The Sycamore Guest House er et koselig lite hotell med kort vei til og fra jernbane og bysentrum i York. Alt var rent og pent, og atmosfæren trivelig. Rommet vi bodde på var hjemmekoselig innredet, og sengene over gjennomsnittet komfortable. God og variert frokost i hyggelige omgivelser. Topp service fra vertskapet!

I would highly recommend this traditional family run guest house. A lovely welcome from Spyros. He explained everything in terms of the amenities of the property with the sence of pride on his face. After settling into our room we set off for the day, before leaving Spyros took us through the highlights of York and gave us brochures and Maps to assist with our itinerary. In the morning we were given a choice of a Continental or a lovely all you can eat English breakfast. The service from Natalie and Kaldydira was exceptional… all of the family couldn’t do enough us to ensure a comfortable stay. The personal touch makes a real difference! All this in a very short distance from the train station and a 10 minute walk to the city centre.

The hotel is really well located to the railway station by using the bridge crossing available directly from inside the station. Room 5 was on the small side, but warm and comfortable. Shower was small but good hot water pressure. The included breakfast was the star of the show. Delicious. Spies was accommodating and a great personality. Lovely quiet area.

Sehr gut geführtes Gäste Haus mit Parkmöglichkeit direkt vor dem Haus in einer Sackgasse. 15 min ins Zentrum. Gutes Frühstück.
