My experience was a mixed bag. Pros: The staff is very friendly. The bedrooms and the bathrooms are nice. The compound feels safe, and there is plenty of free parking. The outdoor spaces are pleasant and well equipped with robust furniture. Cons: The living room is very dark, and the furniture looks and feels like it's straight out of goodwill, with scratches and stains everywhere. The kitchen looks like it was last updated in the 1980s and smells of mould. The plumbing is clunky. It takes forever for warm water to arrive in the primary bathroom, and it's virtually impossible to adjust the temperature. The pool closes at 5 pm, which I find is too early. Overall, I would only recommend this residence if you plan to spend most of your stay outside the compound, sightseeing, hiking, cycling, or surfing. If you are looking for a place where you hope to spend most of your day, I would look at other options.

The resort and staff were fantastic. However it had not been made clear at time of booking with hotels.com that the pool area was being refurbished. We would have booked alternative accommodation.

Fabulous accommodation with lovely pool area. The apartments were really well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. There was also a filtered water tap which was really useful. There was no shop on site but you could order bread and pastries to be delivered each day. We hired a car which was really useful as it is about a 30 minute walk to the harbour area. I would definitely stay here again. 10/10

This was our second stay at Jardines del Sol and again we thoroughly enjoyed it. The complex is situated at the top end of Playa Blanca but only a 20 min walk to the Playa Flamingo beach and 10 mins from the water park. The complex itself is nice and quiet but there are good facilities including the bar & restaurant which serves very good food. The villa's are well equipped with the bonus of a full kitchen and appliances.

Lovely apartment and hotel. Great facilities, the filter tap for drinking water was a bonus. 15-20 minute walk into Play Blanca. Only let down was the pretty awful live music at the hotel bar every night which you can hear inside the apartment.

Third time we've stayed here, the resort is exceptionally clean everywhere. Staff always helpful and friendly. Had an issue with the drainage and the shower flooding the bathroom, one phone call had maintenance, fresh towels and housekeeping in within 10 minutes to sort. On site restaurant and bar not as good as previous stays as it has become well used by ex pats and local residents which unfortunately means service not up to par if you can actually get a table on event nights.
Third time we've stayed here, the resort is exceptionally clean everywhere. Staff always helpful and friendly. The staff at the hotel are great. They were extremely helpful. The only issue we had was ants in the sugar packets, but they were quick to offer a solution. We found it odd that you had to pay 2 euros to rent a pool towel.

We checked into the resort and found the receptionist to bw very helpful and polite. It was spotlessly clean throughout the resort and the apartment was also spotless. Facilities in the kitchen were very good and included a washing machine and dishwasher. The only down side was we could hear the next door neighbours talking very clearly when in the bedrooms , apart from that everything was perfect. I feel the resort is perfect for adults as it is very peaceful but did not see much for families with children to do to keep them entertained. Bailey Bar 2 was also excellent, the staff are amazing as is the food served there and all at very reasonable prices. I look forward to returning in the near future.

L'hotel a bien convenu à nos besoins avec un logement globalement bien équipé notamment la cuisine. Ceci dit un des lits doubles que nous devions avoir s'est avéré être un canapé-lit. La résidence est calme et bien entretenue, la piscine est un plus réel - mais la décoration n'est pas des plus récentes; certains équipements sont même un peu vieux comme les TV qui ne sont pas connectées (pas d'accès possibles aux services de streaming). Enfin, il faut avoir en tête que la résidence est un peu excentrée et qu'il faut près de 1h30 pour rejoindre les points les plus au nord de l'ile.

It's ok overall, bungalows are spacious but there is room for improvement with regards to service. Service ranged between absent to bare minimum. International standard for a hotel doesn't apply here (things like helping with carrying luggage etc.). Complaints are responded to with defensiveness - it's not a debate club but a transaction between a customer and a business. If the business fails to satisfy, then it's on the business, not the customer. Also, the food was edible, but could have been better. Given the relatively cheap price, I can rate it ok, though. On the other hand, I won't be coming back.

The staff at the hotel are great. They were extremely helpful. The only issue we had was ants in the sugar packets, but they were quick to offer a solution. We found it odd that you had to pay 2 euros to rent a pool towel.

It’s a good property, a long walk to the restaurants but we didn’t mind that. unfortunately there was noisy building work going on, we had to move rooms, we got a damp smell in the new one. The hotel did try to be accommodating and the filter water tap was excellent. Despite some inconvenience we’d go back.

L'hotel a bien convenu à nos besoins avec un logement globalement bien équipé notamment la cuisine. Ceci dit un des lits doubles que nous devions avoir s'est avéré être un canapé-lit. La résidence est calme et bien entretenue, la piscine est un plus réel - mais la décoration n'est pas des plus récentes; certains équipements sont même un peu vieux comme les TV qui ne sont pas connectées (pas d'accès possibles aux services de streaming). Enfin, il faut avoir en tête que la résidence est un peu excentrée et qu'il faut près de 1h30 pour rejoindre les points les plus au nord de l'ile.

The restaurant has a wonderful menu, no need to go out every night looking for a restaurant, the staff are amazing at the bar/restaurant. Good Cocktail choices, the prices for food and drink are great. Definitely recommend Jardines Del Sol, Playa Blanca, The location is great, my advice would be to rent a car you will see the entire island at your own leisure.

Fabulous accommodation with lovely pool area. The apartments were really well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. There was also a filtered water tap which was really useful. There was no shop on site but you could order bread and pastries to be delivered each day. We hired a car which was really useful as it is about a 30 minute walk to the harbour area. I would definitely stay here again. 10/10

The complex is situated at the top end of Playa Blanca but only a 20 min walk to the Playa Flamingo beach and 10 mins from the water park. The complex itself is nice and quiet but there are good facilities including the bar & restaurant which serves very good food. The villa's are well equipped with the bonus of a full kitchen and appliances.

Third time we've stayed here, the resort is exceptionally clean everywhere. Staff always helpful and friendly. Had an issue with the drainage and the shower flooding the bathroom, one phone call had maintenance, fresh towels and housekeeping in within 10 minutes to sort. On site restaurant and bar not as good as previous stays as it has become well used by ex pats and local residents which unfortunately means service not up to par if you can actually get a table on event nights.

It's ok overall, bungalows are spacious but there is room for improvement with regards to service. Service ranged between absent to bare minimum. International standard for a hotel doesn't apply here (things like helping with carrying luggage etc.). Complaints are responded to with defensiveness - it's not a debate club but a transaction between a customer and a business. This is meant to be a 4 star apart-hotel. The rooms are a decent size however we were never told that the room did not get cleaned every day - it is not in the hotel description (I rechecked just make sure I hadn't missed anything) when we got to the hotel, we were then told that our room would be cleaned once during the stay and to keVe our towels on the floor if we wanted them replaced - which we did and they were. However, the room was not cleaned, in fact the only thing they did was to replace the towels. There wasn't a table wiped, a floor swept, the bathroom and kitchen weren't touched.
