We absolutely love this property, the staff, and the ambiance here! We actually live 10 minutes down the road now (we used to stay here more frequently when we first moved to Peru) and book stays here just to come back to visit - it’s an amazing area, the attached restaurant is amazing, the rooms are beautiful and the staff is so helpful and kind (especially to our dog and baby!). 5 stars!

Hotel pretensioso pero no ofrece nada mejor que cualquier 4 estrellas. Habitación minúscula sin un escritorio para trabajar ni armario para ropas. Desayuno muy caro para lo que ofrecen y gimnasio muy básico. Por el precio que cobran debería ofrecer mucho más.

This was the first time I stayed at this property, but have been to Lima many times. I usually stayed at the same hotel, time after time. I decided to shake it up a bit and I AM GLAD I DID! It is a wonderful, little, boutique property. The staff is extremely friendly and go the extra kilometer in regards to service. From the point of check-in, to checking out, I had a great stay. Maykol, Hector, Erik, and the rest of the staff are amazing. They made my stay extremely memorable. It's really nice to be on a first name basis with almost everyone in the hotel by the time you check out. The room I had was very nice sized and very comfortable all around. I was on a higher floor, I had a nice sofa and desk. The room is well appointed with a lot of access to outlets in good places. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shades and curtains were very good at blocking out the sun. Also the HVAC system was really nice and worked really well. I know it sounds weird that I mention that but I couldn't tell you how many times I've stayed at a property where it's like a jet engine turning on. The bar and the restaurant are wonderful. One of the best pisco sours in all of Lima. And if you want to be adventurous have Maykol or Erik come up with something for you. Also their food is wonderful in the restaurant and goes really well with all of their pairings. Another thing I want to mention are the breakfast in the morning. They're very delicious and have everything available for y

Manto Hotel is in a really beautiful and quiet part of San Isidro. The hotel staff were very nice and friendly. I stayed in a superior room with a king bed and was very happy with the size, and cleanliness of the room. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay in Lima.

As instalações são muito confortáveis, os funcionários são extremamente gentis (ponto alto), a localização é muito boa. Meu único desagrado foi não ter um frigobar de verdade no quarto. Existe um equipamento, que supostamente é para manter a temperatura ambiente, mas deixando a bebida dentro ou fora, fica igual, não gela e não mantém gelado. Gastaram dinheiro com a compra destes equipamentos, eles gastam energia, uma vez que ficam na tomada, ocupam espaço e não servem para nada, pelo menos a meu ver.

As instalações são muito confortáveis, os funcionários são extremamente gentis (ponto alto), a localização é muito boa. Meu único desagrado foi não ter um frigobar de verdade no quarto. Existe um equipamento, que supostamente é para manter a temperatura ambiente, mas deixando a bebida dentro ou fora, fica igual, não gela e não mantém gelado. Gastaram dinheiro com a compra destes equipamentos, eles gastam energia, uma vez que ficam na tomada, ocupam espaço e não servem para nada, pelo menos a meu ver.

Very nice hotel in a nice area, walkable to restaurants and coffee shops. The staff were friendly and helpful and always available. The only thing for us was that there was no coffee machine in the room which would have been nice to wake-up to. Hotels we’ve been to round the world, tend to include at least a kettle as a standard these days. That said, we enjoyed our stay.

Manto Hotel is in a really beautiful and quiet part of San Isidro. The hotel staff were very nice and friendly. I stayed in a superior room with a king bed and was very happy with the size, and cleanliness of the room. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay in Lima.

Friendly staff and impecable lobby, restaurant, and room. I rarely opt to have breakfast at a hotel, but I would definitely recommend it. Had a great dinner here, as well. Area around the hotel is quiet, with shops and a supermarket within a few minutes walk.

Very nice hotel in a nice area, walkable to restaurants and coffee shops. The staff were friendly and helpful and always available. The only thing for us was that there was no coffee machine in the room which would have been nice to wake-up to. Hotels we’ve been to round the world, tend to include at least a kettle as a standard these days. That said, we enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely love this property, the staff, and the ambiance here! We actually live 10 minutes down the road now (we used to stay here more frequently when we first moved to Peru) and book stays here just to come back to visit - it’s an amazing area, the attached restaurant is amazing, the rooms are beautiful and the staff is so helpful and kind (especially to our dog and baby!). 5 stars!

This was the first time I stayed at this property, but have been to Lima many times. I usually stayed at the same hotel, time after time. I decided to shake it up a bit and I AM GLAD I DID! It is a wonderful, little, boutique property. The staff is extremely friendly and go the extra kilometer in regards to service. From the point of check-in, to checking out, I had a great stay. Maykol, Hector, Erik, and the rest of the staff are amazing. They made my stay extremely memorable. It's really nice to be on a first name basis with almost everyone in the hotel by the time you check out. The room I had was very nice sized and very comfortable all around. I was on a higher floor, I had a nice sofa and desk. The room is well appointed with a lot of access to outlets in good places. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shades and curtains were very good at blocking out the sun. Also the HVAC system was really nice and worked really well. I know it sounds weird that I mention that but I couldn't tell you how many times I've stayed at a property where it's like a jet engine turning on. The bar and the restaurant are wonderful. One of the best pisco sours in all of Lima. And if you want to be adventurous have Maykol or Erik come up with something for you. Also their food is wonderful in the restaurant and goes really well with all of their pairings. Another thing I want to mention are the breakfast in the morning. Manto Hotel Lima was amazing. It was in a quieter part of town and very peaceful. It was very walkable to all of our activities and the room was very nice. The staff went above and beyond to support us, this was a truly magical stay in Lima!

Other reviews capture only highs of this property: great location, clean nice beds. Otherwise, very disappointing. Staff were polite but inhospitable — simple requests like a bandaid and an additional bathrobe (there was one in our room the first night, and then none after housekeeping finally came the next day) were dismissed/ignored. Scolded for taking wrong coffee at breakfast (one was apparently « for an event » despite being set up in the breakfast area), unable to carry breakfast back to my room (never encountered a spatial restriction on where I could eat), lamp in room was broken and another had some sort of mold in it, cracks in wall, door to toilet was poorly installed so it dragged on floor and was difficult to open/close, mildewy substance in sink, thin and tatty towels, broken cardio equipment in fitness room… this hotel has a lovely aesthetic, but its appeal is superficial at best. After 3 weeks in Peru at multiple stellar locations, this hotel was a low point. If you need a quick night at a sterile, poorly maintained spot that’s centrally located in San Isidro, this works fine. But if you want a happy experience with amiable staff, actual amenities, genuine Peruvian cuisine, and nods to the beautiful culture of Lima, I suggest looking elsewhere in Miraflores or Barranco.

Property was beautiful and clean. Good-sized rooms and bathrooms. Staff very helpful with arranging transport and other things. Wonderful buffet breakfast with fresh juices, yogurt, granola, eggs, fruit and more. Nice, quiet location in San Isidro, an upscale residential neighborhood. There aren’t a lot of restaurants or markets within a five or ten minute walk, but there’s a park with millennia-old olive trees nearby. It’s a lovely, peaceful spot. Uber is your best bet for getting around.
