Wir haben selten ein so freundliches Personal erlebt. Total bemüht und wirklich sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war gut, eher in der Qualität als in der Quantität aber das war voll ok. Wir hatten eines der noch nicht renovierten Zimmer, welches aber sehr sauber war. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und kommen alleine wegen des Personals/der Eigentümer gerne wieder.

Beautiful location by the river Mosel. Wery nice staff, clean hotel. Downside was the railroad on the back of the hotel. So if possible request room from the riverside.

Ein schönes Hotel direkt an der Mosel gelegen. Alles ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Service ist hervorragend und den Betreibern ist sehr daran gelegen,dass man sich wie zuhause fühlt. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen sind hausgemacht und von hoher Qualität. Ich hatte einen erholsamen Aufenthalt.

Hotellet ligger vackert precis bredvid floden. Mycket trevlig värd som berättade om hotellet och visade rummet. rent och fint rum. Perfekt plats att stanna på om man är på genomresa genom Moseldalen. Frukosten var helt okej och hade det viktigaste. Enda minus är att tåget går väldigt nära hotellet och låter en hel del så ladda upp med öronproppar.

Det var en fantastisk vistelse på Hotel Sewenig! Rummet var stort och med fantastisk utsikt mot vinodlingar. Läget perfekt i en lugn by med närhet till Cochem med bara ca 15 minuter med bil. Boendet precis vid Mosel. Vi åt även middag en kväll på hotellet och det var bland det godaste vi ätit under vår resa vid Mosel-floden, så ska du bo här rekommenderar vi även att du äter en full meny i hotellets restaurang. Servicen var fantastisk. Vi kommer att rekommendera alla vi känner som ska till Mosel att bo här och vi återkommer själva gärna.

I was looking for a close place to stay while visiting Eltz Castle. The walk up to the castle was very scenic but difficult in some areas. I wanted to hike to it because I didn't want to bother with crowds of people, so I took more of a leisure way up. The room was big and spacious and it is situated in a very quiet area in the town. It was nice to get a good nights sleep.

We stopped by for a short stay after a road trip through Europe. This is a charming and friendly hotel located by the Mosel River. It’s close to local sights and picturesque small towns with restaurants and more. Vineyards are just around the corner. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and had a great sense of humor. We had dinner at the hotel – delicious food paired with local wine. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a small terrace. The only downside was the train passing right outside – it startled us a bit and disturbed the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. Still, we highly recommend the place – everything else was absolutely lovely

Kleinschalig hotel in een dorpje waar alles uitgestorven lijkt. Maar een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor de omgeving. Lopend naar burg Eltz (stevige klim), per fiets of auto ben je zo in Cochem. Verblijf zelf erg goed. Alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Gastvrouw en -heer supervriendelijk en denken met je mee (lactosevrij ontbijt? Wordt geregeld!), maken een praatje en leggen je in de watten. Enige minpuntje: avondeten kan in het hotel, maar alleen tussen 18 en 19. In het dorpje zelf bijzonder weinig mogelijkheden voor eten. Gelukkig kun je ‘s avonds nog wel wat drinken in het hotel. De huisgemaakte thee en ijsthee zijn een aanrader.

I was looking for a close place to stay while visiting Eltz Castle. The walk up to the castle was very scenic but difficult in some areas. I wanted to hike to it because I didn't want to bother with crowds of people, so I took more of a leisure way up. The room was big and spacious and it is situated in a very quiet area in the town. It was nice to get a good nights sleep.

Kleinschalig hotel in een dorpje waar alles uitgestorven lijkt. Maar een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor de omgeving. Lopend naar burg Eltz (stevige klim), per fiets of auto ben je zo in Cochem. Verblijf zelf erg goed. Alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Gastvrouw en -heer supervriendelijk en denken met je mee (lactosevrij ontbijt? Wordt geregeld!), maken een praatje en leggen je in de watten. Enige minpuntje: avondeten kan in het hotel, maar alleen tussen 18 en 19. In het dorpje zelf bijzonder weinig mogelijkheden voor eten. Gelukkig kun je ‘s avonds nog wel wat drinken in het hotel. It’s close to local sights and picturesque small towns with restaurants and more. Vineyards are just around the corner. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and had a great sense of humor. We had dinner at the hotel – delicious food paired with local wine. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a small terrace. The only downside was the train passing right outside – it startled us a bit and disturbed the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. Beautiful location by the river Mosel. Wery nice staff, clean hotel. Downside was the railroad on the back of the hotel. So if possible request room from the riverside.

Hotellet ligger vackert precis bredvid floden. Mycket trevlig värd som berättade om hotellet och visade rummet. rent och fint rum. Perfekt plats att stanna på om man är på genomresa genom Moseldalen. Frukosten var helt okej och hade det viktigaste. Enda minus är att tåget går väldigt nära hotellet och låter en hel del så ladda upp med öronproppar.

Det var en fantastisk vistelse på Hotel Sewenig! Rummet var stort och med fantastisk utsikt mot vinodlingar. Läget perfekt i en lugn by med närhet till Cochem med bara ca 15 minuter med bil. Boendet precis vid Mosel. Vi åt även middag en kväll på hotellet och det var bland det godaste vi ätit under vår resa vid Mosel-floden, så ska du bo här rekommenderar vi även att du äter en full meny i hotellets restaurang. Ein schönes Hotel direkt an der Mosel gelegen. Alles ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Service ist hervorragend und den Betreibern ist sehr daran gelegen,dass man sich wie zuhause fühlt. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen sind hausgemacht und von hoher Qualität. Ich hatte einen erholsamen Aufenthalt.
