Great staff, clean rooms, several wonderful pools, good breakfast, and a great value. Good location within walking distance to Bang Niang. There is also a daily taxi to khao lak center. I stayed 5 days and would stay again.

Insgesamt gesehen kann man diese Unterkunft gut empfehlen; der große Vorteil ist die Lage innerhalb der Stadt liegt. Das Frühstück kann direkt am Meer eingenommen werden. Schön ist, dass jeden Nachmittag für eine Stunde kostenlos Kaffee, Tee, Fruchtsaft, Kekse als auch Früchte kostenfrei ausgegeben werden. Es gibt drei Pools und einen kleinen Spielplatz für Kinder. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Ich würde raten nur Zimmer im 2. und 3. Stock zu buchen und vor allem nicht die am Strand wo man doch sehr öffentlich wahrgenommen wird.

We were extremely pleased with our stay at Ayara Villas! The room was super spacious for a family of four - huge king size bed, side bed (and a pull-out bed as well!) and we got a free baby crib to the room too. Small kitchen area in the room, good shower. Good black-out curtains. The staff were so nice and friendly, they placed our room near the fabulous children's play room - which was huge, lots of toys, climbing blocks, slide and chill-out sofas and hammocks for adults too :) Books for different aged kids, even some baby toys and baby play mat. Our room had pool access, which was great, as the water was perfect ankle deep for our small children (then continued to the main pool). Several different pool areas, few kids pools and a play/waterslide area for children. (Even older kids would enjoy this.) Restaurant located at the beach was great, breakfast was very versatile - with egg station and a wide hot food & salad buffet. In-house made pancakes, real bacon and even cheese (which is a rare find in hotel breakfasts in Asia) :) Spa & massage also at the beach, which could be added to the room bill. Small private beach, not so suitable for youngest children, but nice none the less. Bigger /longer beach a short walk away. Location on a calm street with a few local restaurants near by. Short taxi ride or abt 1km walk to "main street" with restaurants, shops etc. Hotel offers shuttle to town every night at 6pm (big local market open 4 days a week).

Rent og behagelig plass vekk fra støy, rett ved stranden og 15 min å gå til byen. Var her med vår 9 mnd gamle sønn. Helt fantastisk basseng for barn og lekerom gjorde oppholdet supert for oss med små barn

Very welcoming hotel and the staff are excellent. We were given and upgraded room with pool access and the rooms are. Very good. Hotel is in 3 sections, villas close to the beach, garden villas in an area between 2 quiet Soi's and 2 low rise blocks are the back which are fairly modern - each area has a good size pool As expected the family block has mainly families in so the pool can get lively but the rest of the hotel is tranquil

Sehr schöne ruhige Anlage mit allen Arten von Zimmern, super sauber, sehr nettes Personal, es wird einem immer geholfen. Die zu Fuß erreichbare Bang-Niang Road bietet alles was man braucht, Nachtmarkt an bestimmten Tagen, Restaurants, Bars, Apotheken, Supermärkte. Am Hotelstrand gab es zu unserer Zeit immer freie Liegen. Das Frühstück war super. Preis Leitungsverhältnis super für die 3 Sterne, da haben wir danach in 4 Sterne Hotels teilweise weniger bekommen.

Room smelled like a humid basement. Bedsheets and towels were dirty. The white Toilet seat had brown stains. Arrived late. Reception not able to speak English. Checked out the next morning. Receptionist manager told we would get a one night compensation (out af 3), but according to Hotels.com they deny that. Breakfast was fine.

Meget rent på værelserne og virker til rengøringen sætter en ære i det :) Hotellet er dog lettere slidt i pool områder og diverse fællesområder (reception, kaffe område osv.) Men virkelig et charmerende hotel med lækker beliggenhed - som med en kærlig hånd.

Unser bestes Hotel auf unserer Thailand Mietwagen-Rundreise. Alle Mitarbeiter sind superfreundlich, man fühlt sich hier sofort wohl. Hier passt einfach alles! Modernes, sauberes, großes Zimmer, viele Ablagemöglichkeiten und die Hand- bzw. Duschtücher rochen megafrisch. Tolles Frühstück im hoteleigenen Restaurant mit Meerblick. Entspannte Atmosphäre! Das hoteleigene Restaurant "The flying pig" ist absolut zu empfehlen!!!

Hotellet var toppen! Personalen var hjälplig, vi fick checka in ganska mycket tidigare då vårat rum var redo, blev uppgraderade till större rum! Rummet var stort och fint, acn fungerade toppen och gick även när vi lämnade runmet. Fräscht och rent och sängen var den enda sköna vi hade på våran resa! Stödningen var exemplarisk, vi fick gott om vatten och talettpapper dagligen. Hotellet i sig va mysigt och strandområdet var bra, det är dock ingen stor sandstrand utan mer en gå i och doppa sig strand. Personalen där kom ut med drinkar till solstolarna. Frukosten var stor med ett brett utbud och äggstation. Den var alltid väl påfylld. Utanför hotellet satt Mr. sut som körde tuktuk och var alltid trevlig och glad! En dag ville vi åka till Coconut beach och han körde oss till ett fantastiskt ställe med bar och bra mat och personalen där ringde honom när vi ville tillbaka så han kom och hämtade oss! Små minus är att ett fönster som satt uppe i taket inte gick att täcka för så det blev väldigt ljust på morgonen. Sen var det inte så långt att gå till ”centrum” men det var ganska lång väg i blrjan där det inte hände så mycket utan var mest bakgårdar till hotellen. Men det var helt okej! Poolerna provade vi dock aldrig men fanns tre stycken som såg trevliga ut! Kommer absolut komma tillbaka!

Schönes Hotel mit drei Poolanlagen. Alles ist wunderschön bepflanzt und die Zimmer sind gepflegt. Es gibt jeden Tag zusätzliche Handtücher für den Pool/Strand. Alle Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich und vertrauenswürdig. Wir hatten immer Handy und co. während der Reinigung im Zimmer, es kommt nichts weg. Das Einzig ausbaufähige ist das Frühstück: hier gibt es hauptsächlich Fettiges: Speck, Wurst, Bohnen und Ei. Etwas thailändisches und mehr ohne Fleisch wäre toll. Zur Hauptstraße sind es ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß oder 2 mit dem Roller. Taxen sind genug vorhanden, wenn man möchte. Es gibt aber auch in unmittelbarer Nähe gute Restaurants. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

We stayed 17 nights in a spacious, spotlessly clean garden villa overlooking a pool (there are multiple pools) which was serviced daily by happy and friendly staff. Breakfast was great! We ate for an hour everyday overlooking the ocean and to the sound of crashing waves. Food is cooked to order as well as a buffet. All the food is delicious and all the staff are lovely. Reception staff speak good English and kindly organised a motor bike for us at a good price. Location is very good. On the beach, yes close to the tourist Bang Niang Night Market but better still is the Local Market open everyday from 2pm. This market sells delicious Local Thai food, fruit, vegetables and clothes. It is located behind Mini C and Tesco Lotus, near petrol station, about 3 km north from Ayara Villas. Thankyou to all staff for a wonderful stay.

Sehr schöne ruhige Anlage mit allen Arten von Zimmern, super sauber, sehr nettes Personal, es wird einem immer geholfen. Die zu Fuß erreichbare Bang-Niang Road bietet alles was man braucht, Nachtmarkt an bestimmten Tagen, Restaurants, Bars, Apotheken, Supermärkte. Am Hotelstrand gab es zu unserer Zeit immer freie Liegen. Das Frühstück war super. Preis Leitungsverhältnis super für die 3 Sterne, da haben wir danach in 4 Sterne Hotels teilweise weniger bekommen.

Place is dated. Room was spacious overlooking a pool. The whole place felt dark...little sun reaching the property. Located 2 blocks from water in a residential neighborhood. The beach is a joke...30 meters of sand between 2 huge cement walls. There is a reason why you wont find a photo of the beach on their website. About 30 beach chairs for 200 guests..no chance if you show up after 9am. Breakfast was good. Booked 10 days but checked out after 2 once i found a proper beach resort. I am trying to upload a pic but Hotels.com won't me.

Hotellet var toppen! Personalen var hjälplig, vi fick checka in ganska mycket tidigare då vårat rum var redo, blev uppgraderade till större rum! Rummet var stort och fint, acn fungerade toppen och gick även när vi lämnade runmet. Fräscht och rent och sängen var den enda sköna vi hade på våran resa! Stödningen var exemplarisk, vi fick gott om vatten och talettpapper dagligen. Hotellet i sig va mysigt och strandområdet var bra, det är dock ingen stor sandstrand utan mer en gå i och doppa sig strand. Personalen där kom ut med drinkar till solstolarna. Frukosten var stor med ett brett utbud och äggstation. Den var alltid väl påfylld. Utanför hotellet satt Mr. sut som körde tuktuk och var alltid trevlig och glad! En dag ville vi åka till Coconut beach och han körde oss till ett fantastiskt ställe med bar och bra mat och personalen där ringde honom när vi ville tillbaka så han kom och hämtade oss! Små minus är att ett fönster som satt uppe i taket inte gick att täcka för så det blev väldigt ljust på morgonen. Sen var det inte så långt att gå till ”centrum” men det var ganska lång väg i blrjan där det inte hände så mycket utan var mest bakgårdar till hotellen. Men det var helt okej! Poolerna provade vi dock aldrig men fanns tre stycken som såg trevliga ut! Kommer absolut komma tillbaka!

This was a nice clean walkable family friendly beach resort hotel where we stayed while getting scuba certified for a couple days elsewhere in Khaolak. Nice pools beach restaurant and massage place. Very clean and modern rooms. The included breakfast buffet was very good.

We enjoyed our stay at Ayara villas. We had a pool access room that looked over one of three pools. The room was very good - plenty of space and a comfortable bed, with sun lounges on our terrace. The resort was very quiet (low season). Breakfast was basic, but pretty good. The on-site restaurant (Flying Pig) had a great outlook over the beach to watch waves crashing into the sea wall. A short walk of about 150metres to a long sandy beach, and a fairly long walk 800 metres plus to "town" for excellent market and numerous restaurants.

Enkel frukost, men variation. En bit att gå till frukosten, låg på stranden. Ren pool. Rent rum, jättebra ac. Stort modernt hotell och rum. Bra dusch. Toaletten gick inte o stänga, så svårt att få privattid. Väldigt trevliga och hjälpsam personal

The staff at Ayara villas were fantastic, amazing service from start to finish. They were always smiling, nothing was too much trouble and they were always helpful. We ended up in a pool access room which was huge and beautiful with the biggest bed we have ever seen! It was in a very quiet location but a lovely 10 minute stroll to the main strip with all the bars and restaurants, and another 5 minutes on from there was the night market. Fantastic location. We loved our stay at Ayara villas.

We stayed there for nine nights. Really nice, warm and helpful personnel. I really recommend it to the families with kids. Nice swimming pools and beach access. Good tasty breakfast. It's a great value for the money. They also have a nice playroom for kids. The restaurant is good with fair prices. Unfortunately they add 3 percent additional fee when you pay with credit card.

The hotel is fine. It is rather authentic and the pool is fine. The staff are also sweet and smily. Overall the breakfast is nice, but it lacks some newthinking from day to day. Also my experience of getting them to call a taxi for me was rather bad. The two times I asked them to call a taxi, the price was over double in comparison to one from Bolt. You cannot help to wonder, if this is just a way of squeezing more money out of the customers. The hotel is also placed in a rather unwelcome neighborhood. All in all it was okay. I don’t regret going there.

Excellent stay at Ayara Villas from swift, friendly check in to helpful staff. Nothing was too much effort for them. Clean rooms with plenty of towels, including pool beach towels. Hair dryer in room and toiletries. Kettle for hot drinks with sachets of coffee, creamer and tea bags. A bottle of water provided per person per day. Beer and soft drinks in fridge which were payable. Umbrellas provided for the frequent downpours! Three hotel swimming pools which were very clean, with showering facilities and poolside loungers. Buffet style breakfast with a choice of eggs different ways, bread/toast, croissants, bacon, fruit, cereal, thai dishes, pancakes. Plenty of choice. Good coffee.

On arrival we were given a warm friendly welcome, we arrived an hour before check in time, however they were more than happy to allow us to check in and showed us to our room . Everything was explained to us . You can book tours ,hire scooters at reception. The restaurant is on the beach front with amazing sea views . I really can’t express how good this hotel is and friendly the staff are , all of them are pleasant great you with a smile and will go that extra mile to help you . We will definitely recommend and will return year after year

Rigtig venligt personale og skønne hytter! Det eneste negative var, at de glemte at hente os i lufthavnen. De sendte hurtigt en ny bus til lavere pris, men var ikke optimalt. Rigtig lækkert sted og mulighed for afslapning, med nem adgang til jungleture.

Great staff, clean rooms, several wonderful pools, good breakfast, and a great value. Good location within walking distance to Bang Niang. There is also a daily taxi to khao lak center. I stayed 5 days and would stay again.

Leider ist der Strandabschnitt etwas klein, aber unweit fängt ein sehr langer Strandabschnitt an, der nach 3 min. zu erreichen ist. Die Unterkunft selber ist sehr schön angelegt. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und immer bemüht, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Wir überlegen jetzt schon, wann wir nochmal kommen. Das Motto "Your smile is our happiness" wird umgesetzt. Weiter so.
Leider ist der Strandabschnitt etwas klein, aber unweit fängt ein sehr langer Strandabschnitt an, der nach 3 min. zu erreichen ist. Die Unterkunft selber ist sehr schön angelegt. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Khao Lak. Das Ayara Villas Hotel eignet sich hervorragend um eine entspannte Zeit in Thailand zu verbringen. Die Menschen sind super lieb und man hat einige Restaurants und Shops in Fußweite. Khao Lak Zentrum erreicht man in 15 Min mit dem Shuttle. Das Essen im Hotel schmeckt sehr gut.

Lovely room in a large resort. We chose the beachfront bungalow, which had a nice view of the sea and sunset. The resort itself is not on the beach, and it is a bit of a wslk to access long beach. We stayed in low season and resort was very quiet with few guests

We loved it! Only bad thing we have to say is we couldn’t stay another night because they were booked. Beautiful, safe, pools are relaxing and shaded for a break from the beach. Their beach is very limited but a block away there is easy access to a huge open beach. Highly recommend this hotel! We didn’t eat there so I can’t say how good the restaurant is but everything else was wonderful.

Rent og behagelig plass vekk fra støy, rett ved stranden og 15 min å gå til byen. Var her med vår 9 mnd gamle sønn. Helt fantastisk basseng for barn og lekerom gjorde oppholdet supert for oss med små barn

I think I was lucky with my outward facing room, windows all around overlooking the jungle and hills and it was a big apartment too. It was quiet and I felt safe in all of Khoa Lak as a female on my own. All staff were friendly and I liked it was tucked away from the hussle but still walkable. Nice beaches near by. Food is ok for 3 star. Pools and beach were nice too and do close to a beautiful stretch of public beach. The only thing i would say for guests is to show then where their room is on a map as i got lost at 1am on my first night trying to find my room in the dark jungle themed areas.

The hotel is fine. It is rather authentic and the pool is fine. The staff are also sweet and smily. Overall the breakfast is nice, but it lacks some newthinking from day to day. Also my experience of getting them to call a taxi for me was rather bad. The two times I asked them to call a taxi, the price was over double in comparison to one from Bolt. You cannot help to wonder, if this is just a way of squeezing more money out of the customers. The hotel is also placed in a rather unwelcome neighborhood. All in all it was okay. I don’t regret going there.

Hotellet var toppen! Personalen var hjälplig, vi fick checka in ganska mycket tidigare då vårat rum var redo, blev uppgraderade till större rum! Rummet var stort och fint, acn fungerade toppen och gick även när vi lämnade runmet. Fräscht och rent och sängen var den enda sköna vi hade på våran resa! Stödningen var exemplarisk, vi fick gott om vatten och talettpapper dagligen. Hotellet i sig va mysigt och strandområdet var bra, det är dock ingen stor sandstrand utan mer en gå i och doppa sig strand. Personalen där kom ut med drinkar till solstolarna. Frukosten var stor med ett brett utbud och äggstation. Den var alltid väl påfylld. Utanför hotellet satt Mr. sut som körde tuktuk och var alltid trevlig och glad! En dag ville vi åka till Coconut beach och han körde oss till ett fantastiskt ställe med bar och bra mat och personalen där ringde honom när vi ville tillbaka så han kom och hämtade oss! Små minus är att ett fönster som satt uppe i taket inte gick att täcka för så det blev väldigt ljust på morgonen. Sen var det inte så långt att gå till ”centrum” men det var ganska lång väg i blrjan där det inte hände så mycket utan var mest bakgårdar till hotellen. Men det var helt okej! Poolerna provade vi dock aldrig men fanns tre stycken som såg trevliga ut! Kommer absolut komma tillbaka!

Schönes Hotel mit drei Poolanlagen. Alles ist wunderschön bepflanzt und die Zimmer sind gepflegt. Es gibt jeden Tag zusätzliche Handtücher für den Pool/Strand. Alle Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich und vertrauenswürdig. Wir hatten immer Handy und co. während der Reinigung im Zimmer, es kommt nichts weg. Das Einzig ausbaufähige ist das Frühstück: hier gibt es hauptsächlich Fettiges: Speck, Wurst, Bohnen und Ei. Etwas thailändisches und mehr ohne Fleisch wäre toll. Zur Hauptstraße sind es ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß oder 2 mit dem Roller. Taxen sind genug vorhanden, wenn man möchte. Es gibt aber auch in unmittelbarer Nähe gute Restaurants. Insgesamt gesehen kann man diese Unterkunft gut empfehlen; der große Vorteil ist die Lage innerhalb der Stadt liegt. Das Frühstück kann direkt am Meer eingenommen werden. Schön ist, dass jeden Nachmittag für eine Stunde kostenlos Kaffee, Tee, Fruchtsaft, Kekse als auch Früchte kostenfrei ausgegeben werden. Es gibt drei Pools und einen kleinen Spielplatz für Kinder. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Ich würde raten nur Zimmer im 2. und 3. Stock zu buchen und vor allem nicht die am Strand wo man doch sehr öffentlich wahrgenommen wird.

We enjoyed our stay at Ayara villas. We had a pool access room that looked over one of three pools. The room was very good - plenty of space and a comfortable bed, with sun lounges on our terrace. The resort was very quiet (low season). Breakfast was basic, but pretty good. The on-site restaurant (Flying Pig) had a great outlook over the beach to watch waves crashing into the sea wall. A short walk of about 150metres to a long sandy beach, and a fairly long walk 800 metres plus to "town" for excellent market and numerous restaurants.

Fantastisk sted. Fuld valuta for hver en krone/bath. Søde og rare mennesker. Er du/I til thai-mad kan hotellets egen restauration helt sikkert anbefales. Billigt og godt. Stille og rolig beliggenhed med fin strand og pools. Nemt at komme med taxa til Khao Lak. 5 min pris 200 bath. Masser af solsenge ved strand og pool.

I really enjoyed my stay. Beautiful beach and a great location away from the busy center, perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Would definitely come back
