I will NOT stay here again. There was an issue with my request for a fourth set of towels when I registered my room for 4 people for 5 nights and it resulted in the staff member telling me I was "acting ugly". As a customer, I have never experienced that level of disrespect or insult, nor have I had to argue about a request for a set of towels for EACH of the room's registered guests (they have a towel shortage and wanted me to turn in dirty towels to get the fourth set). It was completely frustrating and not what I'm accustomed to as a customer in the hospitality industry! Additionally we had a couple of service issues with housekeeping that may be due to language barriers. To be fair, the manager later apologized for the "acting ugly" experience, resolved it and offered a service recovery discount, which I appreciated. However, there are too many hotel options in Houston, TX for me to ever give my money to this LaQuinta again. Everything else at the hotel was fine (room size, breakfast, cleanliness) with the exception that there was very little air circulation in the gym.
