Great location but not much parking

The pool was clean but the landscape was weeds. The grill was cheap and broken. Only had one lounge chair. The sink was held up by two by fours. The smell when you walked in was like that disinfectant they use at a gas station convenience store. They only gave us one key card and that key didn't work. Had to get new key card. The motel was located in the corner of two major roads. Very noisy. Our view was of a Montana Mikes parking lot. The motel parking lot was dirty and people were bbqing in the parking lot. Only thing nice to say ...is the room was clean, no bed bugs, and the staff were friendly.

I had a really nice stay at this hotel. The pool was the highlight—clean, inviting, and perfect for relaxing with plenty of seating around. The property was well-maintained, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff made the experience even better. Overall, a great place to stay with excellent amenities.

A bit overpriced for the age of the property, but it's close to the waterpark which was nice. Front door of property is difficult to access and elevator makes creaking noises, so we used the stairs our entire stay. The one front desk staff member is also responsible for setting out and maintaining "breakfast"; which wasn't much and one reason we booked here. The beds were decent with lots of pillows. Fridge in room was also very nice to have.

Overall was good value. Bed was super comfy and room was clean. Staff was nice and helpful. The kids loved the pool. Would stay here again

pool was dirty, and stated on site has a hot tub/spa... it didn't. breakfast wasn't ready nor pleasant

If you are looking for something cheap and to just sleep this will do but it’s not something I would recommend. To start breakfast had very limited options and by the time we went to grab food there was nothing left and barely any coffee. the pool area needs a lot of maintenance, theres a lot of cracks and the pool itself is dirty and not private. All the cars that pass by on the street can see what is going on. Something else that got to me was when we asked for new towels we got towels that were completely ripped barely holding together and it seemed to be a bother to the employee. The AC unit in the room was on all day yet when we got to the room the room was super hot. some things to consider … We didn’t spend much time there ( Thank God) but those are the few things I would like to share.

The parking can get a bit tough and some of the other guests can be a bit unkept but the personnel and the actual rooms are amazing! Great little gem!

Dirty floors, dirty shower, dirty mirror.

The bed was ok. But there were hairs all over the bathroom and something on the sheets

The staff was rude and not helpful. They tried to charge me for my service animal. They changed my room to the nosier room right by the front desk and breakfast bar was backed up to my whole room. It was loud every morning. We walked bare foot on the floor in our room and our feet were so black on the bottom. Very dirty!!! There was a roach crawling on the wall!!!! We will never be back!

Woke up with bugs in the bed,room smelled horrible. Air-conditioning filters were were covered in dirt,dust and hair. Went down for breakfast and all there was was some stale sliced bread,coffee was horrible. I definitely would never stay here again.

The room was filthy.

Our AC didn’t working told the front desk they said we’re getting a new one that never happen. They gave us a box fan. We had a roach clawing on the wall. Will never stay here again

I left a message with the hotel so that they may address the issue, but I will not be staying there again. As there was roach feces on the plugin outlet in the restroom. The blow dryer was plugged into it as well and it too was full of feces as well.

Upon walking into our room we spotted a bug in the hall then opening our door we saw a small roach like bug on the wall in our room. Then walked into bathroom and saw a small roach in sink & on the toilet. The comforter had something that resembles semen or super glue in two spots. We definitely won’t be back

Torn window screens, blowing in wind Blood stain as big as a saucer on sheet Dead, dried cockroach smashed on wall Bathroom floor corners were cruddy Who cares about check-in, comfort, economy, etc. when housekeeping is terrible. We do not recommend this place for anyone.

Service was great!! The rooms are VERY out dated. The bathroom shower knobs come unattached.

Location was handily close to a couple of restaurants just across the street. Room was a good size, but everything was old and needed some repair and sprucing up. Bathtub drain didn't work well, bed was a bit hard.

The AC could not keep the room cool during the day.

AC was struggling to keep the rooms below 80 degrees

1st room card key wouldn't open the door, then moved to 2nd room and A/C didn't work. Then moved to a 3rd room and the bathroom ceiling exhaust vent made a banging noise all night, so had a hard time sleeping.

The walls were dirty and stained, the corners had dust/trash in them. The breakfast was nothing like in the picture that I saw online. The walls and floors are really thin, we had someone above us; and they had to have had small children; but we could hear every step, jump, run, kick... It was very disturbing when trying to sleep. I guess I was only paying for convenience of being close to the water park. Definitely not worth $400 for 2 days, more like $90/day. Oh and the WiFi was slower than our own data. It's not what I'm used to for that price.

The room was very small with a king bed. There was one outlet under the desk for charging my phone and I had to crawl on the floor to get underneath to reach it. Nothing by the bed to plug in phones. The only redeeming feature was a good shower with plenty of pressure. The “breakfast “ was a joke. Sure there were waffles and bread for toast. No fruit, no yogurt, nothing that was any good. We stayed there last year and it was great but I guess it changed hands and I would not recommend it.

Front desk help was talking on cell phone and chose not to come check me in and had a terrible attitude when she did Tough start for the stay

Front desk was rude The room key didn’t work after multiple attempts of them “fixing” it then the manager knocks on my door and says I don’t have a reservation after I had already checked in hours before with someone else. He had no idea what he was talking about. Dead Bugs were everywhere along the floor around the bed it was disturbing.

We have stayed several times at this particular hotel. It has all of important qualities such as friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and great location. I highly recommend staying here during your visit to New Braunfels.

I chose this hotel because of the positive reviews. Unfortunately I based it on the averages and not on recent reviews. Furnishings definitely outdated but not too bad for location and price range. I've definitely seen worse but also could have been better. The reason i am even writing this is the rudeness of the manager/not manager. Sign at the checkin desk said breakfast on weekends 7:00am to 10:00am. We came down a few minutes before 9:00 to find the guy, said his name was Alexia or something, putting away the food. There was another guest there already arguing with him that the sign said 10:00am. No apology or anything, he just insisted that the sign that has been at the front desk for years is wrong and that breakfast is over at 9:00. We also pointed out the sign and asked to speak to a manager. He said there wasn't one. He finally brought the milk back out reluctantly and then walked over and took down the sign at the front desk. A few minutes later other hotel staff came over to get coffee and said he is new and doesn't understand customer service and hospitality. Being in Texas I understand there are bugs so i would not have written this review or mentioned the roaches in the bathroom except for the behavior of the manager. They also came around before checkout to say we had 5 minutes to check out or they would charge another day. I don't think I would stay here again unless management improves.

I am always pleased whenvwe visit New Braunfeks and stay here. Rooms and hotel are always very clean. Close proximity to restaurant and fast food. The check process us quick and easy. And the checkin last us so very super nice and friendly.

Emily was the best. She took care of everything and was as nice as can be. I have stayed here many times AND WILL CONTINUE.

Rude, disrespectful, argued with me, hung up on me abd charged me for items i didn't take.

We had a good time and the hotel was in a good location

Rooms were smaller than I expected, but my kids loved the cushioned window seat. Breakfast was convenient and tasty! Can't go wrong with a Texas shaped waffle. Conveniently located near Schlitterbahn and the price for the night was great!

I had to call the front desk in the middle of the day to check in. I stood at the desk for 20 minutes waiting. The AC barely worked and the room reeked of urine. The location was the only good thing.

It is close to Gruene.

I LIKE THAT THE PROPERTY WAS IN A GOOD LOCATION; CLOSE TO THE INTERSTATE AND EASY TO GET TO AND FROM.

We stayed here for 2 nights and the place was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful! Very good place to stay for the price, beds were comfy! I read several negative reviews but our experience was exceptional and I will definitely be staying here next time I am in town! Also had a pretty decent hotel breakfast!

Our stay was excellent. Usually stay in a room on the 3rd floor but this was excellent. Our family would like to see more of a variety in the breakfast food. Hot choices would be welcome on really cold days!

Staff is very nice. One time I came down for breakfast at 8:30 and everything was already put away. I guess it was slow so they shut it down early. I’ve stayed in here a few times and the water pressure has been atrocious the last couple times. Maybe it was the same room(314) both times. Montana Mikes is a great place to eat right behind the hotel. It’s a good place to rest your head for the night at a reasonable price.

The bathtub drain was full of hair I had to get out with a tissue. The hotel just seemed outdated with mirrors on the wall. Breakfast didn’t have many options compared to other hotels. Was disappointed this was a Wyndham property.

Our King bed was so comfortable. Very good continental breakfast. For the price it was more than we expected
