Motel 6-Portland, ME

Wir wurden sehr unfreundlich empfangen. Die Umgebung war sehr düster, es schlichen Obdachlose herum und wir fühlten uns nicht sicher. Nach 10 Minuten haben wir wieder ausgecheckt.

Großer Parkplatz, freundliches Personal und ein neu renoviertes Zimmer. Preis - Leistung ist in Ordnung. Schade das es keine Frühstücksoption gibt.

This place needs renovation and to keep staff that knows how to maintain the property. I had a handicap accessible room,no coffee maker, no mini fridge, no hair dryer or complementary soap or shampoo. The toilet was constantly soaked from humidity and I had to leave the bathroom fan on all night to dry it. It said no smoking but there was so much pot being smoked that my 15 month old puppy, retired veteran husband and I had to block under the door with a towel because no one could breathe. We couldn't open the window for air because people were smoking outside our window. The floor was so sticky if you walked in socks, you stuck to the floor. One door in and out which looks like someone broke into it cause it just swings in the wind and won't close normally..I saw more people on drugs than general people normally seen at motels. I know that some places are struggling but it doesn't show if it's managed correctly. Breakfast bar is coffee only and microwave is in the lobby, looks nothing like the website. Don't stay,unless you are desperate. We needed be in portland for a family member who was critical in the hospital..I have seen rest stops in better condition.

The room was clean, and new, however, very high bleach smell and no amenities. I will not choose this hotel again.

While walking in, there was a naked man leering at us from a 2nd floor window. The place was filthy. Carpets were disgusting. Cigarette butts inside on the floor. Drugged out looking people everywhere. Does not look anything like the pictures. Security doors were broken. Got to the room and left within 2 minutes. It smelled like cat pee, was tiny, dirty and the bed was a glorified cot. We were appalled. The front desk agent was not surprised at all that we were leaving. Were told we will not be refunded. It seemed like a drug motel, to be honest. Not safe at all.
