We went to Bull at Foolow for our anniversary hike we do every year. The Inn is absolutely picturesque, loved the vibe of the interior and the surounding area is beautiful as well. The food is something out of this world. You would not expect such a high level cuisine in the middle of Peak District. The staff and locals down the restaurant/pub were real friendly which made this experience even better. We are definitelly coming back as soon as we can.

An excellent two night stay to attend a wedding locally. Accommodation spotless, very comfortable bed, well proportioned room with all the facilities you would hope for. The pedestal fan was greatly appreciated too. Food was all home-made and very tasty. The ginger cake with caramel sauce and the lamb and mint pie come highly recommended. I did knock one star off for service as the waitress for saturday breakfast, shall we say, did not look like she was enjoying her job very much. This one small comment aside, The Bulls Head is a lovely place to stay, we will have no hesitation in returning and thoroughly recommend it to all.

Andrew and the team of staff at the Bull where brilliant, they could not do enough for us. The rooms we stayed in where exceptionally clean and thoughtfully decorated and quite spacious. The food was of a very high standard.

Lovely cosy and welcoming pub in the Peak District in the pretty village of Foolow. Really large room with a big bathroom too. Very friendly staff and a great Sunday dinner and breakfast the next morning. Lots of great walks nearby to Eyam ,Sir William Hill and Bretton. We really enjoyed our great value stay and would love to return.

The apartment was a modern, comfortable and spacious accommodation. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our three night stay and we were also really delighted with the choice and quality of the food in both the evening and at breakfast. We "sampled" the Moonshine beer and would definitely recommend it. We had one small problem when one evening meal order wasn't served for quite some time (a problem with passing the order to the kitchen). The manager solved the problem to our satisfaction so that it didn't spoil our night. Breakfast was a magnificent feast of a Full Derbyshire cooked breakfast, with other various combinations and choices too. Clare was on breakfast duty during our stay an was an excellent host. Very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. We would love to stay again and look forward to booking our next trip to the Peak District.

Awesome stay. Gorgeous pub serving delicious food. Staff were brilliant, even got us toothpaste from one of their houses as we had forgotten it and arrived late. Only negative was the breakfast time only ran from 8:30-9am (Monday). I didn't make it as I wanted to enjoy a sleep in.

This was a fantastic stay. The Bull's Head pub was fantastic. The food was superb - really high quality. We dined there both nights, The pub was lovely and traditional. A lovely pub atmosphere, The rooms were super comfy, spotlessly clean, spacious, with modern bathrooms and traditional bedrooms. Nice communal tea/coffee area in the hallway outside the rooms. Breakfast was great. Really tasty full English breakfast. The staff were very warm and welcoming. It was so lovely we didn't want to leave! :)

The Bull at Foolow is a lovely pub and the room was very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and the food was amazing! The whipped goat's cheese starter was so good that we had it twice!

Fantastic stay, great pub, amazing home cooked food. Simple menu but everything done very well. Proper chef with flair at work here. Room very nice. A warming pub on a cold winter’s day. 10/10 from us.

Very attractive pub inside & out in a beautiful location. Staff very friendly & helpful. Great room & really enjoyable evening in the bar having drinks and meal. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend & will stay again if in the area.

We loved our stay at The Bull at Foolow! We had the family suite for a family of four adults - it was a huge space, with a spacious kitchen/dining room, living room (with very comfortable seating) and two large bedrooms. There was great natural light, with a beautiful view of the hills at the back of the pub. Parking was very easy, with a back entrance for folks staying over. Breakfast was great, with options for everyone. They were also very accomodating, and Wendy who served us was super lovely! She was always helpful and chatty and gave us some great tips/recommendations. The rooms were very clea, comfortable beds and a good shower. We would definitely recommend staying here! More to flag then I reason not to stay - the back windows are above the kitchen so sometimes there's an unpleasant smell if the windows are open. Also, the bedrooms are above the pub so on a Saturday night it can be quite loud - this didn't bother us, but if you're light sleepers, keep that in mind.

Had a lovely stay, the room was beautiful and very comfy. Breakfast was plentiful and there was a wide choice We also ate at the pub and the food was well presented and beautifully cooked We will be back, as the location was great for walking and sightseeing.

Great place to stay for the Peak District. Stylish, traditional rooms with excellent food. Pubs serving food this good are becoming much harder to find. Our second visit and already looking forward to the next.
