**Beautiful hotel, but service and advertised activities fall short** The hotel itself is beautiful and conveniently located close to Porto. However, several aspects of the stay were disappointing and do not match the price point. **Advertised activities are misleading.** The hotel's website and marketing materials feature paddle boarding, kayaking, and similar water activities, implying these are offered on-site. In reality, they are not. Guests must first check availability, then pay an additional €30 "relocation fee" just to have an instructor bring the equipment to the hotel — on top of the rental cost. Alternatively, guests are directed to a nearby public beach, which is overcrowded in summer. If a hotel advertises an activity as part of its offering, it should be available on-site without extra logistics and hidden fees. This is false advertising and should be corrected or clearly disclosed before booking. **Restaurant service was slow.** Lunch took an excessive amount of time to arrive despite the restaurant being nearly empty and the order consisting of simple dishes. There is no justification for this delay given the low occupancy. **Lack of proactive guest communication.** At no point were we informed of the hotel's facilities, activities, spa/massage services, or even the WiFi details.
