room. Delicious and huge selection for complimentary breakfast.

We loved being within walking distance of the Sight and Sound theaters and within driving distance to Hershey for a quick Chocolate visit. We think the bathroom could use at least one more towel bar or some hooks, but that's our opinion. Had a productive Cafe 23 visit. The included Great Smorgasbord breakfast was fantastic! We had freshly made omelets and really enjoyed the baked goods offerings. There was plenty of bacon, eggs, and sausages to go around. The music was appropriate and very calm- great for the morning ! We would definitely stay again.

Hershey Farm Resort is a gem in the heart of beautiful Amish Country! My husband and I usually stay here when visiting Lancaster (We had even stayed here before the fire destroyed this Lancaster icon). Our recent room was the deluxe king room with balcony. Since we booked through Expedia, we did not have our choice of the first or second floor "balcony" and as such, were assigned a room on the first floor. May reconsider when booking again to be on second floor. Room itself was bright and beautiful. Both restaurants are wonderful!! Food was great, lots of options at the tremendous buffet, but the service and ambiance was amazing! We were blessed to have our server for lunch to be Kimberly, who had been our server the last time we were here. She was memorable from that experience, and went above and beyond when learning it was my birthday!! Definitely made it special! Shame on me for not remembering the name of our server for breakfast...she too was wonderful!! Even offered to warm my danish when seeing it on the table!! Grill chef who made my husband's cheesesteak and my black bean burger for lunch as well as the grill chef who prepared our eggs in the morning, were both so friendly and accommodating!! I would not hesitate recommending the Hershey Farm Resort to anyone who is looking to visit beautiful Lancaster County!!

The Inn at Hershey Farm did not disappoint! We were in the area for a show at the Sight and Sound Theater. It was a short walk along an established path to arrive at the theater. Several dining options were within a very short drive and lots of shopping options were nearby. We enjoyed the walking path on the property that led to a pond and a little barn with small farm animals. Looking forward to visiting again when the on-site restaurant reopens. It looks like it will be gorgeous!

Absolutely Amazing Resort, Beautiful Updated Barn Style rooms with Very Modern Bathroom, The Shower With Rain Shower and Wand with Beautiful White and Black tile. Breakfast/Brunch Buffet was good with a made to order omelet station.

Lets see, our experience was not that good during our stay. I'm just going to point out the facts so they speak for themselves. For being a resort this is what we were forced to do. We were told months prior that the pool was heated but when we arrived we found out that the Pool was NOT heated so we couldn't use it as it was freezing cold. SORRY KIDS! Checking was after 3pm , the entire family was hungry but to our surprise the in house restaurant had closed at 2pm that day. We ended up leaving the resort to get food and when we came back we just explored the grounds which they are beautiful. So in summary we were lied about the pool, we couldn't eat so it doesnt sound like much of a resort to me. Shame on hershey!

We booked this hotel since we have stayed there before and had a good experience. This stay was advertised with a breakfast buffet (which we did last time and loved), and while this was advertised on the website…when we checked in, we were told breakfast wasn’t hosted on Mondays. Disappointing since it was a factor in booking.

Restaurant is not open on Monday. Doesn't open until 8am. Very large buffet. No drapes in the room cheap blinds so the parking light shined through the blinds.

At first we thought how beautiful but then once we were into our room the bathroom was quite tight. We were a family of 5 staying in 2 queen room, 2 under 5. Sink is outside of the bathroom in main room... issue withblittle who want to play in water. Bathtub was dirty with what looked to be sand, washed that up so I could bath me littles .. went to do bed and the extra sheets had some sort of white substance on them.... the floor was carpeted but with the Littles running around there feet were black by bedtime withing 45 min after bath. We did utilize the play areas unfortunately thought they are over run with geese and babies sooo play at your own risk. They do have a small area for animals you can pet/feed. Again it was cute and kept the littles occupied in that way. The cost vs the cleanliness was deff a disappointment and the front desk seemed as though she wanted to help but really no remedy.
