Woolpack Inn

It was great for a 1 day countryside trip, we had dinner at their pub and it was overall good, there is also another cute local pub within walking distance with live music!

We were given an upgraded room at check-in, and asked to pay a £10 charge for an extra cleaning charge for our dog. I was expecting this charge as Expedia don't give an option for paying for it when booking online. We dropped our bags in room and went out for a walk, on return we had a drink in the bar and went into restaurant for our evening meal which we both found uninspiring, especially the desserts. Beautiful old pub in equally beautiful village. Great food and drinks. Lovely roaring fires. Very friendly staff

Lovely hotel and excellent meal. Really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning. Drinks are quite expensive but wouldn’t stop me returning.
