This lodge is a bit dated but the room was comfortable and the bathroom has been refreshed . Dining leaves a lot to be desired and if it hadn’t been so late when we checked in we would have gone elsewhere to eat. We wouldn’t recommend this as a place to eat at any time.

Good one night stay. Room smelled like strong disinfectant but after a few minutes not noticeable. Bed very comfy. Coffee is AM free in Lobby - they ran out and we got from the restaurant- very good. Two stories with no elevator - outside metal stairs so could be tricky. In general it seemed like no one was at the front desk but they left a phone number and she responded immediately including coming to our room to reset the TV. If you want a hot breakfast I think it was about $10.

It would be nice if the breakfast was included since we are paying a good amount of money to stay there, it would be nice not to have to pay an extra $14 for a breakfast that is like any continental Breakfast that is free at other places, and to actually have coffee in the rooms considering some people get up super early to start there day and they cant make a cup of coffee till the office opens at 7 am which is super inconvenient, other then these couple of things it was an very enjoyable stay

Rustic motel just outside of West Yellowstone. Room was clean & roomy. There is no TV reception, you have to stream from your mobile device. Breakfast buffet was affordable but kitchen was short so pickings were slim to none. Also, I paid ahead thru Expedia & the motel sent me an email invoice that I owed an additional amt.stafthereforeyoumonb

The rooms are dated. They still use actual keys for the doors instead of key cards. No breakfast is included. No one was at the front desk when we arrived. And the front office wasn’t open when we left. They had a drop box for the room key.

The room has thin walls, but overall very peaceful! The room was cozy clean and cute! Its 20 minutes away from Yellowstone Park. Makes for a quiet night. Less tourists. The property restaurant was closed due some much needed water problem.

The place is overall nice. My complaint is that the King rooms are very small. With our luggage, we didn't have a lot of room at all. bathroom was tiny too. Our other family had 2 queen room and is was great. Has a cute restaurant attached. It actually was a nice place, but get the queen room instead of king.

The lodge was very cute and the room smelled so good. The shower wasn’t very clean and the curtain had pink mold on the bottom and makeup on it. One of the clean towels I grabbed had makeup on it. Bed was a little stiff for my liking. The window on the door let in so much light that it woke me up in the morning. Despite all this, I liked the location of the lodge, it was about 20 mins from the Yellowstone gate and there is a nice grocery/convenience store in the same parking lot. In town there were a ton of cute shops and restaurants and they were open LATE!! We went through at almost 10 pm and people were still walking around and shopping. A lot of towns close down at 5 or 6 but not west Yellowstone! Overall it was a great trip!

The room was clean. It did have a very strong odor of pine sol though. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms have been updated. I did feel that the floors slanted. The flooring was also made squeaking snd popping sounds particularly in the bedroom and sitting room transition.

Trash scattered all over walkway to rooms, AC not adequate for cooling, a lot of noise, walls are thin, pillows are flat as a pancake and need replaced. Bedding needs an upgrade. Overpriced for stay

Overall clean and cute room. We experienced a few issues - I waited for 10-15 min for someone to arrive at the counter to check me in. The window air conditioner was located in the “living room” area and was noisy and powerful making the room very cold and uncomfortable while it was on. The bedroom area did not cool easily and was warm and humid since the window unit was in the living area. The bathroom was clean for the most part, but had a slight urine smell.

We arrive at 10:30 p.m on our first day and first thing we noticed was the room smell like dog crap. Then we discovered our bed sheet was very dirty and had human hairs throughout. We also found a urine stain on the sheets and it smell pretty bad. We reported the smelly urine stained sheet to the front desk around 11:00 at night. The front desk guy said he is off at 11:00 p.m. and securing for the nigh. He said, we need to come back the following day and the maid clean our room and change the sheet so n the morning. For the mean time he gave as 2 pillow cases and 2 sheets so we can survive for the night. These was pathetic and rude, we didn’t have a choice but to live with it and accept the fact that this is a bad customer service and doesn’t care about what kind of diseases we can get from a dirty urinated sheets. We couldn’t sleep that night. First, I blamed the last person who occupied the room because he has filthy and sick individual that didn’t have the balls to tell the maid that he urinated in the bed. Secondly, the lazy maid that didn’t change the bed sheet and the front desk that worry about going home.. To end the story, we kept the room because according to the management, no room available and no refund policy. Our room were cleaned that day but you can still smell the urine from the room. The managment never apologize. I never recommend this place especially room 210.

BEST BEDS EVER! This was such a pleasant surprise of a place. We will definitely stay here again if we’re near by. The rooms were decorated very well and very clean. This was the best hotel bed I have ever slept in, it was so comfortable. The rooms were very spacious and their tv’s offered streaming services. They were able to answer any questions you had by text and they responded quickly. They had beautiful wooden pine floors but they were a little creaky. I am so glad we found this place because it was a wonderful two nights of rest.

This place was super cute and had plenty of room. Breakfast was worth the extra charge. The staff was friendly. The walls and floors were very thin. I was on the end and could hear every footstep upstairs. The WiFi didn’t work that altar down which meant I couldn’t use the streaming tv.

Very clean and super cute rustic feeling rooms. Not too long of a drive to Yellowstone, worth it for the price savings of this room compared to West Yellowstone hotels. We would stay again. Only downfall was the walls are very thin, and our neighbors were loud - but luckily they didn’t stay up too late or this may have been a problem. (We could hear footsteps above us as well)

The room was spotless; the furnishings were cute; and the location was convenient. But the staff when we checked was not very welcoming. There was an ice bucket in the room, but the ice was kept in the office. You could only get ice when the office was open. The wood floors squeaked with every step. We were on the 2nd floor and I felt sorry for the room below us

Property was rustic. Room was small for the price, esp. bathroom. Very noisy-vehicular traffic and other guests. Could hear about everything that went on in neighboring rooms. Staff was very nice. Front desk was not manned-had to call if you needed or wanted anything. Heat in room worked and so did AC.

Staff couldn’t figure out how to check me in and had to call for help, which still took quite a while. They didn’t speak any English, which isn’t a big deal outside of the fact that we couldn’t communicate about whatever the issue was. Also, the walls are paper thin, so be prepared to hear literally every breath of anyone in adjoining rooms.

Great staff…absolutely fantastic…I stayed for 3 days, and met a mother/daughter and niece who all work there. They were absolutely wonderful and kind and friendly and made me feel right at home. Please give these ladies a raise!!! They certainly deserve it!

A little difficult checking in, but it was offseason for them. Once we got hold of them by phone, everything went top notch. Beautiful room, clean, friendly staff.

Property was rustic. Room was small for the price, esp. bathroom. Very noisy-vehicular traffic and other guests. Could hear about everything that went on in neighboring rooms. Staff was very nice. Front desk was not manned-had to call if you needed or wanted anything. Heat in room worked and so did AC.

The room in the pictures I saw online was exactly the same as the room I stayed in. The room was clean and well maintained. The front desk staff were helpful and knowledgeable. I loved the location in relation to Yellowstone. It was in a quiet location with a grocery store and gas station right next door. Will recommend this hotel to my friends.

Our stay at the Island Park Lodge was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was modern and clean. Staff very friendly and welcoming upon check in. I like the key drop off box since I didn’t find anyone to checkout with. This hotel was very convenient to West Yellowstone and suited our needs perfectly. And the breakfast at the cafe was absolutely wonderful— the best one for our whole 9 day trip so far!

The room was very large and had a great mountain and woodsy feeling about it. Very much and feeling with the whole Yellowstone theme. Gas station, grocery store, and Subway within easy walking distance. Quiet off of main road but a short 20 minute drive to main entrance of Yellowstone. Only real complaint is that the restaurant was not open yet when I say the first week of June. Room had a refrigerator and a microwave and there were plenty of eating choices in West Yellowstone as you left the park. Day three nights and went to Yellowstone 3 days and still very convenient.

This lodge is a bit dated but the room was comfortable and the bathroom has been refreshed . Dining leaves a lot to be desired and if it hadn’t been so late when we checked in we would have gone elsewhere to eat. We wouldn’t recommend this as a place to eat at any time.

Very thin walls. Expedia stated there was breakfast included, but there is not. A restaurant attached to motel has a simple $14.00 breakfast buffet. Room had a strong odor of a cleaner.

The room was sooo nice and it smelt like wood when you walked in. The only reason why it’s not 5/5 is because the breakfast is nothing to ride home about and it was $14.00 a person.

Good one night stay. Room smelled like strong disinfectant but after a few minutes not noticeable. Bed very comfy. Coffee is AM free in Lobby - they ran out and we got from the restaurant- very good. Two stories with no elevator - outside metal stairs so could be tricky. In general it seemed like no one was at the front desk but they left a phone number and she responded immediately including coming to our room to reset the TV. If you want a hot breakfast I think it was about $10.

This place was super cute and had plenty of room. Breakfast was worth the extra charge. The staff was friendly. The walls and floors were very thin. I was on the end and could hear every footstep upstairs. The WiFi didn’t work that altar down which meant I couldn’t use the streaming tv.

The food was awful! The worst dinner I have ever had, Chicken was rubbery, mac and cheese was rubbery and nothing was warm enough I assume it is all " cooked" in a microwave. YUK!!!

This place was really nice and clean with excellent staff. There was a restaurant in the lodge. Good breakfast at a reasonable price, great ham steak. A gas station and a grocery store were across the street.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und nichts hat gefehlt! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das dazugehörige Restaurant ist meiner Meinung nach überteuert. Das Essen war kalt und die arme Bedienung war alleine obwohl das Restaurant sehr voll war. Sie rannte sich die Hacken ab, aber war komplett überfordert. Das ist keine negative Kritik an der jungen Dame, sie tat was sie konnte!

We had a double room which was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable and had a nice shower. The room had a mini fridge which we appreciated since we stayed 2 nights. There is a restaurant right there. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and dinner. We did have trouble with the lock on our door as you have to use an old-school key. I had to ask the front desk staff to open for us since we couldn’t get it to work. She told us the lock was tricky and I feel this should be corrected, guests shouldn’t have to fool around with a tricky lock trying to get into your room. Also the walls are very thin as you can hear your neighbors conversations and tv. I had to use earplugs to get to sleep.
