Best part up-front; the room itself was clean, smelled fine, bed was OK, pillows were OK, HVAC unit was quiet and worked well. So if all you care about is a clean room for the night this is an OK place. Problems: The hotels.com listing said "continental breakfast" but there was just coffee, so that was a lie (which I've asked hotels.com to fix). There's a huge sinkhole across the entire width of the rear parking lot of the motel, forcing guests to drive the wrong way when navigating the parking lots since the sinkhole is obviously impassible. The outside of the motel (facades, outdoor carpets) are old and worn out. The check-in clerk was grouchy. Free wifi was so slow that it was unusable.

I was actually surprised for what i got or my money. The only problem was that I drive a large truck and access was difficult. Not the hotel but the roads that lead to it.

Was ok, just spent a night. Girlfriend and I went to see comedian in town. It was clean enough, staff wasn't all that friendly. I could see things were a bit run down. Restaurant had really great food. Having to get patted down by security as we entered was a bit of a surprise and made me a little nervous but, they were all very nice

This motel is good for a night stay on a budget. The parking lot was confusing maybe because of the snow and the arrow on the ground pointing in one direction for cars, and there was virtually zero salt on the ground which made the parking lot very slippery due to ice all over the lot. Room was clean and had a fridge with microwave and TV though.

I was in the area for a convention and needed a place to stay last minute for one night. I paid a total of 100 follars for the stay and here is my review: Check in staff was friendly. The main lobby had a very off odor, but there was no such case within the rooms. My room was very minimalist with hardwood floors, a closet, microwave and fridge, all of which were clean and spotless. Water pressure in the shower was good with hot water at the ready. Bed was wrll made and clean, but the mattress was a bit firm for my liking. There were plenty of places to eat, even a restaurant and food truck on sight. The construction in the parking lot did obscure traffic flow a bit, there was no breakfast despite the booking online saying there was, and the side tables needed a bit better cleaning as the surfaces were a bit sticky. Overall, it was a VERY enjoyable stay for the price and i would happily stay there again.

Easy to get to location right off the highway. This Inn is like a motel as you can park right in front of your room. The cars at the traffic lights and busy intersection can be a bit noisy. Room has what you need. It's basic but ok. Bed was clean and comfy. Plenty of hot water. AC and heat worked nicely. Easy check in and out. No free breakfast. EXPEDIA needs to stop saying Free breakfast. I would stay at Red Carpet again.

The check in was quick and easy. The gentleman at the desk was friendly. The room was clean. There are multiple security cameras which make the area abit more safer. The issue is the door got gap and need to readjust to make it more secured. The property got trash bag all over the property that need to be picked up. There are several beers can and glass bottle on the parking lot need to be picked up.

Hallway carpeting hasn’t been vacuumed since installation. No elevator. Had to persist for a room with carpet. Television barely worked. Few channels available. Everything about the room was downright shoddy.

Room was old but OK, Fast internet, Free onsite parking, but the whole place needs a good renovation and good clean especially the outside. Good quite heater/cooler. Value for money, does the job of overnight stay...

The front staff was grumpy and we couldn’t understand them. The bathroom could have been cleaner but overall the room wasn’t bad for the price. Right off the highway was a plus! Also it says breakfast but there is NOT breakfast.

The room we had was dusty and the walls had signs of dried body fluids and food debris on them. It was NASTY. The ONLY thing clean were the sheets. I couldn't even shower because it was disgusting!!! I truly believe I deserve a refund!!! I mentioned it at check out to the woman at the desk and she shrugged me off. VERY BAD ROOM

The Property was dirty the room and hallway smelt like Marijuana and cigarettes'. The room that was booked was a non smoking room and the sheets had cigarette burns on them. Very Very Bad...

It was close to everything. The room was very clean and very comfortable.

I stayed 4 nights at this hotel, and on my third night I woke up in the middle of the night hearing some weird noises coming from behind the tv. When I checked what was going on, I found a hole in the wall. There were 2 MOUSES trying to get a piece of food. Couldn’t sleep the rest of the night. Worst experience ever!!! Totally gross!

Note the rooms are extremely clean, this was like my second time, I think. If I see Mexican chicks cleaning, I relax. You know what I mean. Refrigerator will not keep food real cold. No USB in room fixtures. I know it's a bare bones place many want to insult but it is what it is, and I needed to escape, and this place was just fine for me. Thank you : )

It was a quick one night stay while in the area. The room was nice and a short drive from things to do. We didnt get much sleep due to the animals in the room above us. Several calls were made to the front desk. Each time, the young man said he went and talked to whoever was in the room, but the noise continued. I asked to be moved to another room, but there was not a room close to us open and we had too much stuff to move at midnight.

Mattress was terrible. Like sleeping on a tin can.

This was probably the worst motel experience of my life. We arrive at close to 10PM. First, the place looks like it’s very run down. I get inside the lobby and it’s cramped. When I get to the window, I note that a sign in the window says they do not serve breakfast. The listing for the motel said continental breakfast. The guy behind the counter confirms there is no breakfast. We finally get our room and go to it. The light switch next to the door does nothing. We have to go in the dark to the lights to turn each one on. The flooring is badly laid and we can feel it bending under our feet. The toilet hardly flushes. But that’s not even the bad part. Around 12:15 AM they put this group of obviously drunk people in the room next to us. And the walls in this place are so thin we can hear every single thing going on in their room, practically every word. They wake us up immediately. And then they proceed to party. Loud music, laughing, conversations. This went on for hours. E could not get back to sleep. We heard everything. And then the sex started. Multiple people, multiple times. At 3:15 AM I asked my wife if we could get out of there. She agreed. We packed up immediately, loaded the luggage in the car and bailed. I brought the room key back and told the guy behind the counter we were leaving and why. He tells me he’s already called police for something unrelated that I don’t even know about. That clinched it. We left. Would never go back here.

Room 267 that we stayed in was rather dirty. The bathroom was horribly cleaned. There were pubic and butt hairs on the edge of the toilet seat. Long black hairs were stuck to the walls of the shower and the curtain, and there was a used hotel soap that had been opened and left dry on the soap dish after a shower. There were hairs resembling beard stubble on the sink countertop. However, the floor seemed relatively clean, and the beds were well made. The comforter and pillowcases appeared clean and smelled fresh—neutral, without any fragrance but simply clean. The air conditioner used for heating was rather noisy, but that's still somewhat normal for this older type of unit. There was a 3/4-inch gap under the door of Room 267, letting in cold air from the December/January weather. The TV was almost non-functional. Most channels were defective, with significant image jumps and frequent picture interruptions. A continental breakfast was supposed to be included with our stay, but when we arrived at the breakfast area, we faced an abandoned dining room with nothing to eat. We were told that there was no longer a breakfast service and that the restaurant was closed, leaving no alternatives, unfortunately.

The only real issue me and my fiancé had while staying here were the very hard beds; otherwise, everything else was acceptable.

Very Unsafe and Unpleasant Experience! This hotel is not safe at all. There were suspicious people hanging around, and even random strangers knocked on our room door during the night. The staff was extremely rude and refused to listen or help when we tried to explain the situation. The room quality was terrible - it smelled awful, felt unclean, and overall was very uncomfortable. I strongly do not recommend staying here if you value your safety and peace of mind.

Staff member made reservations mistake and at 8:30 pm front desk called to go see him. This staff was rude, screaming and very unprofessional for a mistake they did. The staff in the morning made a mistake and his way of handling this situation was yelling at the customer who was already laying in bed who is not at fault. He is rude unprofessional and has no business yelling at the customer the way he did. And on top of that he wanted to charge more money than what was originally paid for. This individual should not be working at the front desk he lacks in customer service. His behavior is unacceptable and bad for business at this hotel. He also got into another argument with someone else as I was in the lobby. He was in patient and I was overcharged.

The front desk staff was busy watching the game instead of checking me in. I stood there for almost 5 minutes before he acknowledged me. Upon checking into the hotel, our lamps didn’t work so we had to use the bathroom light. Our door frame was just about disconnected from the wall. The fridge didn’t work. There was a giant crack in the bathroom mirror. There was urine in the toilet and feces smeared on it. Our sheets and pillows had stains on them. Our “non-smoking” room smelled like cigarettes. There was dried blood in the wall behind my bed. Our reservation was for 2 nights. We sucked it up since it was almost 2AM and stayed the first night. We told the front desk about our room in the morning and they refused to give us a refund. We couldn’t bare another night so we paid AGAIN to stay in another hotel and drove back to this one in the morning to check out. The only “good” thing I can say is the area, while run-down, didn’t have any problems. Finances aren’t the best which is why we chose this hotel, but it bit us in the behind here. Please just spend the extra bucks on a nicer place. This hotel is unsanitary and the worst I have ever stayed at.

There are two rude, unprofessional front desk staff. They yell and disrespect the guest at hotel. They hang up the phone when you are talking to them. Tv in the room doesn’t not work, they allow people to hang out, drink, vape and smoke outside the hotel. They also allow anyone to hang out, smoke in front of guest doors Garbage around the hotel, cigarette buds. You need to get better staff worker for the front who check in customers. Two individuals you have there the past two days need to appreciate they have a job and be respectful to every guess in hotel. Those two individuals treat the guest who give them them money under the table nicer. Their behavior is not good for this hotel. Hire someone who will respect all guest not only the one giving money to them Their behavior does not look good for the hotel. They need to be terminated not good for budiness

Basic room. Old facility in need of upgrade but met our needs as a place to sleep while visiting family for the day. Staff was friendly and helpful.

It was advertised that complementary breakfast was available with my booking. Well it was only coffee. Not sure why they had a big area for nothing to be set up in there. The attendant didnt seem engaged enough to even ask if i needed anything just sign for your room. And when i was leaving didnt ask if my stay was ok just took my room key. So ill be going to a didnt hotel next time i go to Connecticut. Theres plenty to choose from now that i have seen the area for myself

The staff were fine but the location was very sketchy. As I tried to check in, a guy in front of me was arguing with the manager about weekly rates. Then there were notices around the lobby of "no visitors after midnight. " there was also a bar that had people coming and going, and making lots of noise until morning. Family was just looking for a clean low fuss place to stay the night on a road trip but we felt fairly unsafe.

We wanted a place just to sleep after going to hear music. It was OK, we slept, got up and went home. They only have coffee and tea in a room that used to have a breakfast.
