A stylish and thoughtfully designed unit with all the comforts and amenities that we needed. Top quality, totally clean. Rooftop patio great for a glass of wine in the evenings. Many dining options and great transit access along Dundas St. West. A lively, funky, safe neighbourhood.

Property is very unique. Rooms are very comfortable. Location is fabulous. One of the best parts of Toronto. Many cafes and restaurants close by. Hotel has a very nice roof top deck.

Erica - the owner - is attentive and accommodating. She lives upstairs so is close by to assist with anything you may need - ice, more clean towels. Etc. We had the “black and yellow” room - the little apartment next to the rooftop deck - which we enjoyed sitting out there; it has many cushioned chairs and seating, and umbrella to sit under. The neighborhood is walkable and has restaurants in the area, and a drug store next door to Ode. We look forward to our next visit at Ode!

The owners made the visit super warm. We really enjoyed the experience, especially the rooftop patio. It was reminiscent of the Dunns Josephine in MIA. Room 3 was spacious and full of amenities.

It's a cute little boutique hotel that matches the vibe of the community it's in. Anything you could want Is all around you and it doesn't feel like you're in a massive city. The owners are very friendly and the roof top patio is great. There is a BBQ up there which isn't advertised.

This was a great place to stay. All new and trendy things in the room and a private rooftop deck to hang out and relax. The greeter was excellent, very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again!

So pleased we found this intimate, family-owned hotel in Little Portugal. The rooms are exactly as shown in the photos and immaculately clean. We were greeted by Erica, who had obvious pride in the property, and with good reason. While the rooms are not massive, they are very well laid out and beautifully appointed with decor pieces by local artists and special touches like sumptuous linens and crystal glassware. Our only regret was not having the opportunity to take advantage of the pretty rooftop terrace. Next time!

The owner herself went above and beyond, showing such kindness and attentiveness to ensure my stay was perfect. The staff proactively communicated with me to ensure some one was there to check me in as soon as I arrived. The room was spotless and amenities top notch. I had a lovely chat with the owner about best local coffee and breakfast options. It was a perfect visit.

Cutest little place in a great neighborhood with lots of little shops and restaurants nearby. Easily accessed by public transportation but street parking also available with parking permits. It was perfect for me -- very comfortable, clean, great decor, and staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything in the room, including kitchenette with cutlery worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting more than the run-of-the mill impersonal hotel or B&B where things don't always go as planned.

I was very impressed with Ode. When I first arrived at the hotel, I was a bit concerned, as there was no check-in desk or lobby and I had to store my luggage before I could check in. However, Erica accommodated me by allowing me to leave my bag in a room that was being cleaned. I came back to check in later. My room was very, very nice - the size of a small studio apartment, with a kitchenette and a large sitting area, as well as the bed. The room was comfortable and clean and very nicely appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and well-maintained. It was a wet room, but I did not mind. Erica also showed me the rooftop deck. I did not use it but appreciated its availability. Overall, a very positive experience. I was impressed with the service, the quality of the rooms. The hotel is also right on a streetcar line, which was very convenient.

The rooms are beautifully decorated. Some are small but mine had a bed, bath, living and kitchen area. From the outside you would not know what a gem this place is! The owner gives her number to text if you need anything and is very eager to help with anything. I plan on coming back in the summer so i can enjoy the roof area!

Everything is perfect about this wonderful hotel. We love staying here. The hosts are so kind and helpful, and the hotel is a project of love and creativity - with colorful, playful artistic interiors completely unlike other hotels; like spending a few nights in a painting. The location of the hotel is great and was nearby everything I needed! The room itself was incredibly spacious, comfortable, very well designed, and clean. I was in shock to find Malin + Goetz shampoo, conditioner, body, and hand wash stocked in the bathroom. I did not want to leave! Will definitely be booking here on my next visit to Toronto.

For us, Ode's location is tough to beat, with their close proximity to numerous great cafes, bars and shops along Dundas. The amenities within the suite were very thoughtfully furnished. Loved the bath products and eye patches set out on the pillows! We stayed only two nights but would have been comfortable for at Ode for a much longer visit too. We would certainly book again.

The room was good. And location was really great for the price. Two negatives. The bathroom faces the bed and as it has glass partition the light disturbs your partner if you use the toilet at night. But the main issue is we were in a room slightly lower than ground level and despite nit being right next to thr street, the street cars did cause a fair bit of noise and vibration making having a later start somewhat harder. But overall excellent value, especially if you are a heavy sleeper. We also liked being shown around our room. We did not see or speak to any staff after initially being shown our room, and is closer to bring an airbnb than hotel. Great if you want to be left alone- less great if you need help with things, advice and tips etc from a hotel 'front desk'

The property is just amazing. Such cool vibes and so unique. Our room was great with everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable too. All the little touches were just so nice from the welcome pink popcorn to the eye patch masks on the pillows. The staff were so helpful and accommodating every step of the way. We had a later flight the day we checked out and they were kind enough to hold our luggage for us so we could do some shopping in the area which is another huge plus to the Ode, it's location. So many amazing bars, restaurants and shopping spots including some of the best vintage shops I have ever been too. The coffee shop two doors down, Hanks, was incredible too. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and would absolutely come back and stay here again.

Absolutely outstanding stay here at Ode. Wonderful welcome as I walked in and was even taken to my room and shown around our the room. So many small touches that truly matter to someone like me. Family ran, maps for local shops/restaurants, refillable water bottle, eye masks, and even dishes were beautiful and likely bought from a local shop nearby. I wish I could’ve stayed here all week, heck I’d live here! Thanks so much to Erica and whoever helped make my stay so special and CLEAN!!

I love that this is a family owned, female owned and black owned business. That is a big reason why I selected it and wanted to stay here. However there are a few things that made the stay a little subpar. Number one, the check in situation is very strange-- i had to be in direct communication with owner via text, from which they then texted me a door code and told me which room number I was in. It was unlocked with the keys inside and this made me feel a bit unsafe knowing my door was only locked by a key and very close to the entry door to the street. There is no additional lock on the door so I put the coffee table in front of the door every night for extra protection. It felt more like an airbnb. The noise was also a bit of an issue, as construction started at 10am with hammering, and music from the bar next door was blasting loudly in my basement room way past 2:30am (this was a tuesday night). There is also a card game about sex foreplay in the room-- I'm totally in support of being sex positive, but it made me feel like maybe my room was also a sex dungeon lol. Overall I think this is a great affordable place if you need a place to stay last minute. But being a female alone on a work trip I felt a bit nervous but I would stay here again if I wasn't alone, and considering the construction isn't all the time. Just want people to know what to expect!

Ode is a beautiful, personalized and comfortable property in the heart of Little Portugal. Our stay was amazing, from the small, thoughtful details in the room, to the communication from the hotel, to the helpfulness of the staff. We wished we could have stayed even longer because it really felt like home! On the first day, our shower drain was a bit slow, and the maintenance team was quick, professional, and effective in helping us out. Ode is a beautiful, personalized and comfortable property in the heart of Little Portugal. Our stay was amazing, from the small, thoughtful details in the room, to the communication from the hotel, to the helpfulness of the staff. We wished we could have stayed even longer because it really felt like home! On the first day, our shower drain was a bit slow, and the maintenance team was quick, professional, and effective in helping us out. Erica and her team were a dream and provided us with recommendations of what to do in the neighborhood. We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be back!

Erica - the owner - is attentive and accommodating. She lives upstairs so is close by to assist with anything you may need - ice, more clean towels. Etc. We had the “black and yellow” room - the little apartment next to the rooftop deck - which we enjoyed sitting out there; it has many cushioned chairs and seating, and umbrella to sit under. The neighborhood is walkable and has restaurants in the area, and a drug store next door to Ode. We look forward to our next visit at Ode!

The staff proactively communicated with me to ensure some one was there to check me in as soon as I arrived. The room was spotless and amenities top notch. I had a lovely chat with the owner about best local coffee and breakfast options. It was a perfect visit.

The owner was in touch with me the whole time. I received texts about check in and other helpful communication that put me at ease. The owner visited the property to check in with me and was super nice and helpful. The room was very clean. It was rustic and had a cool vibe.

The room was good. And location was really great for the price. Two negatives. The bathroom faces the bed and as it has glass partition the light disturbs your partner if you use the toilet at night. But the main issue is we were in a room slightly lower than ground level and despite nit being right next to thr street, the street cars did cause a fair bit of noise and vibration making having a later start somewhat harder. But overall excellent value, especially if you are a heavy sleeper. We also liked being shown around our room. We did not see or speak to any staff after initially being shown our room, and is closer to bring an airbnb than hotel. Great if you want to be left alone- less great if you need help with things, advice and tips etc from a hotel 'front desk'

Location was awesome, it was very close to a lot of cafes, bars, dining, etc! Within walking distance to nightlife as well as a lot of food gems! First time in Toronto and felt very safe during our stay, surrounding neighbourhoods were beautiful and nice to stroll in to get to Ossington and other nice eats! Ode rooftop was amazing, perfect for morning coffee and/or nightcaps! We would stay here again and highly recommend!

The room was cozy, unique, and exactly what I needed. So much better than a bustling chain hotel. And the location is amazing, with transit access and dozens of great food options at your doorstep. Would definitely recommend.

The owners have done a great job of making Ode look unique. The rooms were super nice and cosy, with lovely amenities. Location-wise it was also absolutely perfect. I'd be sure to stay here again when I come back to Toronto.

Small hotel, very convenient to transport and to local dining options & shopping. Our visit being in winter we didn't try the rooftop deck, but certainly will if we visit in warmer weather!

The hotel has no reception, so they text you before to coordinate your arrival. They had my room ready and I could check in early. They showed me all the amenities of the room, which was very comfortable and nicely equipped. Everything was perfect in the room. The location is a bit far from downtown, but the room was great.

What a great experience staying at Ode! The area is fantastic with lots of shops and restaurants. We easily walked to nearby areas and enjoyed the beautiful residential side streets. The room was clean, eclectically decorated, and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. I would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Toronto that doesn’t want to stay in the typical hotels downtown.

If you are looking for a low key, comfortable place to stay that is beautifully managed but lightly staffed, this is a great choice in a great area. The rooms are big and full of thoughtful touches, so you feel taken care of but there is no reception or food on the premises. We would definitely stay again as we wanted to be out and about rather than hanging out at a hotel.

Très bel hôtel au design soigné, confortable et idéalement situé. Le personnel est également très sympathique et accueillant. J’aurais aimé pouvoir assister à un concert organisé sur place, mais malheureusement je n’ai pas pu. C’est certain que je recommanderai cet hôtel et que j’y retournerai sans hésiter lors d’un prochain séjour à Toronto !

Great location and great stay. Not your typical hotel though. Highly recommend it! One negative thing is that you can be like us in the basement but as we were exploring a lot it didn’t feel awful, but something worth mentioning if you need a lot of sunlight.

Super charming and friendly small hotel in the coolest neighbourhood of Toronto. The owners are so nice and helpful and always easy to reach. Walking distance to lots of entertainment and a streetcar stop for a 15 min ride to downtown right outside the door. Loved it and would come back in a heartbeat <3
