Great place to stay and shuttle service to the park was a great suprise!

Really loved the loft property. It was close to the shops and river and it was very clean and I felt extremely safe as it was gated. The transportation was SUPER convenient. Just had to call and the driver was on their way. Everyone was extremely nice. The ONLY thing that disappointed me a bit was the lack of a pool at loft site. After a long day the last thing you want to do is drive to the main hotel location so kids can swim in pool. All activities were at main location as well. I wish I would have known that but I know for next time. Other than that. A great stay

We love this place! We loved everything about it! The movie nights with the free popcorn and smores for the kids was awesome!! All the staff we ran into was helpful and friendly! We cannot wait to come back!

We enjoyed the room and the kids loved the view. Only thing I didn't like is in order to access the pool from our location we had to get in the car and drive accros the road to enjoy it. It was not convenient and I think that should be addresses. Liked the room but I would not pick that again because it was not convenient for the resort.

I love that there are complimentary smores and popcorn offered in the activity area with a movie. I like that the resort pool is open until midnight and that we have an hour early admittance to the newer side of the park. The room location is convenient for entering and exiting the original side of the park. The rooms are dated and overpriced for their condition but it is clear that renovations are in the works so that will be nice. I do wish that there were more incentives for and at the park for resort guests (ya know lol other than the experience)

The resort was great room was very clean and the front desk was especially helpful and friendly we particularly wnjoyed the swimming pool and outside theater

I was amazed by this property even during the “off season” once the water park was closed. We still had access to several pools within the resort.

The only reason i gave it a 3 star is because the outside is old and run down. The entire resort needs an uplift. Some of the hotels are outdated. The beds and pillows are not confortable. The lofts need more sitting room. Another sofa would be good. The cool thing is if you stay at a reaort the water park pools are open till midnight. So you can go back inside the park at the pool area at night. At about 730pm the resort does smores and popcorn for free outside with a movie for the kids on a projector screen. Adult beverages and sodas are sold as well.

There is no pool at the lofts beware of this before booking. Pools are 5-7 minutes drive to other property near by. Overall the loft was very nice and was right over Comal.

We had a fun time at the Schlitterbahn Resort. Loved the nightly s'mores, popcorn and movie under the stars. The only thing that could have been better was the water pressure of the shower.

There was a dead roach in the dining room when we arrived. Then saw roaches in the bathroom and throughout also saw roaches crawling up the wall of friends suite.

Room was spotless and the employees were very courteous. Definitely recommend this stay.

The nicest reception staff I’ve encountered in a long time! Room is nicely organized and decorated. Room was very clean and comfortable. Beds had ample linens and pillows and were very comfortable! Super happy with our accommodations and our stay! Will definitely return.

The property was infested with mold and an intense urine smell.The showers have not been properly cleaned. I would not allow my children to step foot in them because of the stagnant mold infested waters that were present. This is a potential health hazard. These rooms should be thoroughly cleaned and it was apparent from the stench of urine and the mold present that this has not been done.

So easy and convenient to Schlitterbahn. Very quick check in process. Room we had was 1 bedroom suite. It was spotless and updated. Had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Space was quiet. Highly recommend..

The stay was awesome but the cleanliness could have been better. The floors left the bottom of your feet black. My wife because she has ocd did pack her cleaning supplies so we dealt with it but we were vacationing, she shouldn’t have to until we were there after day 2. But day 1, it could have been better. My godson slept on the pull out and there was blood and other stains that was creepy. We had to go to the local Walmart and buy sheets. As well as the balcony, just because it is outside it can still use a broom and mop before occupancy. And the trimming around the balcony can be wiped off and not be so thick with outside dirt. Mind you, this was not our first stay. We have stayed on the resort numerous of times but this was a second time at the lofts and the first time was no different. Other than that my family and I will always book with you all and enjoy ourselves but we would love for the cleaning to be better. Thanks

Friendly check-in and accommodated my request for a room on first floor. Property and rooms need serious updating. Although the room was clean and bed comfortable, there was no closet, drawers or hooks for clothing or to hang towels. The air conditioner & small refrigerator were very noisy. There was a dead insect in the coffee pot. The room was very basic, old and smelled musty. Overall, poor value for the price. I would not recommend and will not be returning.

Check in the room. Check the bed there was dried blood on sheet, change them just find more on blanket. Told front desk and when housekeeper came in got the blanket. I show her, and she was like huh must be blood or something. Bathrooms had hair everywhere and towls seem used. Hair on the wall. Just a very dirty room. If want cleanness this is not the place. But the only professional person was front desk. Super helpful and nice.

The air conditioning was so loud when it would kick on it would wake us up, and we really couldn’t sleep at all in the bathroom was very very small

The room itself was super spacious but a little old and run down. The property was showing a mobie out on the lawn with free popcorn and smores! There were so many personal grills near all rooms, we definately grilled dinner one night. Overall though we loved our stay and will definitely be back next season.

the resort area is a little tricky to get around if you arrive at night. either way; it is an older property so prepare yourself for a small room, older furnishings and some clunky electrical lighting and furniture. the beds are very old. they’re soft and you sink towards the middle. the floors are creaky and you can hear pretty much everything from inside your room. what’s good is the location. free parking. not walkable but a few miles from their downtown strip and restaurants and buc-ee’s.

The location was great. Quiet and with a beautiful view of the Comal river. Close proximity to downtown area, river and schlitterbahn. While our visit was in the off season, this would be a great place to stay to visit the aforementioned activities close by. Cons were that the mattresses were very hard, springy and cheap feeling. The furnishings left a lot to be desired. The living area was scarcely furnished with just a loveseat and dingy recline chair. There was a broken end table in the corner of the room, it just felt “cold.” The barstools on the patio were cheap and uncomfortable. Skimp decor. All in all, we had a nice stay and enjoyed the view of the river, it was very peaceful as we were the only ones staying on the property. Staff was nice during check in. We would be happy to return in the off seasons.

There is no connotation of the word resort that should be used for this property. We had no hot water, wasps, the beds literally rolled, they allow smoking in the property, and it’s just all around low quality. We would have been better off at a best western.

Solid spot , train was annoying made it hard to sleep. Overall clean and comfortable bed and room

Room was clean. Location was nice - deck overlooking the river. BIG complaint about the beds, however. Both bedrooms sported full sized beds, NOT queens as advertised. And, they were uncomfortable, cheap beds to boot. The headboard on ours knocked loudly when entering or exiting. Awful! Kitchen area was nice. Living area so-so - needs another chair or two. Bathrooms very nice, although bar soap amazingly tiny. Showers excellent. All in, the primary purpose of renting a room while vacationing is SLEEP. This unit failed miserably, and for that important reason three stars is a bit generous.

The toilet seat was broken. The walls were thin. You could hear the occupants in the next room talking as clear as day.

Booking w/ expedia was the best, fast, easy, however, service at the resort was trash. This was my family and I first time going and i was devastated by the disrespect and the energy we received entering into the establishment. First, the people at the front desk made an error on our booking, and assigned us to the cabins when we originally paid to be in the lofts. A Caucasian male reported my family and had the Caucasian staff remove my African American family from the cabin without explanation, just kicked us out. Then the staff would not give us the same courtesy as the Caucasian guest in explainin why we was removed in the first place, i was completely ignored. My feelings was hurt and so was my family's. The staff didn't even look our way and ONLY apologized to the Caucasian male guest for the inconvenience, while we were left to find for ourselves. Next, I guess the Caucasian staff didn't believe I played for 6 admission Waterpark tickets and 6 premium meal tickets. It's a good thing i printed out my tickets and screenshot my confirmation emailed before traveling from Houston to new braunfels for 3 +hours. I had to pull up the email and my printed forms to prove that my bookin on ny end was correct and theirs was inaccurate. Then, when we finally made it to the lofts, the master bed room lights was off, nothing in back room worked, and the remote specifically to the back room was missing. The 1st night spent in dark.We felt so out of place there as a family of color.

Great stay! Front desk was super friendly and welcoming. Kitchen was clean and fully stocked with dishes, cooking tools, anything you could need really. Bathroom and bedroom were clean and fully stocked as well. Loved it :)

The front desk staff was helpful in accommodating us. They first put us in the older cabins which looked nothing like the photos of the room on Expedia. When we complained they switched us to a newer section of the property with more updated facilities.

The employees are so nice and helpful. Outside areas are kept clean& well maintained. I loved the outdoor movie

Locked out of room and security could not get us back in. Wait 1.5 hours for maintenance to come so we left and drove home.

Had a great stay! This is our 3rd time staying at the Schlitterbahn Resort but first time in the off season and at the lofts. Absolutely loved it! The only negatives I noted: the security gate to the property was broken and wide open so anyone can come in. It's not in the best area, so I was worried about my vehicle being broken into. Also one of the bed frames was so loud and squeaky we had to move the mattress to the floor and sleep down there both nights. A quick spray of WD-40 would fix it I think. But everything was good and no other issues. Very beautiful property in the fall. Will definitely be staying here again!

We enjoy staying at The Resort at Schlitterbahn off season. It is a clean and comfortable property. We also enjoy the deer on the property. It is close to both New Braunfels as well as to Gruene, Tx.

Super close to the park

The property was pretty but separate from the resort. The staff was great picking us up and drop offs just a different location than expected.

Loved the area. They have deer freely roaming.

We booked a stay at the lofts, and it was fantastic. Super Clean, full kitchen, great view of the river and trees. The pillows were a little too firm, but other than that everything was great. The location is even better, it's less than a 1/2 mile walk to downtown with great shops, restaurants and antiquing!

The property was fine, clean and in good repair, though older. The only issue was the train tracks that ran about 40 feet from our front door and the large number of trains that came through at all times of the day and night.

Had a great time in NB and truly enjoyed the condo. Great location and easy access to restaurants and night life. And the staff was great on check-in. They even let me check in a little early, which was a big help.

It was actually fine, the only inconvenience was getting to the room, the hotel itself is old but comfortable, there is barbecue facilities in the surrounding area, the good thing about staying there is that you are close to the park and you can come and go, you have to bring your own food, there is no cooking inside, alcoholic beverages are not served, there is food inside, I don't know the prices because I brought my own food.

I liked the state everything was nice clean beds were so comfortable. I just wish they would’ve told me that there were Dishes and silverware in the cabinets because my room was with a kitchen, and I didn’t know all that stuff was already there until the last day of my day, but it was nice

There are 0 food options. EXTREMELY disappointed about that. After a long day we needed food. Doordash cancelled on us 5-6 times because the hotel is not food delivery friendly. We waited hours for food. The coffee is a 1/10. The hotel is right on the river. Its a huge shame that they have shuttles, but no program to take you up river so that you can float back to your room. Have to pay $26 and wait for a ride back soaking wet, no A/C, and have to wait a long time for all the people to get to the shuttle. So much for that refreshing river.

I loved that there were lots of things for the kids to do. There is a park entrance in the resort, and transportation for the other entrances are right outside the gate of the resort. Our suite had a full kitchen, stainless steel pots/pans, utensils, and dishes; a separate bedroom w/2 queen beds, front/back entrances, and a balcony with a table and chairs for outdoor dining. The soap and shampoo provided smells great. The staff was lovely and provided s'mores and popcorn for movie nights (which was every night!). It was very kid-friendly and felt safe. The front office is open 24/7. Parking was a little weird and hard to find, but no real complaints.

The rooms are simple and comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful. The front desk is always open. There is a store in the front if you need small necessities. The kids watched movies and had s’mores each night in the outdoor area. Overall it was a great experience.

Great stay! Clean and reasonable pricing. Close to bars and restaurants in New Braunfels. Staff was friendly and the pool was very nice!
